Abstract

Persaingan usaha merupakan salah satu hal yang tidak dapat dihindari dalam dunia ekonomi termasuk dunia usaha. Dalam perspektif Islam, persaingan diperbolehkan asalkan dilakukan secara jujur ​​dan adil. Salah satu hal yang dilarang atau menjadi godaan dalam dunia usaha adalah eksploitasi, monopoli, penipuan, dan masih banyak lagi. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, diperlukan pengawasan ketat dari pemerintah dan lembaga, edukasi bagi pelaku usaha, serta dukungan bagi usaha kecil menengah. Penerapan prinsip ekonomi Islam yang berlandaskan kejujuran dan regulasi yang transparan dapat menciptakan persaingan usaha yang sehat dan adil.

Abstract

Hamlet Kasah, Nogojatisari Village is an area where almost every resident works as a farmer. Most of the residents in Dusun Kasah also have cattle farms that are managed traditionally. The manure from cattle farms has not been properly utilized by local residents, causing a buildup of abandoned cow manure around the stables. This service activity aims to provide education and empower the community in processing livestock manure into organic fertilizer that has economic value and can support the development of the agricultural and plantation sectors in Nogojatisari Village. The partners for this activity were the Sambeng District Agriculture Counseling Center, the Dusun Kasah Farmers Group, and the PKK Dusun Kasah Mother. The service is carried out using 3 approaches, namely counseling, simulation, and utilization. The results of this community service activity are expected to increase public awareness of the importance of processing livestock manure into organic fertilizer in order to minimize the use of inorganic fertilizers in order to preserve nature. Community awareness of the importance of maintaining environmental balance is expected to increase along with increased knowledge about the use of natural resources as organic fertilizer.

Abstract

Studi ini mengevaluasi pelatihan pembuatan alat peraga termodinamika dan pemodelan percobaan Stirling bagi guru-guru Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Kabupaten Tuban dengan tujuan memperkaya metode pembelajaran Fisika. Proses pelatihan berjalan efektif, memungkinkan guru-guru untuk memahami dan menerapkan pengetahuan teori dan praktik secara optimal. Hasil evaluasi mengungkapkan tingginya tingkat keberhasilan pelatihan, yang dibuktikan dari hasil rata-rata total persentase sebesar 81,56%. Integrasi pendekatan dari teori dengan praktik dalam metode pembelajaran memberikan implikasi positif, mendukung efektivitas pembelajaran di kelas, dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat siswa terhadap konsep-konsep Fisika secara interaktif. Penelitian ini berpotensi membantu para guru untuk dapat mengintegrasikan alat peraga termodinamika dalam proses pembelajaran Fisika tingkat SMA.

Abstract

This study examines the optimization of the PAMSIMAS (Community-Based Drinking Water and Sanitation Provision) program in Sidomulyo Village, Ngadirojo District, Pacitan, as a proactive strategy to address drought conditions intensified by the village's geographical challenges. This study aimed to achieve two primary objectives: to evaluate the existing water distribution system and to suggest both technical and community-oriented enhancements to secure a more dependable water supply. Field observations and technical analysis indicate that the existing system, dependent on antiquated infrastructure, faces challenges in delivering reliable water access to Ledok Wetan and Ledok Kulon hamlets. To tackle this issue, we suggested the implementation of a booster pump to enhance water pressure and facilitate concurrent water distribution throughout both hamlets. Furthermore, participation from the community in training related to system maintenance and water resource management was promoted to guarantee enduring sustainability. The results indicate that integrating infrastructure enhancements with community education has the potential to enhance water security, offering a framework that may be applied in other drought-impacted areas of Indonesia.

