Abstract

Economic globalization is the manner of combining the national economy into the global financial system played by WTO, IMF and World Bank players. Economically the Indonesian state has a dependence on international trade, production and finance. Accordingly, the Indonesian nation unprotected to international pressure and globalization. Economic globalization has an impact on national commercial law which must resemble as an integration mechanism that can harmonize the various internal interests of the nation, national and international interests and between sectors of domestic life. Economically there are increasingly competing trade pressures, multi nationalization of production, integration of financial markets and inrush of global capital investment. In dealing with the impact of economic globalization using strategies play an active role in the process of negotiation with globalization actors and creating national commercial law, especially regarding the foreign investment that accommodates the interests of global values to appropriate for the development of the national economy. Globalization is also very instrumental in the volume of export and import in a country, including Indonesia, which will have an impact both negative and positive from globalizing products and services.

Abstract

The inclusion and literacy of Islamic finance is an index that can use as a guide in assessing whether people living in a country know about Islamic finance. Multiple variables can conclude whether a nation knows Islamic banking, one of the variables that can use as guidelines are the literacy and inclusion index published by affiliated organisations such as the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The Financial Services Authority does a survey that can use as further research on the knowledge of the Indonesian people about Islamic Banking. Overall, the third National Financial Literacy Survey (SNLIK) conducted by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) this year showed that the financial literacy index reached 38.03%, and the financial inclusion index 76.19%. This figure improved related to the results of the 2016 OJK survey, correctly the financial literacy index 29.7% and the financial inclusion index 67.8%. Based on regional levels, for urban financial literacy index reached 41.41% and economic inclusion of urban areas amounted to 83.60%. In comparison, the literacy index and financial inclusion of rural communities were 34.53% and 68.49%. The survey results also showed that based on gender literacy index and economic inclusion of men were 39.94% and 77.24%, relatively higher than women at 36.13% and 75.15%. OJK will use the results of the 2019 financial literacy survey to refine the national financial literacy development strategy that is more effective and targeted.

Abstract

Ekonomi dikarenakan tidak hanya negara-negara mayoritas muslim tetapi juga negara mayoritas muslim turut mengambil bagian dari perkembangan industri halal. Sehingga pemerintah negara Indonesia berusaha mengembangkan industri produk halal dalam negeri maupun luar neger untuk mendorong pertumbuhan industri halal. Sertifikasi halal merupakan suatu proses untuk mendapatkan label halal oleh lembaga berwenang. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya beberapa pelaku UMKM dikecamatan Bantan kabupaten Bengkalis yang belum melakukan sertifikasi halal. Penelitian ini secara umum mengangkat masalah terkait implementasi sertifikasi halal, faktor pendukung dan penghambat sertifikasi halal di Kecamatan Bantan kabupaten Bengkalis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa implementasi dari sertifikasi halal pada UMKM kecamatan Bantan mengidentifikasi faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat, dan mengkaji peran LPPOM MUI provinsi Riau. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang menggambarkan implementasi dari sertifikasi halal pada produk makanan dan minuman yang ada di Kecamatan Bantan Kabupaten Bengkalis. Adapun pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan bebrapa cara yakni wawancara, observasi, dan dengan cara dokumentasi dengan pelaku UMKM di Kecamatan Bantan Kabupaten Bengkalis. Saat ini sektor makanan halal menjadi salah satu peluang untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan pembangunan.

Abstract

Orang Melayu mempunyai kegigihan yang tinggi dalam mengekalkan nilai budaya mereka. Kearifan tempatan ialah budaya masyarakat Melayu daripada nenek moyang mereka yang tidak dapat dipisahkan daripada bahasa masyarakat itu sendiri dan lazimnya ditinggalkan secara turun-temurun termasuk kearifan tempatan masyarakat Melayu yaitu Pesta Lampu Colok. Kajian ini memberi manfaat untuk mengetahui bagaimana nilai-nilai kearifan tempatan daripada pesta palam lampu sepanjang bulan Ramadan di Daerah Bengkalis dilihat dari aspek ekonomi. Penyelidikan menggunakan kaidah perpustakaan (Library Research). Penyelidikan ini merangkumi pandangan masyarakat tentang kearifan tempatan seperti pesta lampu colok yang wajib dipelihara tradisinya dari tahun ke tahun yang dijalankan sepanjang bulan Ramadan yang bermula dengan memilih kayu, mencari tin, sumbu, minyak diesel. dan mereka bentuk rangka lampu pemalam. Dalam aktifitas ini, dapat dilihat aspek ekonomi memberi manfaat kepada golongan muda yang bersemangat memasang lampu colok dan masyarakat yang menjual barangan berkaitan peralatan yang diperlukan dalam membuat lampu colok seperti: minyak diesel, sumbu wayar, paku dan peralatan lain.

