Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan atas kerjasama antara pihak dusun Lengusik dan organisasi kepemudaan (OKP) yang ada di Pulau Lombok. Kegiatan pengabdian Bale Terpadu (BATU) adalah sebuah konsep yang ditujukan bagi masyarakat desa terutama bagi anak-anak & pemuda baik yang masih bersekolah ataupun yang sudah putus sekolah. BATU di dusun Lengusik sebagai wahana untuk memberikan motivasi, akses informasi, keahlian, ilmu dan wawasan tambahan kepada masyarakat desa akan pentingnya pendidikan dan keterampilan mengingat juga masih banyaknya anak-anak usia sekolah yang sudah putus bersekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan kelas-kelas motivasi kepada anak-anak usia sekolah dasar dan kelas-kelas keahlian bagi pemuda dan masyarakat seperti pelatihan komputer dan bahasa inggris, penyuluhan kesehatan dan penyuluhan pernikahan dini. Hasil yang diperoleh sangat antusiasnya anak-anak usia sekolah dasar mengikuti kelas-kelas motivasi mengingat kurangnya motivasi yang mereka dapatkan dilingkungan keluarga mereka. Untuk pemuda dan masyarakat pada umumnya sangat sulit untuk diakomodir karena keperluan mereka untuk bekerja memenuhi kebutuhannya masing-masing. Akan tetapi kami memanfaatkan waktu hari libur atau sore hari setelah mereka pulang bekerja untuk mengikuti kegiatan ini.Abstract: This service was carried out in collaboration between the Lengusik hamlet and the youth organization (OKP) on Lombok Island. Bale Terpadu devotion activity (BATU) is a concept that is intended for rural communities, especially for children & youth who are still in school or who have dropped out of school. BATU in the village of Lengusik as a vehicle to provide motivation, access to information, expertise, knowledge and additional insights to the villagers about the importance of education and skills, remembering that there are still many school-age children who have dropped out of school. The method used is with motivational classes for primary school-age children and skill classes for youth and society such as computer training, health counseling and early marriage counseling. The results obtained were very enthusiastic of elementary school-age children attending motivational classes given the lack of motivation they received in their families. For youth and the community in general, it is very difficult to accommodate because of their need to work to meet their individual needs. However, we take advantage of holidays or afternoons after they return to work to participate in this activity.

Abstract

Abstrak : Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan atas kerjasama antara pihak dusun Barong Birak dan organisasi kepemudaan/kerelawanan (OKP) yang ada di Pulau Lombok. Kegiatan pengabdian Sosialisasi Gempa dan Bale Terpadu (BATU) adalah sebuah konsep yang ditujukan bagi masyarakat desa pasca terjadinya gempa bumi Lombok yang diperuntukkan bagi anak-anak dan pemuda usia sekolah dalam rangka pengetahuan tentang mengendalikan risiko dan trauma healing. BATU di dusun Barong Birak sebagai wahana untuk memberikan motivasi, akses informasi, keahlian, ilmu dan wawasan tambahan kepada masyarakat desa akan pentingnya pendidikan dan keterampilan untuk menatap dan merajut kembali masa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode langsung dengan tatap muka dalam sosialisasi dan kelas-kelas motivasi kepada anak-anak usia sekolah dasar dan kelas-kelas keahlian bagi pemuda dan masyarakat seperti pelatihan computer dan bahasa inggris. Hasil yang diperoleh sangat antusiasnya anak-anak usia sekolah dasar mengikuti kelas-kelas motivasi pasca trauma gempa yang menjadi momok kehidupan mengingat berkurangnya motivasi untuk menatap masa depan. Untuk pemuda dan masyarakat pada umumnya sangat sulit untuk diakomodir karena keperluan mereka untuk bekerja memenuhi kebutuhannya masing-masing. Akan tetapi kami memanfaatkan waktu hari libur atau sore hari setelah mereka pulang bekerja untuk mengikuti kegiatan ini.Abstract : This service is carried out in collaboration between the Barong Birak hamlet and the youth / voluntary organization in Lombok Island. Dedicated Earthquake and House of Socialization Service (BATU) is a concept aimed at village communities after the Lombok earthquake that is intended for children & young people of school age in the context of knowledge about controlling risk and trauma healing. BATU in the Barong Birak hamlet as a vehicle to provide motivation, access to information, expertise, knowledge and additional insights to the village community on the importance of education and skills to look and knit back in time. The method used is a face-to-face method in socializing and motivational classes for elementary school age children and skills classes for youth and the community such as computer training and English. The results obtained were very enthusiastic about elementary school age children participating in motivational classes in the aftermath of the earthquake trauma which is a scourge of life given the reduced motivation to look into the future. For youth and the community in general, it is very difficult to be accommodated because their needs to work fulfill their individual needs. However, we use the time off or the afternoon after they come home from work to participate in this activity

