Abstract

The current regional autonomy is a new thing for every region in Indonesia, because the autonomy proclaimed through Law Number 32 Year 2004 gives more freedom for the region to express itself towards the direction of development through empowering the local community itself. the complexity of the problems that exist in District of Lanny Jaya, such as in efforts to improve community welfare and coupled with physical development that must be carried out by the District of Lanny Jaya Government, in order to improve services to the community. The purpose of this study is the influence of the strategic environment, organizational culture and strategic planning on the performance of public organizations in the Office of Community Empowerment and Village District of Lanny Jaya Papua of Province Government. The sample of this study was 100 residents District of Lanny Jaya. The research data in the form of primary data obtained through questionnaires, while secondary data obtained from the community on District of Lanny Jaya. The analytical tool used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that, (1) strategic environment has a significant positive effect on strategic planning (2) organizational culture has a significant positive effect on strategic planning (3) strategic environment has a non-significant effect on organizational performance (4) organizational culture has a significant positive effect on performance organization (5) strategic planning has a significant positive effect on organizational performance. DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/jdg.v10i2.2280

Abstract

PT. Aerofood ACS Kota Surabaya adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam pelayanan jasa boga penerbangan garuda. Yang berada di daerah Jawa Timur yang beralamat lengkap di Jl. Sedati Kulon, Segoro Tambak, Kecamatan Sedati, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur.PT. Aerofood ACS Kota Surabaya mengharapkan setiap pegawai dapat menjalankan tugasnya. Sehingga dengan memberikan motivasi dan kompensasi membuat karyawan semangat dan bertahan di PT.Aerofood ACS Cabang Kota Surabaya.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif dan metode statistik analisis regresi linier berganda. Data primer pada penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner menggunakan skala pengukuran likert. Data yang terkumpul diolah dengan menggunakan program komputer SPSS For Window versi 22.00.Penelitian ini menggunakan 83 responden sebagai sampel penelitian yang diambil berdasarkan karyawan PT. Aerofood ACS Kota Surabaya.Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis regresi linier berganda menunjukkan bahwa variabel motivasi dan kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap retensi karyawan pada PT. Aerofood ACS Kota Surabaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris, apakah variabel iklim organisasi yang terdiri dari struktur, tanggung jawab, imbalan, resiko, kehangatan, dukungan standar, konflik, identitas secara bersama-sama mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan PT. Bhakti Adi Sentosa Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini berhasil mendukung hipotesis pertama, yaitu bahwa variabel iklim organisasi yang terdiri dari struktur, tanggung jawab, imbalan, resiko, kehangatan, dukungan, standar, konflik, identitas, secara bersama-sama mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan di PT.Bhakti Adi Sentosa Surabaya, dilihat dari Uji F yang tingkat signifikansinya lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000) serta pengujian yang dilakukan terhadap hipotesis kedua memberikan hasil yang tidak mendukung hipotesis tersebut. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa identitas merupakan variabel dalam iklim organisasasi yang berpengaruh dominan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan PT.Bhakti Adi Sentosa Surabaya dilihat dari besar koefisien regresinya (0,195).

Abstract

PN Veteran East Java is one of the Indonesian state universities located in Surabaya, East Java. In 2014, UPN "Veteran" East Java underwent a change in institutional status from a private university to a state university. Employee performance tends not to meet the desired targets. The General Section (Rectorate) of UPN Veterans East Java, targets the performance of employees to reach at least 75%. This is what causes employees to experience a lot of stress because employees have to meet targets and work under pressure. So based on the existing problems, the researcher is interested in conducting research entitled: "The Influence of the Work Environment and Work Stress on the Performance of General Section employees (Rectorate) at UPN Veterans East Java".This type of research uses quantitative research. The sample in this study were all employees of the General Section (Rectorate) at UPN Veterans East Java. The sampling technique uses the slovin formula. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques usingClassical Assumption Test, Normality Test, Multicollinearity Test, Linearity Test.Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Coefficient Delta Test (∆r2).The results of the study indicate that there is a positive influence of perceptions of the work environment on employee performance. This is evidenced by the statistical results of the t test for work environment variables with a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05), with a calculated t value of 6.834 greater than t table 1.999 (-6.834 <1.999) and a coefficient regression has a positive value of 0.676. The results of this study indicate that there is a negative effect of work stress on employee performance. This is evidenced by the statistical results of the t test for the work stress variable with a significance value of 0.544 greater than 0.05 (0.544> 0.05), with a calculated t value of 0.61 less than t table 1.999 (0.61 <1.999 ) and the regression coefficient has a negative value of 0.092.

