Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand and product quality on consumer preferences in purchasing frozen food in Batam City. The simple random sampling method was used and with slovin formula, 152 samples were needed for this study. Data was obtained through questionnaires distributed to the Taman Kota Mas Housing citizens which 202 respondents gathered. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis. This study used SPSS software version 21 for testing. The validity and reliability tests was used as data quality test, whichthe classic assumption tests in this study used the normality test, the multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test and the effect test used multiple linear regression analysis and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2), while the hypothesis testing in this study using the t test and the F test. The results showed that brand had a significant effect on consumer preferences and product quality also had a significant effect on consumer preferences. As of brand and product quality simultaneously had an effect on consumer preferences in purchasing frozen food in Batam City.

Abstract

Promotion and quality of products that are well known through social media and word of mouth can be a company's marketing strategy for a product and form a relationship between producer and purchase satisfaction. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of factors that influence the purchase intention of Sidomuncul products in Batam City. By using non probability sampling, it was obtained 163 respondents. Using multiple linear regression for data analysis and testing the validity, reliability and classical assumptions. This research proves that promotion and product quality can influence purchase intention either partially or simultaneously. From this research, it is expected that companies pay attention to promotion and product quality to increase purchase satisfaction. Keywords: Promotion; Product Quality; Purchase Satisfaction.

Abstract

The development and progress of the business world at this time is very rapid, this is supported by increasingly advanced technology. Many business people run their business by utilizing technology. This study aims to analyze the effect of personal selling and service quality on customer satisfaction. Data collection techniques using quantitative methods and sampling techniques, namely saturated sampling which is all 140 populations used as samples in this study. Data processing using SPSS version 25. The results of the t test on the personal selling variable are t count 6.699 > t table 1.65581 which means that the personal selling variable has a positive and partially significant effect on customer satisfaction and service quality with t count 4,878 > t table 1, 65581 which means that the quality of service has a positive and partially significant effect on customer satisfaction. This result is also evidenced from the test results, namely f count 103.195> f table 2.6, which means that personal selling and service quality variables have a positive and significant simultaneous effect on customer satisfaction at Color center Batam.

Abstract

One of the public transportation in Batam City, namely the Trans Batam Bus. The Trans Batam Bus is a public transportation presented by the Batam City government to the public. In an effort to create passenger satisfaction. Facilities and survice quality by maintaining the value of passenger satisfaction. Determined the effect of facilities and service quality on the satisfaction of passengers using Trans Batam in the Sekupang-Jodoh corridor was the purpose of the sudy. A quantitative method was used to solve the problems in which questionnaires are distributed as instruments in data collection. The sample technique used to collect data in this study is sampling using a probability sampling technique or called simple random sampling. With a total of 100 respondents using the Trans Batam Bus. The results of the research that were tested using SPSS version 25 showed that passenger satisfaction was influenced by facilities and service quality with an R Square value of 0.843 or 84,3%. The study showed the results that the variabel facilities and service quality give a positive and significant effect on passenger satisfaction. Abstract

Advances in technology and science today, resulted in world economic activity growing rapidly. The existence of free trade provides the possibility of competition between companies. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of promotion and service quality on purchasing decisions. The method used is descriptive statistical analysis with SPSS version 26. The results of the t test (partial) that the promotion has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with t count > t table with a significance value < 0.05, namely 2.002 > 1.976 and a significant value of 0.047 < 0 0.05, service quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions with t count 6.463 > t table 1.976 where sig. 0.000 < 0.05. This is evidenced from the results of the f test where f count > f table with a significance value < 0.05, namely 26.950 > f table 2.665 and sig 0.000 <0.05 which states that promotion and service quality have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on purchasing decisions at PT Tasindo Total Inproducts Batam.

Abstract

The industrial world is currently experiencing very rapid progress, this is influenced by technology that is experiencing rapid development. Such industrial developments are widely used by business people in running their business. This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and work discipline on employee performance. Data processing using SPSS version 26 with the type of quantitative research. The results of the t test (partial) that motivation has a significant and positive effect on employee performance with t count > t table with a significance value < 0.05, namely 5.357 > 1.970 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with t count > t table where sig < 0.05 is 9.075 > 1.970 and sig 0.000 < 0.05. This is evidenced from the results of the F test where f count > f table with a value of sig < 0.05, namely 82.509 > 2.644 and a sig value of 0.000 <0.05 which states that motivation and work discipline have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on employee performance at PT. Yeakin plastic industry Batam.