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bimbingan belajar bagi siswa pada materi teorema pythagoras. langkah-langkah yang dilakukan sebagai berikut: Pertama Menemukan rumus teorema pythagoras. Kedua menyatakan teorema pythagoras dalam bentuk rumus dan ketiga tripel pythagoras. Selanjutnya menganalisa permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa dalam memahami materi dan mencari solusinya. Untuk memahami materi teorema Pythagoras yang berkaitan dengan konsep siswa harus mengetahui bahwa garis didepan sudut adalah hipotinusa, memahami perbandingan sudut dan juga harus mengingat rumus-rumus bidang datar yang sudah dipelajari sebelumnya. Untuk menyelesaikan soal teorema Pythagoras yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa harus bisa meperkirakan bentuk gambar dari soal tersebut.Abstarct: This activity aims to provide tutoring for students in the pythagorean theorem material. the steps taken are as follows: First Find the formula for the pythagorean theorem. The two declare the pythagorean theorem in the form of a formula and third triple pythagorean. Furthermore, analyzing the problems faced by students in understanding the material and finding a solution. To understand the material of the Pythagorean theorem which is related to the concept of students must know that the line in front of the corner is hypothetical, understand the ratio of angles and must also remember the formulas of flat fields that have been studied before. To solve the Pythagorean theorem questions related to daily life students must be able to estimate the shape of the image of the problem.

Abstract

The Basic Academic Ability Test (TKDA) has a very important role to measure, mapping, and acquire quality Human Resources (HR) based on one's basic abilities in academic scholarship. These basic academic abilities and skills test the ability to think logically, systematically, and critically. This TKDA is often used for various purposes related to academic scores, such as in recruitment to enter the world of work, in the selection of new student admissions, and for eligibility requirements for lecturer certification (SERDOS). The government lecturer certification requires lecturers who are qualified serdos to have a TKDA ability score with a minimum threshold of 530 for 2022. This threshold continues to increase every year for 2021 the threshold is still 430. This increase in the threshold is intended to obtain lecturer standards better from year to year. Therefore, capacity building for eligible lecturers must be carried out with a systematic training scheme. Of course, it is an obligation to be able to continue until the assessment stage by the assessor in order to achieve the target that has been set. This community service, especially for the lecturers, is very useful for improving their abilities. The material given by the tutors who of course have passed the serdos is about TKDA knowledge itself such as types of test questions, solving tricks, test rules, how to make the test time more efficient, and finally the TKDA simulation tryout. Based on the results of the overall evaluation, it can be seen that the main target of the training implementation has been achieved. Participants better understand, understand, and have strategies to deal with TKDA, and based on the simulation, participants are able to work on TKDA questions well.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan tolak ukur bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat. Ekonomi yang baik tidak lepas dari minimnya tingkat kirminalitas yang terjadi di suatu wilayah serta adanya dukungan sektor pariwisata yang dijadikan sebagai lahan pekerjaan dan perputaran ekonomi masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menjelaskan hubungan dan pengaruh dari tindak pidana dan kunjungan wisata terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel tindak pidana memiliki nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,05. Sedangkan variabel kunjungan pariwisata memiliki nilai signifikansi lebih besar dari 0.05. Hal ini dapat menjelasakan bahwa variabel tindak pidana memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Model regresi linier berganda yang terbentuk memiliki nilai R-Square tinggi yaitu 92,2 %, mengandung makna bahwa variabel tindak pidana dan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan mampu menjelaskan model pertumbuhan ekonomi yang terbentuk. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat diperoleh informasi bahwa perlunya meminimalisir terjadinya tindak kriminalitas sehingga pola pikir masyarakat mengarah pada perbaikan sumber daya manusia dan pembangunan ekonomi masyarakat daerah.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore the views of Mathematics Education students regarding the necessity of using varied learning models, such as Gallery Learning, in technology-based course practicums. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method involving 28 students as respondents. Based on the results of the distributed questionnaire, the majority of students agreed that incorporating varied learning models like Gallery Learning is essential for technology-based course practicums. Students also expressed increased enthusiasm and active participation during practicums using this model. The findings indicate that Gallery Learning enhances students' understanding of practicum materials, fosters critical thinking, and boosts motivation to learn. Overall, students felt that this varied learning model significantly improved the quality of their learning experience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah pada materi penyajian data ditinjau dari gaya belajar siswa kelas VIII semester ganjil di SMPN 17 Mataram tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 139 siswa, dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 104 siswa yang diambil menggunakan teknik Proposional Sampling berdasarkan rumus Slovin. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 9 siswa yang dipilih untuk dianalisis lebih mendalam. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner untuk mengidentifikasi gaya belajar, tes tertulis untuk menganalisis kesalahan, serta wawancara untuk mendalami penyebab kesalahan. Teknik analisis data mencakup identifikasi gaya belajar dan identifikasi kesalahan penyelesaian masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan gaya belajar visual cenderung melakukan 2 jenis kesalahan dari 5 jenis kesalahan Newman yang dilakukan siswa yaitu process skill dan encoding. Sedangkan gaya belajar auditorial cenderung melakukan kesalahan pada jenis transformation, process skill, dan encoding. Sementara itu, siswa dengan gaya belajar kinestetik cenderung melakukan kesalahan pada jenis comprehension, process skill, dan encoding. Penyebab utama kesalahan meliputi ketidakmampuan siswa dalam membuat model matematika, kurangnya pemahaman terhadap langkah-langkah penyelesaian, serta ketidakmampuan dalam menguasai materi prasyarat.

Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive powerpoint media based on the classpoint application that was feasible, practical and effective to improve the mathematical communication skills of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Terara on the Pythagorean theorem material. This development research uses a 4D model, namely Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. Data in this research are obtained from the results of instrument validation by experts to measure the suitability of the media, the results of teacher and student response questionnaires to measure the practicality of the media, and the results of students' mathematical communication ability tests to measure the effectiveness of the media. The sample in the research are 28 students in class VIII D. Interactive powerpoint media is tested to be very feasible with a validation score of 0,86 and obtained a practicality percentage of 90% and 96.5% with a very practical category. The average student pretest and posttest scores are 70.75 and 88.32, the t-test results showing that there is  a difference in the average between the students' pretest and posttest results. The level of media effectiveness is categorized as very effective with an effect size score of 2.0001. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the development of interactive powerpoint media is feasible, practical and effective for improving the mathematical communication skills of class VIII students at SMPN 2 Terara for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

The HIMATIKA Mengabdi 2024 Mentorship Program is a form of community service carried out by lecturers and students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at the University of Mataram in Lantan Village. The main objective of this activity is to enhance students' social awareness and contribute meaningfully to the fields of education, health, and community empowerment. The program included various initiatives such as HIMATIKA Goes to School (HGTS), revitalization of the Creative Park, teaching at the TPQ (Qur'anic Learning Center), stunting awareness campaigns, health check-ups, community clean-up activities, and a cultural night celebration. The results show that active student participation successfully increased students’ motivation to learn, raised community awareness about the importance of nutrition and health, and strengthened social ties among residents. These outcomes were analyzed using the Experiential Learning and Community Empowerment approaches to explain the impact of interdisciplinary student involvement in community service. This program demonstrates that integrating academic knowledge into community service can be an effective learning medium for students while simultaneously generating sustainable positive impacts for rural communities.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the number of students who have difficulty in understanding geometric transformation material, this can be seen from the low daily test results, lack of understanding of basic concepts, inability to solve varied problems, and difficulty in determining coordinates appropriately. One of the main factors causing these problems is the lack of use of interactive learning media that can actively involve students in the learning process, as well as the dominance of conventional learning methods. This research aims to develop interactive media with a geogebra-based website that is valid and practical. This research uses the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection techniques include observation, interview, validation questionnaire, and practicality questionnaire. The validation questionnaire was analyzed using Aiken's V formula, while the practicality was analyzed using the practicality score. The developed media has been tested on students of class IX-A at SMPN 9 Mataram. The results showed that the interactive media with a geogebra-based website was included in the very valid category with a score of 84.5% and very practical with a score of 94.2%.