Abstract

This research reveals that the current demands on tertiary institutions and faculties are not only limited to academic achievement, but also include other aspects such as accountability, proof of achievement, assessment, quality certification, and success of alumni in getting relevant jobs. Therefore, managers of educational institutions need to become more professional in providing educational services to their students. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method using a survey through questionnaires as a data collection tool. Correlational statistical analysis was used to examine the relationship between the variables studied. Based on the results of the Hypothesis test on the Determinant Coefficient the resulting R number is 0.539. This shows that the correlation or relationship between student attitudes towards student satisfaction (Dependent Variable) and the independent variables (Physical Evidence Variables, reliability and responsiveness) is 53.9%. The coefficient of determination or adjusted R squre that is produced is 0.268 or 26.8 %. But for the number of independent variables more than 2 (in this case 3) it is better to use the R value of 53.9%. This means that the magnitude of the influence of physical evidence, reliability and responsiveness on student satisfaction in the faculties of economics and business is 53.9% while the remaining is 46.1%. Test results = F get a calculated F value of 12,854 which fulfills the requirements greater than the f table value of 2.70, and a sig value of 0,000 is obtained. sig. value which is obtained < ɑ = 0.05 which means that physical evidence, reliability and responsiveness simultaneously have a significant effect on student satisfaction in the undergraduate program at the Faculty of Economics. In the T test Significant Test Responsiveness to Student Satisfaction. In the significant test between responsiveness and student satisfaction, a sig value was obtained. 0.047 > 0.05. Thus Responsiveness to student satisfaction can be said to have an effect. Significant test of physical evidence with student satisfaction. Significant test between Physical Evidence Variable and student satisfaction, then obtained sig.0.015. >0.05. This proves the effect of the variable Physical Evidence on student satisfaction. The test is significant between reliability and student satisfaction. In a significant test between the reliability variable and student satisfaction, the sig value is obtained. 0.022 <0, 05 means a significant effect between reliability and student satisfaction. based on the significance value (Sig.) obtained of 0.000, which is greater than the significance level value α = 0.05. In addition, it was also found that the calculated F value was 12,854, which was greater than the table F value of 2.70. This shows that physical evidence, reliability, and responsiveness simultaneously have a significant effect on student satisfaction. Abstract

 Penulisan makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan serta dampaknya pada kinerja perusahhan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian penjelasan (explanatory research) yang akan membuktikan hubungan kausal antara variable bebas (independent variable) yaitu variable motivasi kerja, variable kepemimpinan, dan variable budaya organisasi; variable antara (intervening variable) yaitu variable kepuasan kerja karyawan; dan variable terikat (dependent variable) yaitu kinerja perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, kepemimpinan berpengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan motivasi kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan, budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan, kepuasaan kerja karyawan berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan oleh para dosen STIE YAPAN Surabaya yang bekerjasama dengan SMK Perdana 1 Surabaya yang menjadi mitra dalam kegiatan ini. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan berupa penyuluhan materi manajemen humas dan kepegawaian kepada siswa SMK Perdana 1 Surabaya, khususnya kelas X dan XI jurusan Otomatisasi dan Tata Kelola Perkantoran (OTKP). Materi manajemen humas dan kepegawaian sangat penting dipelajari supaya hubungan Masyarakat dan kepegawaian dalam suatu organisasi berjalan dengan baik. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam empat sesi dalam satu bulan pada dua kelas tersebut. Kegiatan ini berjalan dengan baik dan semua siswa memperhatikan materi yang telah dipaparkan oleh para dosen. Menurut luaran kuesioner yang diberikan ke siswa, maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa rata – rata siswa menyatakan sangat baik dalam hal keramahan dosen terhadap siswa, serta menilai baik dalam hal manfaat dan kejelasan materi yang disampaikan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat dilaksanakan lagi dengan tema yang berbeda dan bisa meningkatkan pengetahuan para siswa dan pemegang kepentingan yang berhubungan dengan sekolah tersebut.