Abstract

This research examines the difficulties in high school physics education in Nganjuk Regency, Indonesia, specifically the lack of practical teaching tools for successful thermodynamics training. The aim is to assess a community service training program intended to improve the skills of physics instructors via low-temperature Stirling engine modeling kits. The program utilized a descriptive qualitative technique, incorporating preliminary questionnaires, interactive workshops, and practical training sessions in which educators created and employed Stirling engine kits as teaching instruments. Teachers' comments were evaluated using a Likert scale, concentrating on the congruence of training with learning objectives, resources, and student attributes. The results revealed an overall satisfaction score of 89.53%, highlighting notable enhancements in instructors' capacity to engage students and employ project-based learning methodologies. The Stirling engine kits significantly enhanced student engagement and comprehension of thermodynamic fundamentals. The training improved instructors' academic and practical skills while promoting a dynamic and participatory classroom environment. This effort illustrates the capacity of novel teaching tools and collaborative training programs to markedly enhance the quality of physics education, indicating possibilities for scaling to other locations and disciplines. Future proposals involve incorporating these teaching tools into standard curriculum and creating continuous professional development networks for enduring educational progress.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the concept applied by the Messenger of Allah -peace be upon him- in building polygamous household harmony. The polygamy law is a solution to various problems experienced by Muslims, especially Muslim women, as a form of uplifting women's dignity. The example shown by the Messenger of Allah -peace be upon him- and his companions as practitioners of the polygamy law is a depiction of the real and solutive implementation of polygamy initiated by Islam. However, the practice of unhealthy polygamy implemented by some groups under the pretext of implementing Islamic teachings today tends to prioritize prestige, pride, and lust. This is what makes the rejection and controversy related to polygamy even greater and wider. This is reinforced by the high divorce rate due to polygamy. This phenomenon is inversely proportional to the practice of polygamy in the life of the Messenger of Allah -peace be upon him- which was harmonious and peaceful, both the relationship between him as a husband with his wives and the relationship between the wives in polygamous life. This research is qualitative research with data collection using literature review techniques. The data used in this research comes from secondary data in the form of books, articles, and scientific journals that have information relevant to the research topic. This research uses content analysis as a data analysis technique and deductive concepts in making conclusions. The results of this research show that the concepts implemented by the Messenger of Allah -peace be upon him- in building the harmony of polygamous household life are fairness in the division of nights and provision, making the wives’ houses close to each other, visiting all wives every day, and gathering the wives in one house every night.

Abstract

Desa Ponokawan yang mayoritas penduduknya menggantungkan hidup pada sektor pertanian menghadapi berbagai permasalahan seperti keterbatasan lahan, sumber daya air, dan pola tanam musiman yang menyebabkan rendahnya produktivitas dan pendapatan petani. Pandemi Covid-19 semakin memperburuk kondisi perekonomian desa, sehingga petani mulai mengadopsi sistem hidroponik untuk menjaga ketahanan pangan dan perekonomian masyarakat. Namun, minimnya pengetahuan menyebabkan kegagalan dalam mengelola hidroponik. Oleh karena itu, teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) diterapkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas pertanian di desa ini. Sistem hidroponik berbasis IoT (HYFARM) dipasang untuk memantau suhu, pH, dan kadar nutrisi, serta terintegrasi dengan aplikasi berbasis IoT untuk pemantauan jarak jauh. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas tanaman pakcoy yang signifikan, menghemat waktu dan tenaga, serta mengurangi kesalahan manusia. Dampak ekonomi yang signifikan juga dirasakan, dengan peningkatan pendapatan petani melalui hasil panen yang lebih baik dan diversifikasi produk menjadi es krim pakcoy. Program ini berkontribusi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi berkelanjutan di Desa Ponokawan. Kata Kunci: Hidroponik, Internet of Things (IoT), Pertanian Cerdas, Ekonomi Berkelanjutan

