Abstract

This article explores the mapping of qualifications in librarian recruitment in Indonesia. The objectives of mapping qualifications in librarian recruitment in Indonesia: (1) determine the level of librarian qualifications based on education level; (2) reviewing the qualification standards for diploma level librarians in Indonesia; (3) reviewing the qualification standards for librarians at undergraduate education level in Indonesia. This research method was carried out through three strategic stages, namely (1) data collection (2) data analysis; and (presentation of the results of data analysis (reporting). Data collection was carried out using the indexation method through recruitment data for librarians for state and private institutions in Indonesia for the last three years. Research data analysis was carried out descriptively quantitative and qualitative. The research results showed variations in the needs of Library Science graduates between CPNS and CPPPK recruitment, with diploma III level being more dominant in CPPPK, while strata 1 is more dominant in CPNS; in private agencies, job opportunities vary reflecting the complexity of job demands, emphasizing the importance of understanding and mapping qualifications in building a strong foundation for growth, innovation and sustainability in the library sector, providing guidance for prospective students and stakeholders.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi fenomena lulusan Ilmu Perpustakaan yang bekerja di bidang kearsipan di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten/Kota. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menginvestigasi kendala yang dihadapi oleh lulusan Ilmu Perpustakaan dalam pekerjaannya sebagai arsiparis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Objek penelitian ini adalah Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Kabupaten/Kota yang terdapat di lingkungan provinsi Sumatera Utara, yakni Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara dan Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Kota Tebing Tinggi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yakni wawancara dengan informan dan observasi serta data sekunder yakni buku dan jurnal. Informan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 5 orang. Pemilihan informan dilakukan melalui purposive sampling dengan kriteria pegawai bidang kearsipan yang memiliki kualifikasi pendidikan S-1 Ilmu Perpustakaan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam analisis data adalah yakni pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pegawai lulusan Ilmu Perpustakaan mengalami kendala dalam mengelola arsip. Kendala yang ditemukan antara lain: Sumber Daya Manusia masih kurang, tumpukan arsip, kompetensi pegawai, serta sarana dan prasarana belum memadai. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut yakni melalui ikut serta dalam pelatihan dan koordinasi dengan atasan di tempat kerja.

Abstract

Budaya Alam Minangkabau (BAM) sebagai Mata Pelajaran Muatan Lokal diimplementasikan kembali pada Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai Mata Pelajaran Keminangkabauan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melengkapi tulisan dari Afrilya dkk., (2020) yang menyatakan faktor penyebab diberhentikannya BAM di Sumatera Barat, sehingga diperlukan solusi untuk mengatasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Sumber utama penelitian ini adalah sepuluh literatur yang diperoleh dari platform elektronik yang terindeks sinta, seperti Portal Garuda, Google Scholar, dan Direct of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) yang publish pada tahun 2019 sampai 2023. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Mata Pelajaran Keminangkabauan membutuhkan perhatian: 1) Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Barat 2) tim pengembangan kurikulum tingkat daerah 3) sekolah dan komite 4) Guru 5) Perguruan Tinggi Sumatera Barat 6) Balai Besar Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan (BBPMP) Sumatera Barat dan 7) tokoh masyarakat seperti Lembaga Kerapatan Adat Alam Minangkabau (LKAAM). Penyediaan sarana dan prasarana pendukung merupakan tindakan yang dapat dilakukan sekolah dan komite untuk berhasil mengimplementasikan mata pelajaran Keminangkabauan dalam kurikulum Merdeka. Guru Keminangkabauan yang berpartisipasi aktif dalam MGMP/KKG dapat memperluas pandangan dan pengetahuannya dalam berbagai hal. Selain itu, juga perlu bekerja sama dengan Perguruan Tinggi, BBPMP dan LKAAM sebagai Lembaga yang memberikan sarana untuk melestarikan budaya dan Adat Minangkabau.