Abstract

One of the main contributions of HR technology is to enhance HR processes' efficiency through the adoption of integrated human resource management systems. With this system, organizations can reduce administrative errors, expedite decision-making, and enhance visibility into employee data. This research aims to contribute by providing a study of the latest science on the success of HR technology implementation, which relies not only on the technology itself but also on the organization's ability to change culture and work processes. In this study, a literature approach is used to gather information and data from various sources relevant to the issues at hand. The analysis conducted finds that companies need to harness the potential of HR technology to achieve higher efficiency and remain competitive in an increasingly tight global market. By utilizing sophisticated and integrated HR management systems, companies can reduce operational costs, increase productivity, and achieve sustainable competitive advantages. It's crucial for management to ensure that the use of this technology not only yields operational efficiency but also supports long-term growth and innovation. By understanding the crucial role of HR technology in enhancing productivity and managing challenges associated with its implementation, companies can fully leverage its potential to achieve their business goals. Changes in HR management in the technology era offer significant opportunities for companies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and employee experience. Abstract

Digital technologies enable the adoption of more efficient working models, such as process automation, predictive analytics for better decision making, and the use of digital platforms for employee development and performance management. This study aims to investigate employee perceptions and experiences of digital transformation in the context of challenges and opportunities at the company PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (CP) Food. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a data collection approach through questionnaires and observations. The questionnaire was designed to collect employee responses on various aspects of digital transformation in terms of opportunities and challenges. Using a purposive sampling approach, which is a sampling method in which the researcher deliberately selects certain participants or sample units based on certain characteristics or criteria that are considered relevant to the research objectives. The results showed that employees have a positive view of digital transformation at the company PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (CP) Food. Employees see it as an opportunity for career development and professional growth, and feel supported in developing their digital skills. A work culture that supports collaboration, innovation, and creativity is also considered important in creating a productive and dynamic work environment. The integration of digital technology is considered successful by employees, indicating that the company has successfully implemented technology in daily work processes well. This research provides valuable insights into how digital transformation affects employee perceptions and experiences in the work environment. The implications of these findings can be used by companies to design more effective human resource management strategies to face the challenges and opportunities in the evolving digital economy.

Abstract

Employee performance is critical to organizational success, aligning with strategic goals, customer satisfaction, and economic impact. It reflects the outcomes achieved by individuals or groups within an organization, crucial for productivity and sustainability amidst competitive environments. This study investigates the impact of work motivation, leadership, and work discipline on employee performance at PT Petronika, a Dioctyl Phthalate manufacturer that faces challenges linked to motivation, leadership, and discipline. The research aims to analyze these factors among 73 HRD employees using a quantitative approach, specifically Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Primary data, gathered through interviews and questionnaires, is complemented by secondary data from company records and literature. Results indicate that motivation significantly enhances employee performance (p = 0.002), while work discipline also plays a crucial role (p = 0.000). However, leadership shows inconsistent impact on performance (p = 0.784), highlighting complexities in its influence. The study concludes that improving motivation and reinforcing work discipline are essential for enhancing employee performance at PT Petronika. Further research is recommended to delve deeper into the dynamics of leadership within organizational contexts.