Abstract

In 2021, there have been many online shopping sites that can be enjoyed by consumers in Indonesia. Several e-commerce sites began to compete with each other to attract consumers, so that every year e-commerce visitors always experience an increase and decrease. Based on Iprice Insight in Q4 2020, Shopee has the highest number of visitors compared to Tokopedia. In Q2 2021, Tokopedia visitors experienced an increase and Shopee dropped to the second position. This research is useful to identify the effect of service quality and trust on consumer buying interest through online shopping sites either simultaneous or partial. To obtain data, questionnaires will be distributed to 385 respondents. The data management analysis method in this study uses multiple linear regression hypothesis analysis using T and F tests using the SPSS version 25 application. The results of this study prove that simultaneously and partially service quality and trust have a positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest.

Abstract

Every company will always attempt to pursue the goals that they determine. The goals can be achieved if the company does not merely count on the superiority of technology, operating funds, available facilities, and infrastructure, bute they should also pay attention to numerous resource aspects that the company owns. This studies was aimed at testing and analyzed the Problems of Motivation and Communication on Employee Performance at PT Kristal Computerindo Perkasa. The technique utilized in this study encompassed a saturated sample or census comprising 104 respondents in total. The instrument utilized to measure the data encompassed 5 point likert scale.The analytical method utilized was multiple linear regression assisted by SPSS 25. Grounded on the results, it was indicated that Motivation and Communication positively and significantly affect employee performance from t calculate > t table and its significant value accounted for <0.05; they simultaneously give positive and significant effects on employee performance.

Abstract

Current business developments that are increasingly rapidly making companies will be faced with a real competitive situation from the impact of modernization. The complexity resulting from this modernization, can give rise to serious problems related to marketing. whether the company's products or not will be strongly supported by superior strategies from the company compared to competitors in terms of marketing. The modernization of today's era also has an impact on people's lifestyles in meeting their needs. So in general, every company will try to advertise products by making banners, banners, billboards, brochures and others. However, due to the increasingly sophisticated era, companies are now also improving the quality of their advertisements by using the internet. Promotion through the internet is the most effective and efficient way of conveying information to consumers because of the large population of internet users (Tiurniari Purba, 2020: 766). Alfamart Bukit Melati is one of the Alfamart branches in the city of Batam. Alfamart is engaged in the trading industry and distribution of various products which in operation are in the form of mini markets. This study aims to see how the influence of service quality and promotion on customer loyalty at Alamart Bukit Melati. The population used was 120 respondents and in all sample locations with a saturated sample technique. For the value of the reliable coefficient on each variable greater than 0.60 is good and accepted, then the variables used in these indicators are reliable or reliable. The results of the coefficient of determination test (R2) show that at 59.8%, customer loyalty is influenced by service quality and promotion. So that 40.2% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this article. Based on the criteria if tcount > ttable, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means service quality (X1), and promotion (X2) affect customer loyalty (Y).

Abstract

This research examines the influence of customer experience, brand awareness and consumer trust on consumer buying interest at Indomaret Batamindo Square. In the context of increasingly tight business competition, especially in the retail sector, identifying the factors that influence purchasing interest is very important for the company's sustainability. The aim of this research is to determine the extent of the influence of these three variables on consumer buying interest. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 385 respondents who shop at Indomaret Batamindo Square. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to test the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The research results show that customer experience has a significant positive influence on purchase intention, followed by brand awareness and consumer trust which also contribute significantly. Sales data shows fluctuations, with some months experiencing ups and downs indicating the need for improvements in customer service and experience. The conclusion of this research is that to increase consumer buying interest, Indomaret needs to focus on improving customer experience, strengthening brand awareness, and building consumer trust. Recommendations for management include improving store facilities and more effective promotions to increase brand awareness among consumers. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for developing more effective marketing strategies in the future.