Abstract

Talasemia merupakan salah satu gangguan darah genetik yang paling umum ditemukan di berbagai belahan dunia termasuk di Indonesia. Anak-anak yang hidup dengan talasemia sering menghadapi tantangan kesehatan yang signifikan termasuk kebutuhan untuk menjalani transfusi darah rutin dan pengobatan yang dapat berdampak terhadap kehidupan mereka. Gangguan kecemasan penyandang talasemia diidentifikasi sebagai masalah psikologis yang umum dialami anak yang dapat mempengaruhi kehidupan anak. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran kecemasan pada pasien anak peyandang  talasemia mayor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 51 pasien yang berada di rentang usia 6-18 tahun yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data primer menggunakan kuesioner RCMAS (Revised Childrens Manifest Anxiety Scale). Pengolahan data menggunakan analisis distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pasien yang memiliki kecemasan normal sebanyak 31 (72,5%) dan kecemasan klinis sebanyak 14 (27,5%). Penelitian ini menunjukkan sebagian besar kecemasan pasien talasemia mayor berada pada tingkat kecemasan normal.

Abstract

The gap in information accessibility has faded the community's tradition of disseminating knowledge, especially in spreading Islamic teachings. The West Sumatra Provincial Government has revitalized the movement “kembali ka surau” to preserve local traditions in spreading Islamic teachings, including in Agam Regency. Currently, Islamic teachings are still widely conveyed orally in several mosques. Information accessibility is needed to support more effective and sustainable religious learning. In Minangkabau society, information dissemination is fundamental to religious life, with the mosque as its center. This article explored how local wisdom was disseminated through the routine wirid tradition in two main mosques located in Bukittinggi and Ampek Angkek districts of Agam Regency. This study used a qualitative approach with participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with religious leaders, and literature reviews from January to March 2024. Findings indicated that wirid effectively disseminated religious values and local wisdom through effective communication channels, consistent scheduling, and an interactive social system. Religious leaders acted as opinion leaders and were reinforced through joint lectures, discussions, and social interactions. Social media enhanced the spread of routine wirid activities. Scheduled routines, reading materials, and technological integration further enriched its impact. This integrated model reveals the powerful potential of routine religious activities as a transformative platform for community education, contextual da'wah, and preservation of local Islamic heritage. In conclusion, the wirid routine in Agam Regency is a medium of da’wah and plays a key role in sustaining, spreading, and preservationg local Islamic wisdom in the local community context.

Abstract

Education in this country is still dominated by a uniform national curriculum that does not fully provide space for the individual development of students' talents. This results in many students' potential not being optimally explored because the learning approach does not take into account cultural context and diversity of talents. This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the implementation of a talent-based curriculum integrated with local cultural values in shaping strategies for developing students' talents. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consist of teachers, school principals, and students involved in the implementation of the talent-based curriculum. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, using instruments such as interview guides, observation sheets, and document checklists. Data were analyzed using inductive thematic analysis with steps of coding, categorization, theme identification, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that a talent-based curriculum can be effectively implemented through the integration of local cultural values, particularly the philosophy of “Alam Takambang Jadi Guru.” Teachers act as facilitators and mentors in designing adaptive, collaborative, and contextual learning tailored to students' interests and talents in the fields of art, sports, technical skills, and language. In conclusion, the implementation of a talent-based curriculum integrated with local wisdom can create a holistic and empowering learning environment. This research implies the importance of developing a culture-based education model as an innovative alternative in supporting personalized learning and the development of students' talents.

Abstract

This article is action research as an alternative research method in empowering final-year student paper supervisor teachers. Action research is based on the assumption that research must be linked to change programs in assisted Islamic boarding schools. This research was carried out not only to obtain facts but also to create the desired conditions. Action research can be used effectively in research and action to empower final-year student paper supervisor teachers, because of its nature which emphasises the active participation of supervisor teachers. Through action research, it is possible to produce formulations that are adapted to the conditions of supervising teachers in carrying out efforts to increase information literacy competence in the context of completing final-grade student papers.
