Thus the sample in this study amounted to a sample of 15 class VIIIa male students of Junior High School 9 Tapung. After that, the data is processed statistically, to test normality with the lilifors test and correlation at a significant level  (0.05). The first analysis between leg muscle power (X1) with the running speed of 100 meters of class VIIIa male students of 9 Junior High School Tapung (Y)  , where rtab at a significant level  (0.05) = 0.532 which rcount (0.161)> rtab (0.532), it means that the hypothesis is accepted and there is no strong relationship between leg muscle power and short-distance running speed of 100 meters, the second analysis is the relationship between leg muscle power (X1) and short-distance running speed of 100 meters (Y) was obtained, where rtab at a significant level  (0.05) = 0.532, which rcount (0.161)> rtab (0.532).  It can be concluded that the relationship between (X1) and (Y) or the relationship between leg muscle power and the running speed of 100 meters of grade VIIIa male students of  Junior High School 9 Tapung is significant. Key Words: Power and Speed

Abstract

The prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia is still high. Several factors, including knowledge and compliance influence the outcome of hypertension therapy. Management of hypertension based on medication adherence is absolutely necessary with the aim of achieving and maintaining blood pressure below 140/90 mmHg. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance of hypertensive patients at Ramadhan Pharmacy. This study used an analytical observational research method with a cross-sectional approach. Purposive sampling techniques are used to collect data from 78 patients. Data was collected during the period July-August 2022. Respondents were hypertensive patients who met the inclusion criteria, who had been taking antihypertensive drugs for one month and were willing to fill in informed consent. Data collection using validated questionnaire tools, in the form of level of knowledge and adherence to antihypertensive drug therapy (MARS). Data results were analyzed using test statistical analysis Fisher Exact SPSS to determine if there is a relationship between knowledge and compliance. Based on the Fisher Exact Test, respondents had a high level of knowledge, and 73% and 77% of hypertensive patients were obedient to antihypertensive drugs, respectively.  The relationship of knowledge level with adherence to antihypertensive drugs p-value = 0.017 (OR=4,000.95%; CI (1.305- 12.256). The conclusion of this study shows the relationship between knowledge and adherence therapy in hypertensive patients at Ramadhan Pharmacy Yogyakarta. Therefore, the role of pharmacist education is one of the efforts to improve pharmaceutical services for hypertensive patients in improving adherence and success of therapy.

Abstract

Background: Emergency admissions acute lung oedema and hyperglycemic crisis still very common and challenging. Both conditions are emergencies, where delay in treatment will cause increased morbidity and mortality. This report will discuss the case of a 62-year-old woman with acute lung oedema and hyperglycemia, as well as her emergency management. Case Summary: A 62-year-old woman present with severe shortness of breath since 2 hours before admission. The patient has a history of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and heart disease and has not recently taken medication regularly. Physical examination revealed blood pressure: 260/132 mmHg, and SpO2: 86% Room Air. Thorax examination revealed vesicular sounds +/+, wheezing +/+, and full rhonki +/+ throughout the lung fields. Laboratory examination showed a blood sugar value of 539mg/dL. Chest X-ray shows cardiomegaly and pulmonary edema. Our patient was diagnosed with Acute Lung Oedema, hyperglycemia crisis, Hypertensive emergency. Conclusion: Management of patients with hyperglycemia and acute lung oedema is carried out simultaneously by the respective recommendations given. However, the rehydration volume in this case needs to be modified and it is important to provide fluid resuscitation conservatively. Hemodynamic assessments need to be carried out to ensure adequate fluid administration so as not to cause overhydration. -- Highlights: 1. This case underscores the challenge of managing hyperglycemic crisis alongside acute lung edema, emphasizing the importance of conservative, hemodynamically guided fluid resuscitation to balance rehydration needs with pulmonary safety.

Abstract

This program aims to increase understanding and skills about live pharmacy plants that are beneficial for health in efforts to prevent the spread of disease, increase knowledge about the cultivation of various types of live pharmacy plants that have economic value, increase public awareness in preventing the spread of the pandemic, and encourage community independence in developing the potential of natural resources around them, especially those derived from live pharmacy plants. The method used is PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal), where the activity program involves partners in activities and activities carried out at partner locations. The use of PRA is carried out independently and in cooperation, so that community independence and several principles are realized. Based on the results of discussions conducted with partners, the partners will continue to strive to develop one of the products derived from existing medicinal plants. This is done because the partners want a typical village drink that is efficacious in maintaining immunity, especially when visitors visit the village. The partners also want the existing medicinal plants with special packaging for souvenir production in Sukahurip village. It can be concluded that the program has had a significant positive impact on the community, as evidenced by the increased awareness, understanding, and cultivation of living pharmacy at home, as well as a surge in the number of households that have a living pharmacy. In addition to the impact on health, the program has opened new economic opportunities.
