Abstract

Kiai leadership is a topic that has received a lot of attention from Islamic boarding school observers, because it is one of the factors that determine development. Kiai has the responsibility to not only lead and motivate, but also compose, manage and develop the entrepreneurship curriculum. This research aims to 1) To describe the role of kyai leadership in forming the spirit of independence and entrepreneurship in students. 2) To find out the obstacles and support in forming the spirit of independence and entrepreneurship in students. The location of this research was carried out at the As-Salma Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang Islamic boarding school. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used in this research are (1) data reduction; (2) display/presentation of data; (3) draw conclusions and then verify them. The results of this research show that the kiai of the As-Salma Islamic boarding school implemented strategies to shape the students' mental independence and familiarize them with attitudes that can help them master various fields and be able to compete in the future. This can be seen in the students who are trained to have a disciplined attitude and manage their time well, including waking up and praying together. And students are also given a platform for them develop their talents.

Abstract

The research investigates the effectiveness of the Arabic Language Muhadatsah Program at the Leading Islamic High School (Madrasah Aliyah) KH. ABD. Wahab Hasbulloh as a prominent educational initiative. The research method involves a comprehensive analysis of participants and the evaluation of the learning tools utilized in the program. By integrating innovative teaching methods, such as Arabic language dialogue simulations and enhancing speaking skills, the study focuses on measuring the improvement of students' Arabic language skills. The research findings highlight a significant enhancement in Arabic language learning, particularly in the muhadatsah or speaking skills aspect. These results provide important contributions to understanding the effectiveness of the prominent Arabic language learning program at educational institutions, specifically at MA Unggulan K.H. ABD Wahab Hasbulloh, Leading Islamic High School, offering evidence and recommendations for ongoing curriculum development and teaching quality enhancement efforts. This abstract underscores the crucial value of skill-focused programs and a focus on foreign educational excellence.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the digital transformation policy applied in Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan KH. Abd Wahab Hasbulloh Bahrul 'Ulum Tambakberas Jombang. This study uses a qualitative approach by conducting a case study of the madrasah. Methods used in this research include participatory observations, interviews with relevant stakeholders, and document analysis related to digital transformation policies. The results of the study showed that Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan KH. Abd Wahab Hasbulloh Bahrul 'Ulum has successfully implemented the digital transformation policy. The Madrasah has made significant changes in the use of information and communication technologies in learning and administrative activities. Some methods used in digital transformation include the implementation of e-learning, the use of school management software, and the utilization of social media for promotion and interaction with stakeholders. The digital transformation in the madrasah has had a positive impact, including improved accessibility of learning for students, administrative efficiency, and improved quality of learning. In addition, this madrasah also managed to leverage digital transformation to improve the image and reputation of the school. Despite its success, this study shows that there are some challenges in the implementation of digital transformation policies in Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan KH. Abd Wahab Hasbulloh Bahrul ‘Ulum. These challenges include the lack of adequate technological infrastructure, the limitations of digital knowledge and skills for some staff and teachers, and changes in organizational mindset and culture. This research provides insight into the experience of digital transformation in Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan KH. Abd Wahab Hasbulloh Bahrul 'Ulum Tambakberas Jombang. The results of this research can be a benchmark for other madrasahs in implementing successful digital transformation policies, as well as providing an understanding of the challenges that may be faced in the process.

