Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has brought significant improvements in the efficiency of healthcare services, especially in patient registration systems. Klinik K24 Abepura currently relies on a manual system, leading to long queues, data entry errors, limited access to doctor schedules, and poor data security. This research aims to design an online registration and queue management system using a website platform with the Design Thinking approach, which consists of five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Observations and interviews were conducted to identify user needs. The resulting system allows patients to register online, view real-time doctor schedules, and receive queue notifications. A prototype was developed using Figma for three user roles: patients, doctor assistants, and administrators. Usability testing involving 10 respondents used the System Usability Scale (SUS), resulting in an average score of 81.5, categorized as “Excellent.” The system enhances administrative efficiency, reduces queues, and improves the overall user experience. Additionally, security measures such as encryption and user authentication ensure the protection of sensitive medical data. These findings suggest that the system is feasible and can serve as an adaptive digital solution to existing challenges in healthcare clinic services.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based Library Information System at the Sepuluh Nopember University of Papua to support the digitalization of library services in a more efficient and integrated manner. The development method used is the Waterfall model, with a UML-based modeling approach that includes Use Case, Activity, and Class Diagrams. The system is equipped with various features such as book and member management, QR Code-based borrowing and returning, statistical dashboards, automatic report printing, and password encryption using bcrypt to ensure data security. Testing was conducted using the Black-box Testing method to validate that all core functionalities operate as required, and performance testing was performed using Apache JMeter to measure system response time. The results indicate that the system runs stably, with response times within the normal range. However, there are still some limitations, including the absence of an implemented audit log for user activity tracking and the lack of full-scale testing in a production environment. Therefore, this system is expected to serve as an adaptive digital solution in supporting modern library services, especially in Eastern Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has driven the growth of the online gaming industry in Indonesia, including in eastern regions such as Jayapura. One of the most popular games is Free Fire, which offers various attractive features and is accessible to a wide audience. However, in the highly competitive gaming industry, the quality of application services is a crucial factor in maintaining user loyalty. This study aims to analyze the service quality of the Free Fire application in Jayapura using the SERVQUAL method, which measures five service dimensions: Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. The research involved 35 active Free Fire users in Jayapura, using a questionnaire consisting of expectation and perception components. Data were analyzed using SPSS for validity testing, reliability testing, and GAP (P–E) analysis. The results show that all dimensions have positive GAP values, indicating that user perceptions exceed their expectations. The Responsiveness dimension recorded the highest GAP (0.50), followed by Reliability (0.46), Assurance (0.24), Empathy (0.17), and Tangibles (0.05). These findings indicate that the Free Fire application has successfully delivered satisfying services to users in Jayapura. This study recommends that developers maintain strong service dimensions and improve those with relatively lower GAP scores to optimize overall service quality.

Abstract

This study focuses on the challenges of inventory management and marketing strategies faced by PWT-Part Timika Wholesale Store, which are often hampered by delivery delays. To overcome this, a data mining method using the Naïve Bayes algorithm was applied to optimize motorcycle spare parts sales. The objective of this study is to optimize motorcycle spare part sales by analyzing sales data and classifying spare parts based on their brands. The research approach used is a quantitative method involving the Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) process, which involves processing 1,010 sales data points from 2021 to 2023. After preprocessing, 567 data points were used, with 80% (454 data points) allocated for training and 20% (113 data points) for testing using the Weka application. The test results showed that the Naïve Bayes model had good classification performance, with an accuracy of 82.30%, precision of 81.8%, and recall of 82.3%. The conclusion of this study confirms that the Naïve Bayes algorithm is capable of classifying parts based on brand, not just the categories “popular” or “unpopular.” This enables PWT-Part to identify customer preferences more specifically, design more targeted marketing strategies, and optimize inventory.

Abstract

Healthcare providers treating pregnant women need reliable tools for accurate disease diagnosis. We created an expert system that assists doctors in identifying illnesses during pregnancy through backward chaining inference methods. The project involved collaboration with medical professionals at North Jayapura Health Center who shared their clinical expertise to develop the system. Our backward chaining method examines patient symptoms by working backward from potential diseases to find diagnostic matches. Through detailed interviews, healthcare professionals contributed their years of experience treating pregnant patients. We transformed their knowledge into diagnostic rules that help the system recommend possible diagnoses based on symptom patterns. The system serves as a decision support tool that helps doctors make quicker, more confident diagnostic choices. Many pregnancy-related diseases share similar symptoms, which can confuse even experienced practitioners. Our tool helps sort through these diagnostic challenges while preserving the doctor's authority in making final decisions. Evaluation showed the expert system significantly improved diagnostic performance in primary care settings. Many healthcare facilities lack access to specialists familiar with pregnancy complications. The system brings expert-level diagnostic knowledge to these underserved areas, improving patient care quality
