Abstract

This study investigates the influence of attention-seeking behavior and loneliness on problematic social media use among early adults who are active social media users in the Jabodetabek area. A total of 201 participants were selected through self-selected surveys. The instruments used include the Bergen Social Media Addiction Scale (BSMAS) for measuring problematic social media use, the Attention-Seeking Scale for assessing attention-seeking behavior, and the UCLA Loneliness Scale version 3 for evaluating loneliness. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that attention-seeking behavior and loneliness have a significant impact on problematic social media use, with an R² of 0.661, indicating a 66.1% contribution. The data analysis showed that attention-seeking behavior (p-value < 0.001, t = 8.185) and loneliness (p-value < 0.001, t = 6.086) both significantly influence problematic social media use. In conclusion, both attention-seeking behavior and loneliness significantly contribute to problematic social media use among early adults in Jabodetabek.

Abstract

Gerupuk Hamlet, which is 100 m from the sea, is at great risk of natural disasters, especially tsunamis. Therefore, the Gerupuk Hamlet community's understanding of inclusive disaster mitigation is a necessity. Therefore, the Sengkol II Village KKN Team and TSBD conducted outreach regarding disaster recognition, prevention, disaster mitigation (evacuation routes and safe points), and disaster preparedness. This socialization was carried out with the aim of increasing the knowledge and understanding of the Gerupuk Hamlet community regarding disaster mitigation so that the community becomes more responsive to the disaster risks they face. The socialization method used is presentation of material and practice of making evacuation route maps along with disaster safe points. The socialization was considered successful because the participants who attended exceeded the target, namely 37 people. Apart from that, the people of Gerupuk Hamlet are increasingly aware of disaster mitigation through the outreach carried out. This is proven by the community's ability to create maps of evacuation routes and disaster safe points after presenting the material.

Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of information technology in the current era of globalization cannot be avoided anymore its influence on the world of education. Global demands require the world of education to always adapt technological developments of efforts to improve the quality of education. This study aims to determine the efferctiveness of the use of digital technology through the canva application in increasing the motivation to learn science in fifth grade students of SDN 61 Karara Bima City. This research is a classroom action research of the classroom assessment. The instruments used to collect data are observation sheets for the implementation of learning (teacher activities), observation sheets for student activities, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests in each cycle. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis is used to determine student learning outcomes while qualitative analysis is used to deremine the results od student activity observations. The results of the study showed that learning using digital technology based media through the canva application can increase the learning motivation of fifth grade students of state elementary school 61 Karara Bima City. This can be seen from the fifth grade students of state elementary school 61 Karara Bima City in cycle one of 63,64 % and in cycle two the average student leraning outcomes increased to 90,90 %. Students activity in the learning process also increased, although based on the students activity sheet in cycle one several obstacles were still felt cycle two showet significant improvement.

Abstract

Student engagement in learning is a crucial indicator of the success of the teaching and learning process. However, many students tend to remain passive during lessons. One approach that can enhance student engagement is Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). This study aims to explore the implementation of CTL and its impact on increasing student engagement through a narrative literature review (NLR). The literature review was conducted by analyzing various scholarly sources discussing the application of CTL in learning. The findings indicate that CTL consists of several key components, namely constructivism, questioning, inquiry, learning community, modeling, reflection, and authentic assessment. These components significantly contribute to increasing student participation, fostering critical thinking, and enhancing learning motivation. Additionally, CTL-based learning strengthens students’ social skills through more effective interaction and collaboration. Therefore, CTL serves as a relevant instructional strategy for educators in creating a more interactive, meaningful, and contextual learning environment

Abstract

Kasus peredaran uang palsu merupakan masalah yang cukup serius bagi suatu negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem identifikasi keaslian uang kertas Rupiah menggunakan K-Means Clustering yang diintegrasikan dengan teknik pengolahan citra digital dengan memanfaatkan 2 fitur visual utama yaitu Local Binary Pattern (LBP) dan Laplacian of Gaussian (LoG) sebagai parameter analisis. Metode yang digunakan yaitu algoritma K-Means Clustering yang dipilih karena efisien dalam mengelompokkan data citra berdasarkan pola tekstur dan tepi. Sistem ditargetkan mencapai akurasi 80%, namun hasil pengujian menunjukkan performa dibawah target. Berdasarkan hipotesa hasil penelitian pada sistem identifikasi keaslian uang kertas menggunakan K-Means Clustering dengan menggabungkan kedua fitur yang terintegrasi dengan teknik pengolahan citra digital, dapat ditarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut: Sistem yang dikembangkan belum berhasil mencapai target akurasi 80% yang ditetapkan dalam tujuan penelitian. Akurasi tertinggi yang diperoleh adalah 70.00% pada pengujian citra keseluruhan. Sedangkan akurasi terendah adalah 53.33% pada pengujian citra ROI. Penggabungan dua fitur visual utama Local Binary Pattern (LBP) dan Laplacian of Gaussian (LoG) menunjukkan karakteristik yang berbeda untuk uang asli dan palsu. Uang asli cenderung memiliki nilai Mean LBP sekitar 0.65 yang menunjukkan konsistensi teksutr, sedangkan uang palsu menunjukkan Edge Density yang relatif tinggi dibanding uang asli, mengindikasikan variasi tepi yang lebih besar. Algoritma K-Means Clustering dapat membedakan uang asli dan palsu berdasarkan kombinasi fitur yang diesktraksi, namun tingkat akurasi yang dihasilkan masih dibawah ekspetasi. Pengujian pada citra keseluruhan memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan ROI, sehingga pemilihan area analisis memengaruhi performa sistem.