Abstract

The people of Sentul village, especially women and teenagers, still do not really understand the problems related to women including the solutions, so the service team conducts counseling about the female reproductive system based on Islamic technology to provide knowledge, understanding, concern for and the importance of maintaining the reproductive system in women, also providing education about the development of the reproductive system in women based on Islamic science technology. The implementation method is preparation, namely making products, implementing education in the form of socialization and practice of using e-modules, evaluating implementation by providing an implementation framework and product results in the form of e-modules and analysis of sustainable programs that develop community service implementation programs in Tembelang District. The results of the program evaluation show that the education provided can increase knowledge about the importance of female reproduction, technological developments and Islam. The output product produced by the community service team is an e-module for the female reproductive system based on Islamic science and technology which can be accessed anywhere. === Ibu-ibu dan remaja Desa Sentul, Kecamatan Tambelang belum memahami problematika yang terkait dengan kewanitaan dan solusinya sehingga tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat melakukan edukasi tentang sistem reproduksi wanita berbasis sains teknologi Islam untuk memberikan pengetahuan, pemahaman, kepedulian dan pentingnya menjaga sistem reproduksi pada wanita, serta memberikan edukasi perkembangan sistem reproduksi kepada wanita. Tahapan pelaksanaan melalui metode persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil, yakni (1) tahap persiapan: penyusunan produk; (2) pelaksanaan berupa sosialisasi edukasi praktik penggunaan; (3) tahap hasil berupa evaluasi pelaksanaan dengan memberikan angket pelaksanaan maupun hasil produk berupa e-modul dan analisis berkelanjutan program yang merupakan pengembangan program pelaksanaan pengabdian di Desa Sentul, Kecamatan Tembelang. Hasil evaluasi program menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya edukasi yang diberikan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan akan pentingnya reproduksi wanita, perkembangan teknologi, dan segi keagamaan. Luaran produk yang dihasilkan tim pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa e-modul sistem sistem reproduksi wanita berbasis sains teknologi Islam yang dapat diakses di mana saja.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to find out whether there was an effect of the scientific approach on fiqh learning on students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes at MA Al-Bairuny Sambong Dukuh. This study uses a quantitative research approach with the type of experimental research. The population in this study were all students of class XI MA Al-Bairuny Sambong Dukuh which consisted of two classes. The sampling technique in this study used saturated sampling used 2 classes, namely class XI IPS 1 as the control class and class XI IPS 2 as the experimental class. The data collection method in this study used the test, questionnaire, documentation, and observation methods, while the data analysis technique in this study used the T-test. The results showed, (1) There was an effect of the scientific approach on fiqh learning on cognitive learning outcomes as indicated by Sig level value. 0.000 < 0.05, (2) There is an effect of the scientific approach on learning fiqh on affective learning outcomes indicated by the value of the Sig level. 0.000 < 0.05, and (3) There is an effect of the scientific approach on learning fiqh on psychomotor learning outcomes as indicated by the value of the Sig level. 0.000 < 0.05. This research will become a reference for measuring the effectiveness of the scientific approach presented by educational practitioners on various student abilities.

Abstract

Pondok pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang sudah lama berkembang di Indonesia, pesantren merangkumi unsur unsur yang berperan dalam penyebaran islam dalam bentuk pendidikan. Hakikat pondok pesantren adalah persiapan sebuah generasi menjalani kehidupan terbaiknya di hadapan Allah swt, memenuhi tugas mereka sebagai khalifah di bumi. Namun Sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman, pesantren harus mampu mencetak lulusan dengan berbagai ketrampilan, karena tidak semua alumni menjadi ulama atau kiai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang bagaimana pondok pesantren memainkan peran dalam menumbuhkan jiwa entreprenur pada santri di Pesantren Rahmatan Lil Alamin. Berwirausaha merupakan salah satu jenis pendidikan yang diberikan kepada santri Pondok Pesantren Rahmatan Lil Alamin sebagai persiapan kedepannya. Mendapatkan pengalaman berwirausaha selama berada di pesantren dapat menjadi salah satu faktor yang membantu lulusan dalam mencari peluang kerja yang menghasilkan keuntungan finansial. Hal tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai jalan pintas untuk meraih pendapatan yang lebih tinggi. Metode yang dipakai dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu metode wawancara dan studi dokumen sedangkan teknik analisis data digunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif.

