Abstract

Partners in this program are teachers from the National High School or Bukit Katil State School (SMK) in Ayer Keroh, Melaka, Malaysia. The problem faced by partners is that there is still not optimal knowledge about the use of digital learning and business education from an Islamic studies perspective. Apart from that, several teachers have never attended seminars on developing business education which is very important for increasing their insight as teachers at the vocational school level. The teachers have never held discussion activities related to this topic face to face with lecturers or delegates from international universities. In relation to these problems, the problems are efforts to increase literacy, knowledge and insight of teachers regarding the use of digital learning and development of buying and selling businesses from an Islamic perspective through seminars and joint discussions, and efforts to increase Islamic economic and financial literacy, communication skills within the scope of business education development, for teachers together with lecturers from various universities in Indonesia. Abstract

Zakat institutions make a variety of new innovations and accelerations in terms of management strategies to improve zakat management. Getting support from Government Regulations and DSN MUI Fatwa regarding the use of IT is certainly a motivation for zakat institutions to increasingly actively develop technology-based services. IT is one of the main focuses of the marketing strategy to increase muzaki's interest in distributing zakat through online zakat services. But in the middle of the community it seems that the presence of digital zakat services still requires a long process of obtaining 'postioning'. In addition, the use of technology must also be more careful, especially because of the negative impact it has. Sharia marketing mix offers strategy management based on sharia principles which in its development is dominated by contemporary fiqh studies. The research aims to provide a literature review on the collaboration of sharia marketing mix and digital marketing zakat. An interesting study considering there are still few studies that reveal a combination of both. Sharia marketing mix present offers management strategies that conventional marketing mix lacks. The results of the literature review state that sharia marketing mix has a special advantage in filtering the negative impact of the use of technology compared to the marketing mix which has been widely used by companies, financial institutions and non-banks.

Abstract

The E-commerce usage service quality index is the lowest among other parameters. The purpose of the study investigates the effect of e-Service Quality and e-WOM on consumer behavior using the maqasid ash-shariah approach. This research uses quantitative methods with an associative statistical approach. The results showed that e-service quality and e-WOM have a positive influence on consumer behavior. This means that when the e-service quality and Electronic Word of Mouth variables increase, so does the consumer behavior variable to make purchases in e-commerce transactions. The novelty of this research is the development of marketing management theory from the perspective of Islamic Economics in the digital era. Theoretical implications show that choosing the right e-service quality and e-WOM results in a positive response to the service quality of e-commerce users. From the perspective of Islamic Economics, the values of maqashid asy-syari'ah can influence the goal of achieving human welfare. So that all needs for goods/services have a benefit for human needs, be it dharuriyah, hajiyah and taxiniyah. The results of this research can be used as input for the Government to improve Electronic System Operator (PSE) services. So that later e-commerce can provide even better services.

Abstract

A significant portion of coastal communities in Indonesia continues to experience extreme poverty. Addressing poverty is a key priority of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), yet achieving equality and social justice remains challenging due to various obstacles. This study employs a literature review to explore the relationship between the SDGs and efforts to achieve equality and social justice, focusing on approaches to alleviate extreme poverty in coastal communities through Sharia-based community empowerment. The first finding highlights that the SDGs can serve as a tool to secure equality and social justice for coastal communities. The second finding suggests that a Sharia entrepreneurship approach, emphasizing the potential of these communities, can be implemented through government support, Sharia banking, and Sharia social financial institutions. The study concludes that the SDGs play an important role in achieving equality and social justice, supported by Sharia-based community empowerment initiatives. These findings are intended to provide guidance for stakeholders in developing community-centered empowerment strategies. This requires not only focusing on funding programs and policies but also on enhancing the capacity of human resources, particularly in Islamic business ethics, technology, and institutional development.

