Abstract

Pentingnya kelembagaan bagi petani diakui dalam pembangunan pertanian, akan tetapi kenyataannya masih banyak lembaga-lembaga petani yang tidak melakukan perannya sesuai yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk:  mengidentifikasi peran kelembagaan pemasaran beras dan hubungan antara kelembagaan pemasaran dengan kelembagaan kelompok tani beras yang ada di Desa Parumpanai. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan wawancara langsung dengan lembaga pemasaran. Data diperoleh berupa wawancara dan observasi, dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 4 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa peran kelembagaan pemasaran yang ada di Desa Parumpanai Kecamatan Wasuponda, belum menggunakan fungsi-fungsi pemasaran serta memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen secara maksimal dan campur tangan mengenai pemasaran hasil produksi pertanian petani padi, baik dari segi sarana pemasaran maupun prasarananya sehingga mempengaruhi kegiatan pertanian. Hubungan antara kelembagaan pemasaran dengan kelembagaan kelompok tani beras sudah terlihat dengan adanya gabungan kelompok tani beras dan penyuluhan yang dibentuk oleh pemerintah untuk memberdayakan petani padi.

Abstract

AbstractThe development of coffee plantation land has become an important tourism area in the preservation of agricultural land resources. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of developing agro-tourism in the Ghitari Coffee Plantation in terms of three aspects, namely the biophysical, economic and socio-culture aspects, where if the three aspects are fulfilled then the business is considered feasible to be carried out. This research was carried out at the Ghitari Coffee Plantation, located in Lembang Kaero, Sangalla’ District, Tana Toraja, South Sulawesi. The analytical method used is qualitative and quantitative analysis, where the qualitative analysis is used to analyze the feasibility of biophysical and socio-cultural aspects, while the quantitative analysis is used to analyze economic aspects using the NPV and IRR methods. The results showed that the aspect studied, both from the biophysical, economic and socio-cultural aspect were fulfilled. Based on the results of the calculation of IRR and NPV, the result of PV of Proceeds is Rp. 789,992,946 and PV of Outlays of Rp. 620,000,000, so the NPV value is positive, in the amount of Rp. 169,992,946. While the IRR calculation result is 27%, so it is considered feasible because the IRR value is greater than the interest rate.Keywords:      Business Feasibility Analysis, Coffee Plantation, Agro Tourism.

Abstract

The phenomenon of national beef supply is still a very interesting polemic to be studied in the world of research. The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of farmers who join the BUMDes beef cattle unit. This research was conducted in Bantaeng Regency. The type of research used descriptive research research. The research sample was 30 farmers who were members of the BUMDES beef cattle farming unit which was done by simple randomization. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the characteristics that influenced farmers who joined the BUMDes were based on age, gender, education level, family dependents, farming experience, and number of livestock ownership. The research conclusion is that the characteristics of farmers who join the BUMDES beef cattle farming unit in Bantaeng Regency are at productive age and male, relatively low education level, the number of family dependents of farmers 1-3 people, farming experience between 1 to 3 years with livestock ownership scale ranging from 1-4 beef cattle

Abstract

Permintaan daging sapi yang meningkat dari konsumen tidak sejalan dengan populasi sapi potong yang ada di Indonesia. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dalam negeri, sebagian besar produksi daging sapi didukung oleh impor, termasuk daging sapi beku sebesar 20% dan sapi bakalan yang digemukkan di dalam negeri sebesar 15%. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, upaya Inseminasi Buatan (IB) terus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan jumlah, kualitas, dan produksi ternak sapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai seberapa banyak peternak yang mengadopsi teknologi IB dalam kerangka Program UPSUS SIWAB. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Barru, Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel terdiri dari 140 peternak sapi potong yang dipilih secara acak sederhana. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara menggunakan skala Likert untuk setiap variabel yang diukur, di mana nilai 1 menunjukkan tingkat tidak baik, nilai 2 menunjukkan tingkat sedang, dan nilai 3 menunjukkan tingkat baik. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif dengan memanfaatkan tabel distribusi frekuensi. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat adopsi inovasi peternak terhadap teknologi IB Program UPSUS SIWAB dapat dinilai dari tiga aspek: (1) waktu yang dibutuhkan oleh peternak untuk mengadopsi teknologi IB, (2) manfaat dan kualitas teknologi IB, dan (3) sejauhmana teknologi IB diterapkan. Ketiga aspek tersebut dinilai dengan baik. Namun, dari ketiganya, sejauhmana teknologi IB diterapkan menjadi variabel yang paling signifikan dalam meningkatkan adopsi inovasi peternak terhadap teknologi IB Program UPSUS SIWAB di Kabupaten Barru.