Abstract

Relokasi parameter gempabumi merupakan salah satu inversi geofisika yang dilakukan untuk mendapatkan nilai parameter baru dengan ketepatan yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh iterasi terhadap perubahan nilai parameter yang dihasilkan pada relokasi gempabumi menggunakan metode geiger, serta untuk mengetahui parameter gempabumi setelah dilakukan relokasi menggunakan metode geiger. Perhitungan relokasi menggunakan parameter awal gempa sebagai variabel kontrol, iterasi sebagai variabel manipulasi, nilai error, parameter gempa baru, grafik perubahan parameter pada setiap iterasi, grafik perubahan error (Δx, Δy, Δz, dan Δt) pada setiap iterasi, serta peta episenter gempabumi sebelum dan sesudah direlokasi sebagai variabel respon. Perhitungan relokasi metode geiger diolah menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan dilakukan regresi berganda dengan enam kali iterasi sehingga mendapatkan error minimum. Peneitian ini menghasilkan parameter baru diantaranya adalah koordinat episenter (110,735 BT dan -7,324 LS) dengan perubahan sejauh 0,005 ºBT dan 0,0156 ºLS dari koordinat episenter awal, kedalaman 18,11 km dengan perubahan sejauh 5,11 km dari kedalaman awal, dan Origin time yaitu pada 11:29:33,7 UTC dengan perubahan sebanyak 2,44 detik dari Origin time awal. Kata Kunci: Relokasi, parameter gempabumi, metode geiger Abstract Earthquake parameter relocation is one of the geophysical inversions conducted to obtain new parameter values with better accuracy. This study was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of iteration on changes in parameter values produced in earthquake relocation using the Geiger method, as well as to determine the earthquake parameters after relocation using the Geiger method. The relocation calculation uses the initial earthquake parameters as control variables, iterations as manipulation variables, error values, new earthquake parameters, graphs of parameter changes at each iteration, graphs of error changes (Δx, Δy, Δz, and Δt) at each iteration, and earthquake epicenter maps before and after relocation as response variables. Geiger method relocation calculations are processed using Microsoft Excel and multiple regression is performed with six iterations to get the minimum error. This research produces new parameters including epicenter coordinates (110.735 East and -7.324 LS) with a change of 0.005 ºBT and 0.0156 ºLS from the initial epicenter coordinates, depth of 18.11 km with a change of 5.11 km from the initial depth, and Origin time at 11:29:33.7 UTC with a change of 2.44 seconds from the initial Origin time. Abstract

Secondary school students learn about uniform motion from their physics teachers through either an introductory concept of motion, particularly uniform motion in class or hands-on activities in the laboratory. In the university, students obtain similar treatment with no insight into the best example of uniform motion. In the long term, this may result in learning difficulties when facing real examples in nature. The objectives of this study are two-fold. We first engage 15 high-school physics teachers to observe horizontal motion of fluids with different densities as a model for uniform motion through an approach of video-based learning. We then facilitate them through active engagement during the observations to enrich teachers’ pre-conception of uniform motion. The methods in this study involved watching gravity current videos to examine its propagation and delivering a diagnostic test, designed for enrichment processes. The results showed that overall understandings of the gravity current motions were relatively good amongst the participants despite the newly instructional videos. The approach led to enhanced learning, where good performance on the test was achieved. In turn, the gained understandings could be implemented and used to support goals of better quality of physics teaching in schools through sustainable development of human resources. ABSTRAK Siswa sekolah menengah atas belajar tentang gerak lurus beraturan secara teori di kelas melalui pemahaman konsep gerak lurus beraturan dan aktivitas praktikum fisika di laboratorium. Mahasiswa perguruan tinggi juga mendapatkan perlakuan dan pengalaman belajar yang sama tanpa ada kajian mendalam tentang contoh nyata gerak lurus beraturan. Dalam jangka panjang, pengalaman belajar seperti itu bisa menimbulkan masalah kesulitan belajar tentang pemahaman gerak lurus beraturan jika mereka menemui contoh-contoh nyata gerak lurus beraturan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan penelitian pengabdian masyarakat ini ada dua, yaitu pertama melibatkan 15 orang guru fisika sekolah menengah atas untuk mengamati gerak gravity current sebagai model gerak lurus beraturan melalui pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis video dan kedua memfasilitasi para guru tersebut melalui keterlibatan aktif selamat proses pengamatan untuk pengayaan konsep gerak lurus beraturan. Metode penelitian dilaksanakan melalui serangkaian pengamatan video gravity current untuk mempelajari gerak lurus beraturan dan tes diagnostik yang dirancang untuk pengayaaan konsep gerak lurus beraturan. Hasil-hasil tes diagnostik menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman para guru tentang konsep gerak lurus beraturan adalah baik meskipun mereka harus belajar melalui pembelajaran berbasis video yang baru diperkenalkan. Pendekatan pembelajaran dengan media video mampu meningkatkan gairah dan hasil belajar yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil tes diagnostik yang relatif baik. Implikasi proses belajar dengan memanfaatkan video pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman konsep gerak lurus beraturan yang bisa diterapkan untuk menunjang pengajaran fisika di sekolah.
