Abstract

This research aims to produce a TIMSS characterized math problems that are valid and reliable. The method of this research is Design Research. The sample of this study were 31 students of SMP Negeri 1 Inderalaya. The procedure of this study through the stages of Preliminary Evaluation and Formative Evaluation. Based on the results obtained 7 of TIMSS characterized with characteristics (1) using real-life contexts, (2) using characteristics of TIMSS, and (3) the type of problem-solving that problem logically and empirically valid  and reliable. Valid logically be fulfilled from the results of the assessment validator, where the validator comment on the terms of the content, construct, and  language. Valid empirically criteria for both internally for items validity and externally for the whole items validity. Items also expressed reliable with a high level of confidence as the test instrument through items with the analysis result reliability coefficient of 0,703.

Abstract

This study aimed to produce a set of PISA-like mathematics problems content of uncertainty and data using long jump context in Asian Games that were valid, practical and had potential effects on the ability of the students’ mathematical literacy. This study used the design research method of development studies type in two stages, preliminary and formative evaluation. The subject of this study involved 34 students of Senior High School. The result of this study was a set of PISA-like mathematics problems using long jump context in Asian Games which were valid, practical, and had potential effects. The result of students’ answer analysis showed some strategies and arguments used by students. In question 1, 3 out of 34 students were involved in representation, reasoning and argument ability, 31 out of 34 students were involved in reasoning and argument ability. In question 2, 30 out of 34 students were involved in representation and reasoning and argument ability, and 4 out of 34 students were involved in communication, representation, reasoning and argument ability. Also, using the PISA-like mathematics problems with long jump context made students more interested and active during the learning process.

Abstract

Intisari : Menurunkan angka kematian bayi dimulai sejak antenatal care dan berlanjut pada penanganan intranatal yang baik. Penegakan diagnosa yang akurat terjadinya ketuban pecah dini dapat mencegah komplikasi lebih lanjut pada ibu dan janin. Nilai basa pada cairan ketuban merupakan kunci dalam menegakkan diagnosa ketuban pecah dini, penggunakan lakmus test adalah pengukuran kadar basa yang umum digunakan, pada pengukuran dengan metode ini perubahan warna lakmus tidak jelas pada air ketuban responden nomer 3 dan nomer 5. Pengukuran banding yang dilakukan pada 5 responden menggunakan pH meter merk nutron seri PH-009-A dengan mengukur cairan ketuban responden yang sama, didapat hasil berturut – turut sebagai berikut nilai pH 8.1 pada responden pertama, pH 8.3 pada responden nomer dua, pH 7.4 pada responden nomer tiga, pH 8.7 pada responden nomor empat, dan pH 8.0 pada responden nomor lima. lakmus test menunjukan perubahan warna samar pada nilai pH 7.4 dan nilai pH 8.0. Kesimpulan teoritik melalui litelatur review menjelaskan bahwa pengukuran pH yang akurat dapat memberikan interprestasi data sebagai berikut : Usia Kehamilan, kadar surfactant yang menunjukan tingkat kematangan janin, usia kehamilan, komplikasi intrauterine seperti fetal distress dan infeksi intrauterine

Abstract

This study aims to develop physics e-learning to improve students' science literacy skills at SMAN 3 Lapandewa. This research uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The analysis stage involves conducting observations and in-depth interviews at school; the design stage involves designing the initial e-learning product; and the development stage involves developing the e-learning product. The implementation stage involves implementing the developed product, while the final stage involves evaluating the product and its impact on learning outcomes. The determination of research samples involves the use of random sampling techniques and a specific research design. Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research sample amounted to 25 respondents in the control class and 29 respondents in the experimental class. Three validators declared the analysis of science literacy-based teaching materials on temperature and heat feasible, citing easy-to-understand criteria with an average readability of 74.11%. The increase in science literacy skills of students who use science literacy-based teaching materials is higher than that of students who use teaching materials used at school. The increase in science literacy skills among students who use science literacy-based teaching materials is 0.63, compared to 0.38 for students who use traditional school books. Therefore, we can conclude that e-learning enhances students' science literacy abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know Work Discipline and Work Environment influence Employee Performance at Class 1 Immigration Offices Non TPI Serang. The data collection method used in this study was using descriptive quantitative, the population in this study were all employees of the Immigration Class I Non TPI Serang totaling 57, the sample used was 57 employees. Data collection techniques used by giving questionnaires. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis processed on SPSS 26.0. The results showed that Work Discipline obtained a tcount value of 1.349 < ttable 2.004 significance value (0.183 > 0.05). The work environment obtained a tcount of 3,051 > ttable of 2,004. with a significance value (0.023 <0.05). Work Discipline and Work Environment obtained an Fcount of 18,639 > Ftable 3.17. The conclusion of this study is that work discipline and work environment affect employee performance, which means work discipline and work environment are two important factors that can affect employee performance at Class I Immigration Office Non TPI Serang

