Furfural has emerged as a value-added chemical product which generated from hemicellulose-base biomass, in the context of hardwood it called as biorefining. Several methods have been developed to produce furfural using both hydrothermal and catalytic processes. In this study, hydrolysate is used as feedstock for generating furfural by using diluted sulfuric acid and aluminium chloride. Temperature and reaction time has been considered as the valuable variable. Hydrolysate was charged with the acid-catalyst for around 90 min at certain temperature. The product analyzed by using fourier transform index refractory and excess bromine method. At this time, the highest yield of furfural for non-catalyst process was achieved at 120 oC for 90 min. Diluted acid solution by hydrochloric acid and AlCl3 1% managed to increase furfural production from hydrolysate in the mild temperature.

Baby and toddlers are a vulnerable group in terms of nutritional problems, which must be monitored and provided interventions to produce a quality generation. Fulfilling good nutritional status can affect baby and toddlers' immune system. Giving massage to baby and toddlers can be one of the efforts that can be made to increase endurance and have a positive health impact on toddlers. The aim of this activity is to provide information to mothers who have toddlers regarding the benefits and importance of massage for toddlers, one of the benefits of which is to increase endurance. The material presented in this activity includes the meaning of massage, the benefits of massage and toddler massage techniques. This activity is also carried out directly by carrying out massage demonstrations. The conclusion from holding this activity was that mothers who have toddlers become more knowledgeable and can understand the benefits of toddler massage, and try to apply it little by little in their daily lives. Sumberagung Megaluh Jombang Village, where the majority of the population work as farmers. The technique of cultivating catfish in buckets is still classified as a new innovation and is relatively unknown to the public. This community service activity aims to provide information on cultivation using the technique of cultivating fish in buckets, which is also called BUDIKDAMBER. This technique has advantages in land use for cultivating catfish and pokcoy vegetables using buckets and does not require large areas of land. This cultivation uses quite economical media such as used buckets, used plastic cups, a little water, and is easy to move. The activity will be carried out in October 2022. Starting with the survey stage, discussions with the community, procurement of tools and materials, training, to evaluation and monitoring of cultivation results. Conducting the Budikdamber training with PKK women in groups, the division of 30 members was divided into 5 groups so that each group had 6 PKK members, each group received 40 catfish seeds and 8 plastic cups of pakcoy horticultural vegetables. The results of the activity evaluation questionnaire showed that 27.79% of partners "agreed" and 66.67% of partners "strongly agreed" with budikdamber. Partners also become more aware of the stages in making and preparing buddhadamber. In addition, partners also understand and are interested in trying the Budikdamber technique using other types of vegetables such as pakcoy. The results of this cultivation are successfully used to meet the daily food needs of the community. Although it still requires management and greater capital in order to become an alternative livelihood, this cultivation method is sufficient to increase activity and maintain family food security

By analyzing the growth of dairy cattle farming enterprises during the COVID-19 pandemic with online courier partnerships, this service activity seeks to provide business aid through partnerships. The study was carried out at the Bogor district's kp. Bojong sempu using a qualitative methodology. A straightforward strategy for gathering data was used to interview and observe dairy milk MSME firm owners. Business actors, particularly dairy milk enterprises in kp. Bojong sempu, must be ready to face marketing challenges given the current state of the COVID-19 epidemic. Collaboration with dairy milk MSMEs through alliances with online couriers is one approach that might be taken. assistance in establishing dairy farming enterprises Using the available resources, dairy MSMEs in Bojong Sempu Village must increase production capacity while preserving and improving the quality of fresh milk. This includes marketing and distribution of products that must be sent more quickly without compromising the advantages and quality of products made from fresh cow's milk that consumers receive.

Education and culture are two interrelated entities. Mathematics is an abstract field of study, making it difficult for students to understand its concepts. Culture plays a role in providing concrete objects for learning mathematics. The integration of culture into mathematics is known as ethnomathematics. This study aims to explore the ethnomathematical elements in the attire of the Pontianak Sultanate and relate them to geometric concepts in mathematics education. This research is qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, with Syech Arsula as the main informant. The findings indicate that various geometric elements, such as symmetry, patterns, and basic shapes, are present in the design of the Pontianak Sultanate attire. These findings can serve as a learning resource for geometry education in schools.