Abstract

Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that not only impacts metabolic aspects but also multidimensionally impacts patients' quality of life. This study aims to analyze the effect of foot exercise intervention on quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, as a non-pharmacological approach that is easily implemented in care practices. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test approach. Respondents consisted of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who met the inclusion criteria and the WHOQOL-BREF quality of life measurement instrument. The foot exercise intervention was delivered in a structured manner for 2 weeks, and analysis was performed to compare changes before and after the intervention using an independent t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in patients' quality of life after the foot exercise intervention, with a p-value of 0.000. This improvement was seen in various domains, particularly physical and psychological aspects. Physiologically, the improvement in quality of life was influenced by changes in peripheral circulation, glycemic control, and reduced neuropathic pain. Psychologically, physical activity contributed to improved mood, self-confidence, and the ability to adapt to chronic illness. Overall, foot exercise has been shown to be an effective non-pharmacological intervention in improving the quality of life of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of integrating physical activity into evidence-based care. This intervention contributes not only to clinical aspects but also to improving patients' holistic well-being.   ABSTRAK Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2 merupakan penyakit kronis yang tidak hanya berdampak pada aspek metabolik, tetapi juga memengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien secara multidimensional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di puskesmas adanya peningkatan kasus DM serta  didasarkan pada ketersediaan populasi yang relevan serta kemudahan dalam implementasi intervensi nonfarmakologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh intervensi senam kaki terhadap kualitas hidup pada pasien Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2, sebagai salah satu pendekatan nonfarmakologis yang mudah diterapkan dalam praktik keperawatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental dengan pendekatan pre-test dan post-test control group. Responden terdiri dari pasien Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2 yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi, instrumen pengukuran kualitas hidup WHOQOL-BREF. Intervensi senam kaki diberikan secara terstruktur selama 2 minggu, dan analisis dilakukan untuk membandingkan perubahan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dengan t-test independent. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan kualitas hidup pasien setelah diberikan intervensi senam kaki dengan nilai p-value 0,000. Peningkatan ini terlihat pada berbagai domain, terutama aspek fisik dan psikologis. Secara fisiologis, perbaikan kualitas hidup dipengaruhi oleh peningkatan sirkulasi perifer, kontrol glikemik, serta penurunan nyeri neuropatik. Secara psikologis, aktivitas fisik berkontribusi pada peningkatan suasana hati, kepercayaan diri, dan kemampuan adaptasi terhadap penyakit kronis. Secara keseluruhan, senam kaki terbukti sebagai intervensi nonfarmakologis yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya integrasi aktivitas fisik dalam praktik keperawatan berbasis bukti. Intervensi ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada aspek klinis, tetapi juga pada peningkatan kesejahteraan holistik pasien.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis, Pengaruh penempatan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening Pada PT Ris Investindo Sarana Kec.Lubuk Begalung Padang, Pengaruh kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada PT Ris Investindo Sarana Kec.Lubuk Begalung Padang, Pengaruh penempatan kerja dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada PT Ris Investindo Sarana Kec.Lubuk Begalung Padang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan riset kepustakaan, dan penelitian lapangan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT Ris Investindo Sarana dengan jumlah 30 orang, dengan teknik total sampling. Metode analisis adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis path, serta uji hipotesis dengan uji-t dan uji sobel test. Hasil analisis yaitu Penempatan kerja secara langsung berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan pada PT Ris Investindo Sarana, kompensasi secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan pada PT Ris Investindo Sarana, penempatan kerja secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Ris Investindo Sarana, kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Ris Investindo Sarana, kepuasan kerja secara langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Ris Investindo Sarana, penempatan kerja secara langsung berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada karyawan PT Ris Investindo Sarana.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a strategic role in shaping students' personalities and characters in line with Islamic values, not just limited to cognitive aspects. However, the main challenge arises in students' ability to implement and actualize these values in everyday life. Therefore, a learning strategy is needed that can encourage students to build understanding through direct experience and reflection in real contexts. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) strategies by Islamic Religious Education teachers in internalizing virtuous character in students at SMA Negeri 1 Kajen. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with structured interviews as the data collection technique. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions according to the Miles and Huberman model. Based on the results of the study, the CTL strategy was implemented through strengthening real-world practices, analyzing actual phenomena, and habituating positive activities such as regular worship and environmental cleanliness. Although there were obstacles in the form of a 25% planning discrepancy due to the dynamics of adolescent social interactions and time constraints, this strategy proved effective in transforming religious theory into real-life student behavior. It can be concluded that the implementation of the CTL strategy significantly facilitates student character development by integrating knowledge, attitudes, and skills. This approach ensures that Islamic values are more firmly embedded through direct experiences relevant to everyday life.
