Abstract

Metode studi kasus semakin diakui sebagai pendekatan penting dalam penelitian arsitektur karena kemampuannya mengungkap wawasan mendalam terhadap fenomena yang kompleks. Studi kasus deskriptif, eksploratif, dan eksplanatif masing-masing memiliki peran signifikan dalam menjawab berbagai pertanyaan penelitian, mulai dari mendokumentasikan fenomena hingga mengeksplorasi dan menjelaskan hubungan kausal. Namun, pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai perbedaan, keunggulan, dan keterbatasan ketiga pendekatan ini masih belum banyak dikaji dan memerlukan investigasi yang lebih sistematis.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk secara kritis mengkaji dan membandingkan karakteristik fundamental dari metode studi kasus deskriptif, eksploratif, dan eksplanatif dalam konteks penelitian arsitektur. Dengan menguraikan tujuan, pendekatan metodologis, dan penerapan dari masing-masing tipe, penelitian ini mengevaluasi kelebihan dan tantangan masing-masing dalam menjawab berbagai masalah penelitian. Selain itu, potensi integrasi ketiga pendekatan ini juga dibahas sebagai upaya untuk mencapai analisis yang lebih komprehensif dan mendalam. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam dan terstruktur tentang cara memilih dan menerapkan tipe studi kasus yang paling sesuai dalam penelitian arsitektur. Selain itu, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan kerangka metodologis yang lebih holistik untuk mendukung para peneliti arsitektur dalam melakukan penelitian yang berdampak.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of digital transformational leadership on organizational agility, employee engagement, innovation capability, and sustainable performance, with a focus on the mediating roles of these variables. The findings aim to provide practical insights for organizational leaders to enhance sustainable performance through effective digital leadership strategies. The research involved 151 employees from manufacturing companies in Central Java and DIY, selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected via a Likert scale questionnaire (1-5) and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with AMOS. The results indicate that organizational agility and innovation capability significantly and positively influence sustainable performance, highlighting their critical roles in maintaining long-term competitiveness. However, employee engagement did not show a significant direct impact on sustainable performance. Digital transformational leadership was found to indirectly enhance sustainable performance through its positive effects on organizational agility and innovation capability, rather than through a direct relationship. The study underscores the importance of digital transformational leadership in fostering organizational agility and innovation. Leaders should align digital strategies with adaptive organizational cultures to maximize the benefits of digital transformation. Future research should explore additional mediating factors to further elucidate these relationships.

Abstract

Metaverse sebuah pengembangan teknologi berupa platform digital yang menghadirkan berbagai macam kemungkinan dalam berkreasi. Ruang Virtual dapat dirancang dengan berbagai pendekatan komunikasi visual, elemen interior maupun arsitektur digital yang tanpa batas. Potensi metaverse telah menghadirkan banyak kemungkinan yang tidak terpikirkan. Berbagai sektor seperti pendidikan, teknologi, iklan, retail, real estate dan sektor kesehatan yang menjadi salah satu sektor yang memiliki potensi dalam pengembangan ruang virtual sebagai media terapi. Pengembangan healing environment pada platform virtual dalam penelitian ini berfokus pada menciptakan zona virtual yang dapat digunakan sebagai ruang penyembuhan dan ruang kontemplasi bagi pengguna dengan keterbatasannya dalam melakukan aktivitas. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu melakukan kajian desain arsitektur biofilik dalam merencanakan ruang virtual untuk ruang penyembuhan bagi seseorang yang membutuhkan kenyamanan khususnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dalam mengkaji sumber dalam perencanaan desain ruang virtual, teori tentang healing environment dan desain arsitektur biofilik, Hal ini bertujuan untuk memberikan ruang interaktif untuk berbaur dan melakukan interaksi yang diharapkan memunculkan kepercayaan diri bagi pengguna.

Abstract

The relocation of Sanur Port has led to a 40% decline in traders’ income, shifts in spatial functions, and the deterioration of infrastructure in the Bangsal Beach and Matahari Terbit Beach areas. This Community Service Program was implemented to address the needs of the main partners, namely BUMDA Galang Kangin Sanur, coastal traders, and the local community, through three key activities: design adaptation, masterplan revision, and construction supervision. The program began with field surveys and interviews involving 32 traders, coastal area mapping, and a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) attended by 26 representatives of BUMDA, the traditional village, and MSME groups. The planning process produced several adaptive design outputs, including the initial construction of four modular kiosks using galvanized steel structures, preparation for the improvement of a 300 meter pedestrian corridor that will be developed further depending on community interest, and the introduction of a porous drainage system to mitigate flooding. Periodic construction supervision was carried out to ensure compliance with technical specifications and material durability within the coastal environment. The outcomes of the program indicate improvements in public space comfort, fairer distribution of trading locations, and the strengthening of Balinese architectural identity through contextual design elements. Overall, this program provides direct benefits to coastal traders, BUMDA Sanur, and traditional community stakeholders, and serves as a model for implementing adaptive architectural approaches in the sustainable development of coastal areas.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Galang Kangin Traditional Village through two focus activities, namely mentoring the management of the Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMDA) and the preparation of the Detail Engineering Design (DED) for the construction of the Sanur Kaja Traditional Village Head Office. The main problems of the partners include limited institutional infrastructure, the absence of technical development documents, and weak organizational governance of the BUMDA. The implementation method includes field surveys, technical design, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), organizational management training, and simulation of office construction financing. The results of the activity show the preparation of a complete DED document and increased competence of BUMDA administrators in organizational and financial governance based on local potential. This program is an example of collaboration between academics and indigenous communities in realizing adaptive, professional, and sustainable institutional governance.