Abstract

IntroductionLampung Province consists of heterogeneous tribes and ethnicities. The majority is Muslim, followed by Protestants, Catholics, Hindus, and Buddhists. This makes Lampung Province known as the earth of ruwai jurai. This condition makes Lampung Province a miniature of the State of Indonesia.ObjectivesThis study investigates the religiosity and determinants of consumption of urban and sub-urban communities in Lampung Province.MethodThis study uses a quantitative research approach with a sample of 262 participants.ResultsThe findings revealed that there was no significant difference between rural and urban communities in purchasing food. Further, it was revealed that the respondents who made the object were consumers in the modern market with ages between 21-40 years old at 64.9% and with high school and Strata 1 education at 89.7%. Education level and age are the main factors in public consumption both in urban and rural areas. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the better understanding of religion a Muslim community has, the more selective they will be in purchasing the products they need. Therefore, it can be concluded that urban and rural communities consume research variables from the aspect of religiosity and economic determinants in the same condition so that modern markets as research locations provide an equal impact on urban and rural communities in consumption. ImplicationsStakeholders need to expand permits for the operation of modern markets by paying attention to the economy of traditional economic actors. Other factors, such as improving the quality and equitable distribution of education and increasing information about products both by producers and the government through mass media and social media, are also actively carried out carefully.Originality/Novelty This study provides an additional understanding of how religiosity contributes to consumption in societies with differing religious backgrounds.

Abstract

Demography is writings about people or human population. Demography is also known as population science, which is the science that studies the dynamics of human population. Demography comes from a combination of Greek words, namely demos meaning people or population, while graphein means writing or records. Demography studies the population, the most important of which is studying fertility or birth, mortality or death and mobility. Population affects the economic growth of a region. Population plays an important role in the economy with rapid growth throughout the world. Population growth will have a major impact on the country's economy, as is the case in developing countries including Indonesia. The implications of population size, development, and quality are very important to consider in planning for proper economic development in the future. Population dynamics are conditions in which the population structure, number, and distribution change due to demographic processes such as birth, death, and migration. Population growth, according to Lucas, Donald & Young (1990), is influenced by three main elements, namely fertility (birth), mortality (death), and migration. The fertility rate has a positive effect on population growth or increases the population, while the mortality rate has a negative effect or reduces the growth rate.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a systematic literature review on the themes of equality and social justice for people with disabilities in Indonesia, with a specific focus on their intersection with community empowerment within the halal industry. Using empirical evidence and bibliometric analysis, the review applies the keywords "equality and social justice," "people with disabilities," and "sharia economic empowerment" to explore relevant literature. Data were collected through the Publish or Perish tool, identifying over 1,000 academic publications from 2014 to 2024, and visualized using VOSviewer. The findings highlight two key points: first, while various regulations, policies, and flagship programs have sought to promote equality and social justice for people with disabilities, their implementation remains suboptimal in ensuring the full realization of rights. Second, empowerment strategies rooted in sharia economic models emphasize the transformation of negative mindsets and the adoption of Islamic entrepreneurial approaches. Notably, there was a significant decline in research interest from 2014 to 2021, followed by a resurgence through 2023. These insights offer a valuable reference for policymakers and stakeholders to design more effective initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities through inclusive economic empowerment.======================================================================================================== ABSTRAK - Pemberdayaan Kelompok Marjinal melalui Industri Halal di Indonesia: Sebuah Tinjauan Literatur Sistematis.

Abstract

This research investigated how zakat collection strategies can be carried out through the role of government, GCG, the decision to pay zakat and the trust of the community. The aim is to increase opportunities for the national zakat financial system carried out by the Central National Zakat Amil Agency (BAZNAS) to support the ummah's economy. A case study research design with a quantitative approach guided the research. Outer model analysis with the help of Smart PLS was used to identify scores for research variable indicators. The four findings are as follows: the role of government through technological indicators needs to be improved for better zakat management, GCG through effectiveness and efficiency indicators in processes and institutions needs to produce output that can meet community needs while making the best use of resources, high public trust through a dynamic relationship between Amil Zakat, OPZ, and the public must be created as well as possible, and the decision to pay zakat through increasing technological competence plays an important role in supporting zakat collection strategies, especially those based on digitalization. Thus, it can be concluded that based on Muzzaki's perception of zakat collection strategies, the four main indicators with the highest scores for each variable can increase the opportunity for the national zakat financial system to contribute to supporting the ummah's economy. The government in collaboration with BAZNAS needs to pay serious attention to strategic efforts to increase public trust in BAZNAS, especially through word-of-mouth promotion strategies, outreach, education, implementation of information technology, and also reducing high operational costs by emphasizing efficiency and good management.
