Abstract

This article is based on an assessment conducted on a counselee who is currently a student at the Wustha level in Pesantren As-Salafi Al-Fithrah, Surabaya, experiencing difficulties in communication and adaptation due to the lack of support from their surroundings. This article aims to understand the implementation process and the outcomes of cognitive disputation using Sholawat Burdah to alleviate stress in a student at Pesantren As-Salafi Al-Fithrah, Surabaya. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive comparative research type. This study compares the counselee's behavior before and after receiving counseling services. The results of cognitive disputation using Sholawat Burdah to alleviate a student's stress can be seen from the changes in the counselee's behavior before and after the counseling sessions. Before counseling, the counselee experienced stress-related problems that affected concentration, caused restlessness, and made adaptation difficult. After the counseling process, behavioral changes were observed, such as the counselee being able to overcome feelings of inferiority with more self-confidence in social interactions, being calmer in dealing with situations, and being more courageous in interacting with others, especially new people in their lives. From this explanation, it can be concluded that cognitive disputation using Sholawat Burdah is effective in alleviating a student's stress.

Abstract

Understanding behaviour plays a vital role for students in maximising their potential to achieve academic success and reach professional and life objectives. This study aims to assess the impact of motivational coaching rooted on spiritual principles on enhancing the learning behaviour of pesantren students. The study utilised quantitative research with a pretest-posttest control group design. Ten 11th-grade students from Madrasah Aliyah Bilingual - Pesantren Modern Al Amanah Krian Sidoarjo Indonesia, who exhibited low scores on the learning behaviour questionnaire, had motivational counselling treatment as part of the research. This study utilised the Mann-Whitney U test for data analysis. The results show that the Z-score is -3.318 and the Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.001, which is less than 0.05, resulting in the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0). Spiritual-based motivational coaching influences the learning behaviour of pesantren pupils. Future research should investigate changes in meeting sessions, populations, and research methodologies in spiritual-based motivational therapy and its impact on students' learning behaviour.

Abstract

This article aims to explain and understand the Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) technique and its development. This article uses the literature review method by discussing themes through relevant books and journals. The analysis technique used is content analysis. The results of this article show that the process of SFBT techniques and approaches need to carry Islamic values so that it does not only treat physically but also forms a kaffah Muslim by Islamic teachings. The reliability of a counselor is also needed so that this rapid counseling technique can run optimally. Islam-based SFBT not only helps counselors deal with life's problems but also helps them achieve worldly and afterlife happiness and peace of mind, by living life by the rules and instructions of Allah SWT. This method encourages counselors to focus on solutions and their potential so that they can overcome problems effectively and build a better future. The combination of the SFBT approach and Islamic values provides a powerful and holistic framework for counseling, helping individuals develop mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Abstract

In the era of Society 5.0, digital technology provides users with the opportunity to communicate and express themselves in unique ways. Some users choose to reveal their real identities, while others opt for anonymity to ensure security and confidentiality. This can be advantageous for the development of counselling media, as it can assist counselees in self-disclosure with ease and comfort. Arahcelah is a counselling medium developed to enhance client self-disclosure through an anonymous process. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the Arahcelah platform in the era of digital technology as a counselling medium in improving anonymous self-disclosure. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis of the counselling service process on the Arahcelah platform. This research demonstrates that Arahcelah can be an effective counselling medium, enhancing individual self-disclosure through five key roles: practicality, openness, confidentiality, empathy, and responsiveness.
