Abstract

This study examines the influence of work motivation and work environment on employee performance within organizational contexts. The research focuses on CV Elsa Cahya in Gresik, involving all 30 employees as respondents through a saturated sampling technique. A quantitative approach was adopted, and data were gathered using structured questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS, which included descriptive analysis, instrument validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that both work motivation and work environment positively affect employee performance. However, only the work environment variable was statistically significant in the partial test, with a standardized beta coefficient of 0.827, making it the dominant factor compared to work motivation. The F-test indicates that the combination of both variables significantly explains 78.5% of the variance in employee performance. The regression analysis reveals that improvements in the work environment yield greater gains in performance compared to work motivation alone. The findings of this study suggest that the quality of the work environment plays a crucial role in enhancing employee productivity, making it a key consideration for organizational development and human resource strategies.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve women workers' understanding of labor rights and reproductive health in the industrial environment of Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. The method used was participatory action research (PAR) involving 80 core participants representing women's organizations, labor unions, and CSR units of local industrial companies. The activities were carried out through interactive lectures, group discussions, case simulations, and role-plays designed to address the limitations of legal and health literacy among women workers. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge, from an average pre-test score of 56.4 to 87.6 in the post-test, an increase of 31.2 points. In addition, this activity also identified key issues, namely low understanding of labor rights, the lack of reproductive health facilities in the workplace, and the socio-cultural stigma that makes reproductive issues considered taboo. To ensure the program's sustainability, the Sidoarjo Women's Workers Forum was established as a cross-organizational advocacy platform focused on promoting workers' rights, advocating for the provision of lactation rooms, and strengthening gender advocacy units within labor unions. Overall, this activity successfully achieved more than 90% of its target outputs and made a significant contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the areas of gender equality and decent work. The implication of this activity is the need for similar programs to be replicated in other industrial areas with multi-stakeholder support to strengthen the protection of women workers' rights in Indonesia.

Abstract

Organizational innovation has become a critical determinant of competitiveness in modern manufacturing firms, particularly in the era of digital transformation and dynamic market pressure. This study examines the influence of employee creativity and motivation on organizational innovation within the broader framework of human resource management. Using a quantitative associative approach, data were collected from 85 employees selected through proportionate stratified random sampling from a workforce of 500 employees in a large-scale manufacturing company. Survey responses were measured using a Likert-scale instrument, and multiple linear regression analysis was performed using SPSS version 26. The empirical results show that employee creativity significantly predicts organizational innovation (β = 0.465, p < 0.001), indicating that creative employees tend to generate novel ideas and contribute to innovation-driven practices. Motivation also demonstrates a significant positive effect (β = 0.389, p < 0.001), suggesting that motivated employees are more engaged in innovative behavior and improvement initiatives. Together, creativity and motivation account for 68.2% of the variance in organizational innovation (R² = 0.682), confirming their synergistic role as key drivers of innovation capability. The study highlights important implications for human resource management, emphasizing the need for strategic policies that nurture creativity, strengthen intrinsic motivation, and reward innovative contributions to sustain organizational competitiveness.