Abstract

The development of beef cattle operations is conducted cohesively and sustainably within the livestock industry, considering socio-cultural, technical, economic, and ecological factors. It also fosters investment, business expansion, and job creation, and improves farmers' welfare. This research aims to design a strategic program to strengthen corporate institutions for beef cattle at the D'Reppa Cow House, Gowa Regency. This research used a survey method with interviews. Primary data was obtained through interviews with informants/experts using questionnaires and analyzed using Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM) to formulate complexity, hierarchy (levels), and classification between elements. The results of this research show that the ten sub-elements of the strategic program for strengthening beef cattle livestock corporations at the D'Reppa Cow House, Gowa Regency, are divided into four quadrants.  The strategic program design for the institutional strengthening of beef cattle livestock corporations is establishing a research and development base camp for beef cattle farming businesses based on livestock corporations. The research has limitations in terms of data collection constrained to informants difficult to find so data collection is not optimal, in addition, farmers still do not know about massive livestock corporations. Future research is expected to pay attention to the shortcomings of this study in the aspect of data collection and determining responses

Abstract

Rice plants are one of the food crop commodities that have an important meaning for the people of Indonesia. This is because the product produced from rice, namely rice, is one of the staple foods of the Indonesian people. In dealing with the increasing demand for rice, farmers can take various actions depending on local conditions, available resources, and local government policies. One of the factors that affects farmers' production costs is the cost of fertilizer. The government provides a fertilizer subsidy program to farmers to support the agricultural sector. The provision of subsidized fertilizers aims to improve the welfare of farmers. Amendments to the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture Number 49 of 2020, subsidized fertilizers are Urea, ZA, NPK, SP36, and Organic fertilizers, then changed to the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture Number 10 of 2022, subsidized fertilizers are only Urea and NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphate, and Potassium) fertilizers. This study aims to identify the impacts caused by the reduction in subsidized fertilizer types on the production and income of rice farmers in Limpoccoe Village, Cenrana District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province and to identify efforts made by farmers in anticipating fertilizer needs after the reduction in subsidized fertilizer types. This study was conducted using an independent sample t-test. The location of the study was in Limpoccoe Village, Cenrana District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Respondents in this study numbered 57 people who were taken based on a random sampling method from a population of 587 rice farmers. The test results showed that there was no significant difference in the production and income of rice farmers in Limpoccoe Village, Cenrana District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province after the reduction in subsidized fertilizer types. Rice farmers in Limpoccoe Village, Cenrana District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi Province predominantly reduced fertilizer doses after the reduction in subsidized fertilizer types and some maintained their habits.