Abstract

Character education needs to be discussed again. The terminology is becoming increasingly difficult to articulate, but its realization in the real world is weakening. This research aims to understand some basic concepts of independence practised by several pesantren in Tambak Beras Jombang in facing the onslaught of various modern facilities that challenge the students' independence, including applying several situational adaptation concepts. This research aims to examine the population of female students at Pondok Pesantren An-Nashriyah Tambakberas. The data collection methods include observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and field notes. The data obtained through observation are the results of direct observation of several aspects, such as location, condition of the pesantren, profile of the pesantren, and activities of the pesantren. This study uses a qualitative approach by conducting research oriented towards natural phenomena or symptoms, prompting the researcher to investigate due to the rapidly emerging changes in educational phenomena that occur naturally without our awareness. The approach used in this research is a phenomenological approach related to the emergence of character education in general, specifically the independent character education model at An-Nashriyah Islamic Boarding School, which attracted the researcher to conduct this study. After conducting observations and research, the results of the observations show that the students at Pondok Pesantren An-Nashriyaah Tambakberas, numbering 342 people, consisting of 153 male students and 189 female students, are not only supervised by their educators formally but also receive training in speech, MC, Bilal, fiqh practice, and even in their daily aspects, they are provided with iron in each room and self-washing facilities. (bukan laundry). This allows the students to manage their time and personal space better, enabling them to focus on learning and character development in Education.

Abstract

This research aims to overcome the problem of plastic waste in the school environment through training in making handicrafts from inorganic waste. In training conducted at SDN Cupak, Ngusikan District, Jombang Regency, students in grades 3, 4 and 5 were taught to process used straws into creative craft products. This activity involves preparation stages, educational implementation, and direct practice with the aim of improving students' skills and environmental awareness. The results achieved include mastery of craft techniques, increased creativity and product quality, as well as positive impacts on education and society. This activity is expected to encourage students to play an active role in waste management and increase enthusiasm for learning. Socialization develops skills and creativity, which increases public awareness that recycled waste can be turned into artistic crafts. Assistance activities are carried out by changing inorganic waste such as plastic straws into brooches, flowers, toys, and so on. As a result of this program, people improve their waste handling and waste management skills, allowing them to be creative with waste by turning paper and plastic waste into value-added work.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate strategies for improving the quality of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) through the application of analog rice processing technology from tubers as a step towards food diversification and local economic development. Villages possess abundant natural resources, especially various types of tubers such as cassava and porang, but their utilization remains limited. The lack of knowledge and skills in processing local food resources has been a barrier to increasing the added value of these products. Analog rice processing technology using tubers can be a solution to enhance food diversification and create healthy and nutritionally valuable alternative products. The method used in this study includes field surveys to identify local potential, training and technical assistance in analog rice processing for BUMDes managers, and evaluation of the impact of the technology's implementation. The results show that the application of this technology successfully improved the quality and variety of products produced by BUMDes, while also opening new market opportunities for local analog rice products. Moreover, the program succeeded in enhancing the skills and knowledge of the community, particularly in managing local resources sustainably. This strategy is expected to serve as a model for other BUMDes to optimize local potential and improve the welfare of rural communities.

Abstract

Cupak Village faces serious challenges related to the availability of adequate lighting, particularly in supporting the community's economic activities. Limited access to stable electricity has led to decreased productivity, especially at night, hindering various business operations. In addition, challenges in providing and maintaining conventional lighting systems, such as high operational costs and inadequate infrastructure, have worsened the situation. This community service project aims to implement solar technology as a sustainable alternative solution to increase the availability of lighting in Cupak Village. The approach used in this project is the installation of solar panels at several strategic points in the village, serving as the main lighting at night, especially in locations that support the community's economic activities. The community service process involves several stages, including the socialization of solar technology to the community, technical training in the installation and maintenance of solar power systems, and evaluation of the impact of this technology on the community’s economic productivity. The results of the project show that the implementation of solar technology has significantly increased the availability of lighting in Cupak Village. Villagers reported increased productivity in small businesses such as night trading and agricultural processing. In addition, the use of solar technology has proven to be more efficient and environmentally friendly compared to conventional lighting systems. This project successfully provides a long-term solution that not only boosts economic activities but also improves the quality of life for the people of Cupak Village.
