Abstract

 Abstract This study would to determined the creativity of sociology teachers in effort to improve the learning motivation a students of class XI IIS 1 SMA Taman Mulia, Sungai Raya. The purpose of this study was to understand how the creativity of sociology teachers in effort to increase a students to motivation in SMA Taman Mulia Sungai Raya. The analysis of this study were presented in descriptive qualitative. The techniques of data collection in this study were, interviews, observation and documentation. The subject of this study was one of the sociology teachers, and all students at XI IIS. The results of the study suggest istthe teacher's creativity in preparing new teaching material in creating something interesting with dexterity, flexibility, originality and elaboration in systematic learning (materialized), the purpose is clear and the application is also clear, so that will make all students always have motivation to learn. Second,  the teacher's creativity uses a concept map strategy (concept mapping) that involves students in learning and using learning media, so all students can study diligently and diligently. Andfactorsinfluence students learning motivation in accordance with the explanation in students will avoid factors influence learning motivation if they have a creative teacher. Keywords: Learning Motivation, Teacher Creativity

Abstract

AbstractThis study learned to learn about, "using internet-based sociology learning media". The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The source of this research data is the 2015 PPAPK sociology education student FKIP UNTAN. Data collection techniques used were interview techniques and documentation, while the data collection tools used were interview guides and documentation. The analysis in this study was presented in a descriptive qualitative manner using informants as many as 5 people. The problem in this thesis is, "The Utilization of Internet-Based Learning Sociology Media by Teachers MA Pontianak ISLAMIC". With sub-problems 1. What is the process of learning internet-based media in sociology learning by teachers in Pontianak ISLAMIAH MA?!, 2. Does the teacher use the website in making sociology learning material in the MA ISLANDYAH?!. 1. Teachers make use of internet media for the learning process in class to help teachers in finding teaching materials. If the teaching material is provided in the book or completes less or is still incomplete. 2. Teachers make use of the internet consisting of web sites in the learning process with online learning materials, by assigning students to (downlond) the learning material as additional material that supports this material not in the textbook or LKS. Abstract

AbstractThis thesis is titled Analysis of the Role of Teachers Growing Tolerance in Learning Sociology in Class X SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak . The problem in this study is How the Role of Teachers Foster Tolerance Attitudes in Learning in Class X SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method. The form of research is qualitative description. Data collection techniques in this study are: direct communication with data collection tools interview guidelines, direct observation with data collection tools observation sheets, documentary studies with data collection tools school data files. The results of the study are as follows: 1) Sociology teachers provide time to chat with students related to differences and foster an attitude of tolerance. 2) The teacher's role as a mediator, the Sociology Teacher provides an example by establishing good relations and harmony to other teachers. Sociology teachers do not discredit and discredit when teaching and learning activities. 3) The Role of Teachers as Motivators, In this study conducted in Pontianak 9 High School, researchers found several roles of Sociology teachers as motivators in fostering tolerance in SMA 9 Pontianak, namely: 2 ) The teacher motivates students to invite children to make work on invitations to tolerate and students take the initiative to make large banners posted on the walls of the classroom in the hope that students are motivated. 2) The teacher invites all students to work together.Keyword : Learning Sociology, Teacher Roles, Tolerance Attitudes.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine academic adaptation by students in the school environment in grade X Social Science Aliyah Negeri 2 Pontianak. This study uses descriptive method with qualitative research. The data sources of this study were school students, the students of X grade Social Science are still in the process of adjustment. Data collection tools in this study used observation guides, interview guides and documentation studies. The results of this study showed that (1) the adaptation efforts undertaken by the students were conducted at the beginning of the school entry beginning with written tests, MOS activities (student orientation period) and learning activities. In terms of environmental adjustments, students were experiencing difficulties as they can not adjust in the early days. In the aspect of friendship, there are students who have students who have difficulty making friends and some who can connect their friends directly. (2) The student learning process was conducted by the students by following the learning process inside and outside the classroom. Aspects of the learning process in the classroom were carried out by students through learning activities every Monday to Saturday. Aspects of the process of classroom learning outside the classroom have been conducted by students through a series of curriculum and less activities such as drum band, limitation and English learning club activity. Keywords: Adaptation, learning process, school environment

