Abstract

This community service program at Pondok Pesantren Al-Mutmainnah aims to enhance conventional financial literacy and inclusion among santri (Islamic boarding school students) to equip them with the skills to manage personal finances wisely and independently. The method involved interactive material delivery using multimedia presentations, infographics, and educational videos, followed by discussion and Q&A sessions to reinforce understanding. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test questionnaires, showing a significant improvement with an average post-test score increase of 30 points compared to the pre-test. The discussion highlights that a participatory approach combined with visual media effectively improves santri’s knowledge, although challenges remain in understanding complex concepts such as investment and credit risk. The limited duration of the program also posed constraints on in-depth material coverage. Therefore, extended programs with longer duration and regular mentoring are necessary to ensure optimal internalization of financial attitudes and behaviors. Strengthening financial literacy is expected to contribute sustainably to the economic empowerment of the pesantren and the surrounding community.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly transformed global education, necessitating adaptive learning strategies to overcome the challenges of remote science instruction. This study aimed to develop and evaluate Android-based interactive multimedia using Adobe Flash CS for science learning, particularly human excretory system material, at Sukamaju State Junior High School 1. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach based on the ADDIE model, comprising analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The study involved 27 students from class VIII, selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, and student learning outcomes assessments. The results indicated that the developed multimedia met all quality standards: media expert validation (98.5%), material validation (97%), language validation (86%), and video content validation (92%), all categorized as “very valid.” In terms of practicality, teacher and student responses yielded scores of 98% and 84.2%, respectively, indicating high practicality. Regarding effectiveness, student learning outcomes averaged 87.23%, and class completeness reached 81.4%, both falling into the “very effective” category. These findings demonstrate that Android-based science multimedia significantly enhances student engagement and learning outcomes by offering visually rich, interactive, and flexible educational content. The multimedia enables autonomous learning and supports teachers in delivering effective science instruction. Future research is recommended to broaden the content coverage across subjects and to develop applications compatible with online platforms for wider accessibility.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak Kelompok B TK Singgani Lero Tatari, Kecamatan Sindue, melalui kegiatan kolase berbahan alam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 20 anak, yakni 13 anak perempuan dan 7 anak laki-laki yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Seluruh anak dijadikan subjek karena motorik halus mereka belum berkembang secara optimal. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru memperoleh rata-rata skor 2,67 (kategori Baik), namun masih ada dua aspek yang perlu diperbaiki, yaitu dalam membimbing anak dan menutup pembelajaran. Dari sisi siswa, kemampuan motorik halus menunjukkan bahwa 30% anak berada pada kategori Sangat Baik, 35% Baik, dan 35% Cukup. Pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan yang signifikan. Aktivitas guru mencapai skor maksimal 4,00 (kategori Sangat Baik) di semua aspek. Sementara itu, kemampuan anak meningkat menjadi 30% kategori Sangat Baik, 55% Baik, dan hanya 15% Cukup. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan kolase berbahan alam efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini.