Abstract

Although research on the relationship between trust and engagement with organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) has been extensively explored, the connection between these variables in the context of the chemical industry remains underexplored. The aim of this study is to examine the influence of trust on OCB, the impact of engagement on OCB, and the combined effects of trust and engagement on OCB in the Chemical Manufacturing Sector in Indonesia. This research employs a quantitative associative approach. The sample comprises 249 employees from manufacturing companies in the city of Cilegon, Indonesia, selected through proportional stratified random sampling techniques. The data analysis technique employed is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 26. The findings of this study reveal that trust has a significant positive influence on OCB, engagement has a significant positive impact on OCB, and both trust and engagement collectively exert a significant positive influence on OCB in the Chemical Manufacturing Sector in Indonesia. The results of this research contribute to providing insights for chemical manufacturing companies in Indonesia to enhance the quality of their employees in achieving OCB principles.

Abstract

Employee performance is one of the things that can make a company develop or not, work motivation and work discipline are factors that can affect employee performance. The aim is to determine the effect of work motivation and work discipline on the performance of production employees at PT. Lima Putra Contrindo Cikande-Serang either partially or simultaneously. This research method uses associative quantitative methods with non-probability sampling methods with a population of 120 respondents while a sample of 55 respondents is calculated from the slovin formula, and this research was processed using the SPSS Version 26 application. The results of this study stated that (H1) the significance value was 0.013 <0.05 and the tcount> ttable or 2.568 > 1.674 then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected (H2) the significance value was 0.010 <0.05 and the tcount> ttable or 6.030 > 1.674 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected (H3) significance value is 0.000 <0.05 and Fcount > Ftable, (41,565 > 3.18) then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The conclusion in this study can be concluded that (H1) There is an influence between the independent variables of motivation on employee performance (H2) There is an influence between the independent variables of work discipline on employee performance (H3) There is an influence between the independent variables of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Produce a Google Sites-based e-book using STEM-PBL model on sound wave material based on improving students' mathematical literacy and critical thinking; 2) Understand the practicality of Google Sites-based e-books using STEM-PBL model to sound wave material based on increasing students' mathematical literacy and critical thinking; 3) To find out the effectiveness of Google Sites-based e-books using STEM-PBL model to sound wave material based on increasing students' literacy and critical thinking. This research used ADDIE development model and was conducted at SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta. The number of subjects in this research was 250 students for the empirical test, 36 students for the limited trial, and 108 students for the extensive trial. The research instrument consists of product assessment sheet, practicality questionnaire, mathematical literacy and critical thinking test. The results show that: 1) e-book media based on google sites with STEM-PBL model developed worthy to be used in high school physics learning in particular sound wave material with good category by expert validator; 2) e-Book media with Google sites based on STEM-PBL model developed practically used in learning with the practical category; 3) e-books media with google sites based on STEM-PBL model was effective to enhance mathematical literacy and critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning by using a problem-based learning model. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The data for this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the problem-based learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 48.71%, the first cycle 66.39% and in the second cycle it increased to 89.66%. Thus, the use of problem-based learning models can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning using problem-based learning. This research is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this research is elementary school students. The data of this study was obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze the learning activities of teachers and students. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with research success indicators. The results of the study show that problem-based learning can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completeness in each cycle with details of 40.19% in the pre-cycle, 73.37% in the first cycle and 89.52% in the second cycle. Thus, the use of problem-based learning can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.