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the impact of social status on sociology learning outcomes in X SHS class. While research method used was a descriptive survey study form. Data collection tool that used was interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data processing technique is to test the validity and reliability testing of the questionnaire, to see social status tested by percentage. While to look at the effect of social stastus tested through a simple linear regression with SPSS 17. Regression coefficient social status variables (X) is 0.75 x. This means that any increase in the social status of 1, then the learning outcomes will be increased by 0.75 and R2 value of 0.08, meaning that the influence of social status on learning outcomes was 0.8%.Key Words: Impact, Social Status, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' interest in learning sociology at SMA Negeri 2 Nanga Pinoh during classroom learning activities. The research adopts a qualitative approach using descriptive research methods. Data for this study were collected from teachers and students. The data collection focused on the interest of eleventh-grade of social students in studying sociology during classroom learning activities. The findings reveal that the overall interest of eleventh-grade social class students in Nanga Pinoh is relatively high. It is supported by the students' personal and psychological interests, as evidenced by their diligent submission of assignments, high attendance, and positive engagement in learning activities, reflecting a sense of enjoyment. However, students' participation and attention during learning activities are still lacking when considering situational interest. It is evident from their relatively low participation and engagement in classroom activities.  Keywords: Interest in Learning, Students, During the Learning Process

Abstract

Teachers are faced with the characteristics of various learning styles and independence of students. Not a few also experience learning difficulties in classroom learning activities. This statement is supported by an observation on April 27, 2024 conducted by researchers at Banyuke State High School. The results are that there is a varied delivery of student assignments, collecting assignments, some are fast and some are slow, the results of economic learning from the test in general answer economic material also varies. The condition is seen in the learning results that do not reach completeness. Low learning outcomes are related to students' learning style and learning independence. In addition to learning independence, the learning style factor is believed to be strongly related to learning outcomes, namely learning styles. The method used in the study is a correlational study through a quantitative research approach. The design form is correlational. The conclusions in this study are 1) the relationship between learning style and economic learning outcomes is relatively strong, 2) the positive and significant relationship between learning independence and economic learning outcomes is relatively strong, and 3) the positive and significant relationship between learning style and independence is relatively strong with economic learning outcomes. So that if the learning style and learning independence are done well, the economic learning outcomes will increase because of the seriousness of students in learning and thinking critically in doing assignments.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine how much influence parents' perceptions of education have on the continuity of children's formal education in Punggur Village, Kubu Raya Regency. The method used in this study was quantitative descriptive, using data collection techniques, namely questionnaires, interviews and documentation. This study attempts to determine parents' perceptions about children's education to increase parental participation in the continuity of children's education. This study intends to provide solutions to all problems that occur in the form of input and as a reference for this perception in increasing the role and participation of parents in the world of education, especially in the Punggur Village area, Kubu Raya Regency

Abstract

This study aims to define the perceptions of office employees regarding the implementation of work-from-home (WFH) during the Covid 19 pandemic in Sungai Asam village, Sungai Raya sub-district. The sub-problems in this study are the knowledge of office employees regarding the implementation of work from home, what are the evaluations of office employees regarding the implementation of work from home, and what are the actions of office employees regarding implementing work from home during a pandemic in Sungai Asam village, Sungai Raya sub-district. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative research form. Data collection techniques used observation. interviews, and documentation.The analysis in this study was presented in a qualitative descriptive manner using 6 informants, namely village officials and school teachers in Sungai Asam village, Sungai Raya sub-district. The results of this study explain the perceptions of office employees regarding the implementation of WFH during the covid 19 pandemic. The conclusion is that knowledge requires employees to be independent and committed to work such as being closer to technology systems, where the implementation of work from home is carried out in different places or spaces thus prioritizing technological tools to communicate in doing work. The assessment of office staff is quite flexible, some respond positively and some consider that the implementation of WFH provides obstacles for office employees. The actions of office employees are by innovating and utilizing various applications, such as Google Meet, Google Classroom, and WhatsApp, using laptops and cell phones.

Abstract

Education has several factors that can affect it, namely family, school, environmental, physiological, psychological, educator, students, material content, and methods used by educators in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to describe: 1) The learning interest of 11th grade social science students at Semparuk SHS; 2) The learning outcomes of 11th grade social science students at Semparuk SHS; 3) The influence of students' learning interests on the economic learning outcomes of 11th grade social science students at Semparuk SHS. The research method uses a quantitative approach.  The location of the study was at Semparuk 1 SHS, with a research population of 96 respondents (students). The conclusions in this study are that 1) The learning interest of 11th grade social science students at Semparuk 1 SHS shows a very high category, 2) Learning outcomes are spread normally in general at the level of learning completeness and a small part of those who have not met the learning completeness, 3) The learning interest of 11th grade social science students at Semparuk 1 SHS has an effect on student learning achievement, where learning interest (X) increases by 1%, then learning outcomes (Y) will increase by 1.2% and the magnitude of the influence of learning interest on learning outcomes is 93.9% and the rest is influenced by other factors.