Abstract

Kabupaten Takalar merupakan salah satu daerah di Sulawesi Selatan dimana padi merupakan produk unggulan daerah. Iklim tropis dan lembab di daerah ini mendukung berkembangnya hama gudang (kutu beras) yang dapat menyebabkan beras menjadi berjamur, bau apek, dan saling melekat, sehingga secara ekonomi dapat berdampak pada penurunan harga. Pengemasan beras dengan metode vakum diharapkan dapat meminimalisasi kerusakan beras akibat serangan hama gudang selama penyimpanan, karena dengan metode vakum, jumlah oksigen di dalam kemasan akan ditekan, sehingga menghambat perkembangbiakan hama (larva hama). Kegiatan pengabdian ini ditujukan sebagai salah satu upaya meminimalisasi kehilangan akibat penanganan pascapanen yang tidak tepat, dengan jalan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada petani dan pedagang beras mengenai metode penyimpanan dan pengemasan beras yang dapat menjaga kualitas beras selama penyimpanan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Kegiatan pengabdian telah dilakukan di Desa Tala, Kecamatan Pattalassang, Kabupaten Takalar, peserta terdiri dari anggota masyarakat petani dan pedagang beras sebanyak 30 orang. Pelatihan telah dilakukan dengan dua sesi kegiatan yaitu sesi ke-1 adalah penyampaian materi mengenai: (1) Pentingnya pengemasan beras dengan metode vakum selama penyimpanan, (2) Tata cara penyimpanan beras yang tepat agar bebas dari serangan hama gudang, (3) Tata cara penggunaan teknologi kemasan vakum pada beras. Dan sesi ke-2 adalah praktek menyosoh, menampi dan mengemas beras dengan metode vakum. Berdasarkan hasil monitoring oleh beberapa orang tim pelaksana, menunjukkan bahwa peserta telah mengetahui metode penyimpanan beras dengan benar agar bebas dari serangan hama gudang dan mengetahui teknik pengemasan beras dengan metode vakum. Kata kunci: penyimpanan beras, pengemasan vakum, Kabupaten Takalar

Abstract

Kabupaten Takalar merupakan Kabupaten yang berada di provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia. Kabupaten Takalar merupakan daerah dengan proporsi balita gizi kurang tertinggi sebesar 27,1% dibandingkan daerah lainnya berdasarkan hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar tahun 2013. Masalah ekonomi dan kurangnya pengetahuan orangtua mengenai pentingnya gizi merupakan salah satu faktor tingginya proporsi balita gizi kurang di Kabupaten Takalar. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan kepada orangtua mengenai manajemen penyiapan dan pengolahan makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) cepat saji dan bergizi, sehingga walaupun ibu bekerja diluar rumah pemenuhan kebutuhan MP-ASI yang bergizi tetap terpenuhi. Program ini telah dilaksanakan selama satu hari dengan dua sesi kegiatan di Praktek Bidan, Kecamatan Pattalassang Kabupaten Takalar dengan mengundang 20 orang ibu-ibu yang memiliki balita. Kegiatan pelatihan meliputi: (1) Penyampaian materi dan diskusi. Peserta diberikan modul sebagai panduan kepada ibu-ibu yang memiliki balita dalam mengolah dan menyiapkan MP-ASI cepat saji dan bergizi; (2) Praktek manajemen penyimpanan dan pengolahan bahan makanan bergizi untuk dijadikan MP-ASI; (3) Praktek menyiapkan MP-ASI cepat saji dan bergizi. Diharapkan dari kegiatan ini dapat mengurangi proporsi balita gizi kurang di Kabupaten Takalar secara bertahap. Kata kunci: Kabupaten Takalar, makanan pendamping ASI, pengolahan.

Abstract

Marketing is one of the main pillars in the business world that determines the success of a product or service in the market. This study aims to analyze the relationship between marketing frequency, understanding of marketing concepts, implementation of marketing strategies, and digital marketing knowledge with the marketing effectiveness of student products. The research was conducted at the D4 Agribusiness Food Study Program, Hasanuddin University. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, targeting students who had participated in marketing-based practical courses. The sample size for this study consisted of 63 students from the D4 Agribusiness Food Study Program. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to the students who served as research respondents. The data obtained from the questionnaire distribution were analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative approach was used to test the relationship between the independent variables—marketing frequency, understanding of marketing concepts, marketing strategies, and digital marketing knowledge—and the dependent variable, marketing effectiveness, using Spearman Rank correlation analysis. Meanwhile, the qualitative approach was used to describe the quantitative findings. The results of this study conclude that the understanding of marketing concepts has a significant and the strongest correlation with the effectiveness of student product marketing, compared to marketing strategies and digital marketing knowledge. In contrast, marketing frequency does not show a significant relationship with marketing effectiveness. These findings imply that study programs should place greater focus on strengthening students’ understanding of marketing concepts in courses related to product marketing.
