Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of self-efficacy and teacher competence on students’ academic achievement, with learning motivation as a mediating variable. Self-efficacy is defined as students’ belief in their ability to accomplish academic tasks, while teacher competence encompasses pedagogical, professional, social, and personal dimensions that affect instructional quality. The research employed a quantitative associative approach using a descriptive-correlational non-experimental design. The sample consisted of 217 students selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a structured and validated questionnaire tested for reliability. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS application. The results indicate that both self-efficacy and teacher competence have a positive and significant influence on learning motivation, and that learning motivation mediates the relationship between these variables and academic achievement. Furthermore, self-efficacy and teacher competence also exert a direct effect on academic achievement. These findings highlight the importance of enhancing students’ self-efficacy and improving teacher competence in order to foster academic success through students’ intrinsic motivation.

Abstract

Development of Interactive Learning Media ‘METTA’ Based on Deep Learning Approach on Solar System Material. This study aims to develop interactive learning media ‘METTA’ (Getting to Know the Solar System) based on Articulate Storyline with a Deep Learning approach on Solar System material for Grade VI at SD Negeri 2 Suruh. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The validation results showed that the media was very feasible, with a material expert score of 95.45%, media expert score of 97.2%, and language expert score of 91.7%. The practicality of the media was very high based on the responses of 98.33% of teachers and 83.9% of students. The effectiveness test results showed a significant increase in learning outcomes, with an N-Gain of 0.75 (high category). The METTA media was declared highly valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of collaborative learning models, independent learning, and self-confidence on the problem-solving abilities of IPAS students at Pakel 2 Public Elementary School. Using an ex post facto quantitative approach, the research sample consisted of 52 students. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The results showed that simultaneously, the three independent variables had a significant effect on problem-solving skills with a contribution (R2) of 83.4%. Partially, the collaborative learning model was the strongest predictor. These findings indicate the need to integrate collaborative strategies supported by strengthening students' internal character.