Abstract

This study provides an overview of the global recession that has occurred the world. All countries, including developed countries, have had a significant impact on this recession. OIC countries are also inseparable from the negative effects of this recession. Almost all OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) countries have been affected by this problem. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research, which helps to analyze the issues discussed. The study's results have been analyzed, and the OIC countries have made several strategies to prevent the global recession from getting deeper. Such as Indonesia, which applies a deficit that must be below 3 per cent of GDP in 2023; besides that, Malaysia is increasing the halal industry because the growth of this sector is quite good amidst the world economic crisis. Apart from that, there are Brunei Darussalam, Qatar and Kuwait, which have fundamentals that are strong enough to prevent the global recession from deepening. It is hoped that this research can provide insight to readers about what a global slowdown is and the strategies of OIC member countries.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy for managing zakat funds to improve people's welfare at the Bengkalis Regional Zakat Agency (BAZNAS).The research was conducted using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, in which the data were obtained through interviews, observation, documentation, and a literature review. The results showed that the strategy for managing zakat funds used by the Amil Zakat Agency of Bengkalis Regency was to increase cooperation with various agencies, including government agencies, often by conducting socialization through seminars on zakat. They were growing the competence of Amil Human Resources (HR), the Zakat Collection Unit (UPZ), and volunteers and developing an information and communication technology (ICT) system for managing zakat. While the obstacles are the lack of public understanding of zakat and the lack of public trust in the Amil Zakat Agency, Bengkalis Regency. The solutions implemented by BAZNAS Bengkalis Regency to overcome obstacles include BAZNAS having to carry out transparency in management, modernization of control, and publication of zakat management. The Bengkalis Regency National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) needs to involve government and private institutions in programs that can assist mustahik in using zakat funds. As well as, the role of local government in improving the management of zakat can increase people's motivation to pay zakat. There needs to be in-depth research on zakat in the regions, and Bengkalis Regency has a different program from the other areas in Indonesia.

Abstract

At the end of 2016, the Islamic banking market share stood at 356.5 trillion Indonesian rupiahs ($26.7 billion), equivalent to 5.03 per cent of the total banking sector’s assets. Islamic banking assets have risen faster year-on-year compared to conventional banking, registering a growth of 8.8 per cent in 2015 and 20.3 per cent in 2016. The performance of the Islamic banking industry in Indonesia has yet to satisfy the public’s expectations. Although with a market of more than 200 million Muslims, Islamic banks in Indonesia still face difficulties luring more customers and increasing their assets. For three consecutive years, the market share of the sharia banks in the country stood still at less than 5 per cent. According to the Global Advisors Islamic Finance Outlook Report for 2016, no Indonesian Islamic banks were ranked in the top five largest banks based on assets in Southeast Asia. This is an alarming situation for the industry and regulators. Thus, it evokes a question: Is the market becoming saturated for Islamic finance? This study aims to determine the factors that affect the market share of Islamic banks in Indonesia. With a focus on four main items, Islamic banking regulations, Islamic banking inclusion and literacy are still low from conventional banks, Islamic banking still does not have sufficient capital and the number and quality of Human Resources (HR) that are inadequate. This study uses an analytical descriptive study is to describe and analyzed data obtained based on primary and secondary data. While the method used is normative and focused on the study of literature, which is then analyzed qualitatively juridical.

Abstract

Islamic economic development does not only measure the level of prosperity in the world, but is much more important than that, namely how prosperity will be in the afterlife. Economic inequality is a serious problem faced in many countries, including Indonesia. The application of Islamic economics can be a solution to overcome this problem with the principles of justice and fair distribution. Even though in Indonesia, Islamic economics is increasingly gaining attention with government initiatives and sharia financial institutions, there are still challenges such as a lack of understanding, regulations and policies that support the comprehensive development of Islamic economics. Research on the role of Islamic economics in overcoming economic inequality and realizing development in Indonesia is important to provide a deeper understanding of the implementation of Islamic economics and the steps that need to be taken for inclusive and sustainable development. The research method used in making this journal is the data selection method. Namely carrying out a systematic search for various journals relevant to the research topic using data analysis such as Google Scholar. In conclusion, the implementation of Islamic economics can be a sustainable and fair solution to overcome economic inequality. By applying the principles of justice, sustainability and transparency in economic practices, Indonesia can create a more just and sustainable society and achieve inclusive and sustainable development goals.

Abstract

Analysis of consumption and productivity patterns in the Islamic economy provides an in-depth understanding of how religious principles influence economic governance. Consumption in the Islamic economy is emphasized on the principles of justice, blessing and social responsibility, while productivity is directed at creating sustainable added value. Internal factors such as religion, culture, education, and economic status, as well as external factors such as price, product availability, government policies, and globalization, influence the consumption patterns and productivity of Muslim communities. Analysis based on Islamic economic principles shows the importance of practicing values ​​such as halal and haram, fairness and justice, moderation, and social welfare in economic activities to create a sustainable and ethical economy in Muslim society. based on sharia principles that are fair, sustainable , and oriented towards the welfare of the people. In conclusion, this analysis provides a comprehensive view of how Islamic economics can play an important role in shaping consumption and productivity patterns that benefit individuals, society and the environment.
