Abstract

One of the energy problems in Indonesia is uneven electrification ratio. According to PT. PLN (Persero) East Java Distribution, Madura Island has the lowest electrification ratio in East Java, which is 59.02%. At present, Madura gets their electricity supply from Java Island through 2 high voltage sea cable circuit 150.000 volts with 2x100 MW capacity. However, that’s not enough to fulfill the Madura electricity demand. This research aims to develop a dynamic model of the hydroelectric power system in order to increase Madura’s electrification ratio. In this research, we use a dynamic system model to analyze both technical and economical aspect of developing the hydroelectric power system. A dynamic system model approach is a part of the concept which means it articulate the problem as a comprehensive system and relation between each element of it. We hope this research can pull the trigger of energy independence which is correspond with local resource especially in the eastern island of Indonesia.

Abstract

Tourism is a crucial sector in the economy of a region, and the use of digital technology in the tourism industry is steadily increasing. The responsiveness of a tourism website is a key factor influencing users' perceptions and experiences with the Beyondsultra website. Beyondsultra is a tourism website for Southeast Sulawesi created by the City of Kendari Regional-Owned Enterprise. The research aims to identify the responsiveness of the Beyondsultra website in influencing user perceptions of the quality of their user experience and to provide appropriate recommendations for the company to enhance user satisfaction with the Beyondsultra website. The selected respondents for the study are potential tourists and active users of the Beyondsultra website. Based on data obtained from user satisfaction observations while interacting with the Beyondsultra website using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) and System Usability Scale (SUS) methods, above-average results were obtained for UEQ. Subsequently, a reevaluation was conducted to delve deeper into the issues faced by users, utilizing Cooperative Evaluation techniques. The research findings indicate an improvement in user satisfaction with the Beyondsultra website using the UEQ method, with a 68% increase in attractiveness, 93% in clarity, 91% in efficiency, 100% in stimulation, and 63% in novelty. However, one aspect, precision, remained unchanged after evaluation. In the SUS method, the average assessment score showed a 15% improvement.

Abstract

A pandemic that happened a few years ago has forced universities around the world to adopt online learning. This was driven by government regulations that forced society to adopt health protocols and social distancing. The adoption of Google Classroom as a learning management system (LMS) has potential for universities because of its relatively lower cost than other LMSs, its ability to integrate with Google Meet, an online video conference application, and its ability to help manage learning files. XYZ University provides learning management services through Google Classroom. However, the usage of this LMS post-pandemic decreases after the social distancing regulation is lifted. This has become attention for the researcher to analyze and give recommendations to XYZ University on improving the usage of Google Classroom in the post-pandemic era to digitalize and centralize the learning process in a system. The researcher has designed the research stages, starting with problem formulation, using the UTAUT2 approach, analysis with PLS-SEM, and providing recommendations for the university. This model resulted in two factors affecting the acceptance of Google Classroom: performance expectancy and habit. Also, this model explains 56.5% of behavioral intention on using Google Classroom and 59.9% of use behavior of Google Classroom. This study recommends the institution to enforce the use of Google Classroom for every learning activity so that both faculty members and students are used to using it. This study also recommends the institution to socialize about the features and advantages of Google Classroom to help users aware of the positive impact of using Google Classroom on learning activities.

Abstract

The high level of competition in the banking and non-bank industries makes banks have to continue to adapt in business to provide products and services to their consumers. Although the company recorded an encouraging performance and was able to maintain its position as a market leader, Bank BRI needed a business strategy to remain leading in revenue growth. This research aims to design a business dominance strategy and market share in the banking industry at BRI banks through a Dual Business approach that integrates ecosystem services (Hyperlocal Ecosystem) to increase competitiveness. The method used in this case study is qualitative descriptive with observation and in-depth interviews. The researcher conducted internal and external influence analysis using Porter's Five Forces Approach, Strategic Group Analysis, Value Chain Analysis, and Building Block Analysis to determine the positioning. In this study, the presence of a community-based business framework (hyperlocal business) is expected to add value-added banking services and increase revenue for BRI banks to be able to compete in the open banking industry. Based on the analysis of building blocks, the competitive strategy carried out by Bank BRI is differentiation where Bank BRI has the advantage of customer base as the main raw material in the community map, product quality, and innovation that cannot be imitated by its competitors.