This study aims to determine how much influence Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR) which is proxied by Islamic Social Reporting (ISR), Good Corporate Governance (GCG) proxied by the Board of Independent Commissioners, Managerial Ownership and Institutional Ownership on Financial Performance. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with multiple linear regression analysis. The population of this study was 30 companies which were then taken using purposive sampling and the number of samples used was 54. The results showed that Islamic corporate social responsibility through Islamic social reporting had a significant negative effect on financial performance. The variable of good corporate governance through the Board of Independent Commissioners has a positive and insignificant effect on financial performance, for managerial ownership has a negative effect, not significant on financial performance, while institutional ownership has a significant positive effect on financial performance. Based on the results of statistical testing of Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility, the Board of Commissioners is independent, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership have a positive and significant effect on financial performance.

Demam pada anak jika tidak ditangani dapat menyebabkan dampak negatif. Dampak negatif daridemam pada anak antara lain dehidrasi, kekurangan oksigen, kerusakan neurologis, dan kejangdemam/febrile convulsions. Tatalaksana farmakologis diantaranya dapat dilakukan dengan pemberianantipiretik seperti pemberian paracetamol. Selain itu tatalaksana non farmakologis juga dapat dilakukandengan cara memberikan kompres aloevera yang ditempelkan ke dahi. Pemberian kompres aloeveramerupakan salah satu prosedur pendinginan eksternal. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahuipengaruh kompres aloevera terhadap suhu tubuh anak balita dengan demam di Klinik Bhakti KeluargaHusada Podorejo Kabupaten Pringsewu. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan design penelitian quasyeksperimen design. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan di Klinik Bhakti Keluarga Husada pada bulanAgustus-September tahun 2024. Populasi sebanyak 24 pasien demam. Sampel diambil 10 kelompokkontrol dan 10 kelompok inetrevensi dengan teknik sampel purposive sampling. Analisa datamenggunakan uji t test independent. Hasil analisis diperoleh rata-rata suhu tubuh anak sebelum padakelompok intervensi dengan nilai mean 38,170C sedangkan setelah diberikan intervensi dengan nilaimean 37,290C, rata-rata suhu tubuh anak sebelum kelompok kontrol dengan nilai mean 38,830Csedangkan setelahnya dengan nilai mean 37,980C. Ada pengaruh kompres aloevera terhadap suhu tubuhanak balita dengan demam diperoleh p-value 0.030 (p<0.05). Diharapkan ibu melakukan kompresaloevera terhadap suhu tubuh anak balita dengan demam.

Introduction: Menopause is a natural phase in a woman’s life characterized by the cessation of menstruation and a decline in estrogen levels, often accompanied by various complaints, one of which is hot flashes. Hot flashes are vasomotor symptoms that can significantly affect the quality of life of menopausal women. Objective: This community service activity aimed to improve menopausal women’s knowledge about hot flash symptoms and the use of non-pharmacological interventions, particularly the consumption of soy milk containing phytoestrogens as a natural alternative therapy. Method: The education program was conducted on August 1, 2025, at Sumur Batu Community Health Center, Bandar Lampung City, using interactive lectures, group discussions, leaflet distribution, and serving of sy milk preparations. Evaluation through pre-test and post-test instruments showed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge, with the average score rising by 38.28 points. Result: The Wilcoxon statistical test yielded a p-value of 0.000, indicating that the educational intervention had a significant effect on improving participants’ knowledge. This activity also produced an educational product in the form of a leaflet entitled “Menari: Menopause Aman dengan Rutin Konsumsi Soya” and visual documentation for further dissemination. Conclusion: This educational activity proved effective as a promotive and preventive strategy that can be applied in community midwifery services and has the potential to be replicated in other regions. It is expected to serve as an initial step in empowering menopausal women through sustainable nutrition education approaches.
