Abstract

Suli in Baguala Bay, Central Maluku Regency has waters with various types of substrates, namely sandy, muddy and rocky which are rich in benthic organisms. One of them is the gastropod type Nerita sp which is widely used by the population for food needs. The existence of gastropods, especially Nerita sp needs to be maintained and preserved so that the diversity and density of Nerita sp can be maintained and well maintained. This study aims to determine the type and density of Nerita sp. In the coastal waters of Suli, Baguala Bay, Central Maluku district. This research is a descriptive study, namely research to reveal information about the density of Nerita sp in the coastal waters of Suli Baguala Bay, Central Maluku district which is presented in the form of tables and numbers and the research was conducted in July 2019. Based on the description of the morphology of Nerita sp. from the land of Suli, including the species Nerita chamaeleon. The total number of Nerita chamaeleon found was 566 individuals with a density value of 11.32 and categorized as having sufficient density. It is necessary to do further research on the nutritional content and its use by the people of Suli. Keywords: Density, Nerita sp, Suli

Abstract

Penelitian tentang keragaman fenetik jenis lamun di perairan pantai Pulau Ambon yang meliputi pantai Desa Suli, pantai Desa Poka dan pantai Desa Morela belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui keragamanan fenetik lamun di perairan pantai Pulau Ambon berdasarkan karakteristik morfometrik dan meristik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yaitu untuk mengungkapkan informasi tentang variasi morfometrik dan meristik dari jenis-jenis lamun yang terdapat di perairan Pantai Pulau Ambon. Penelitian telah dilakukan pada bulan Agustus 2020 hingga Nopember 2020. Sebanyak 20 individu dari setiap jenis lamun di setiap stasiun diambil secara purposive sampling dan selanjutnya dibawa ke Laboratorium Biologi Dasar FKIP Universitas Pattimura untuk dilakukan pengamatan dan pengukuran morfometrik serta meristiknya. Penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap yakni observasi awal, pengambilan spesimen lamun, analisis morfometrik dan meristik, analisis keragamanan fenetik. Data hasil morfometrik dan meristik dianalisis menggunakan program PAST 4 berdasarkan acuan Analisis Komponen Utama (AKU). Kehadiran jenis lamun di perairan pantai Pulau Ambon adalah; Desa Suli sebanyak 7 spesies, Desa Poka 4 spesies, dan Desa Morela 5 spesies dengan hasil rata-rata morfometrik dan meristik yang bervariasi pada setiap stasiun baik yang sejenis maupun yang berbeda jenis. Hasil morfometrik dan meristik yang berbeda-beda pada setiap jenis lamun yang terdapat pada perairan pantai Pulau Ambon mempengaruhi konstruk dendogram dan menggambarkan keragaman fenetik jenis lamun di perairan Pantai Pulau Ambon.

Abstract

Result of biological study and ecology to variatas of morphology of Harpiosquilla raphidea in coastal territorial water of Countryside of Suli of Island Ambon. Result of environmental factor measurement of territorial water of intertidal show the salinitas mean 19,40/00. temperature of temperature means 27,95oC and dissolve Oksigen of mean 6,16 DO mg / L and pH 6,9. Other measurement of length of prawn of Harpiosquilla raphidea found range from 4 cm until 10 cm. Analyse the morfometrit to variatas of prawn of Harpiosquilla raphidea and morphology of colour of husk seen by a white chromatic, tan, white chromatic of black, white chromatic is brass, chocolate chromatic, and black chromatic. The color difference is caused by the presence of astaxanthin pigment, which can absorb color pigments, thus making the shells of the Harpiosquilla raphidea shrimp have various colors. The color and size variation of the shell is also caused by the influence of environmental factors or the substrate as a place of life.

Abstract

Categories of learning outcomes include acceptance, response, assessment, organization, and pattern formation. Thus, the essence of learning is a change in thinking that affects behaviour. The results of interviews with teachers at SMA Kartika XIII-I Ambon show that current students have not shown an environmentally conscious attitude. Therefore, research was conducted to improve the mastery of the concept of class X students on environmental pollution material using creative problem-solving learning models with guided inquiry strategies. This study used a classroom action research method that took place in two cycles for one month. The subjects in this study were 26 students. The research data were processed descriptively on the results of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor assessments. The results showed that in cycle I there were still 65.4% of students who had not achieved mastery of concepts on environmental pollution material. Therefore, the research was continued in cycle two with the action of using the creative problem-solving learning model based on guided inquiry strategy and coupled with audio-visuals media, as well as a stimulus in the form of giving rewards to active students. It was proven that in cycle II there was an increase in students' mastery of concepts in environmental pollution material in students by 100% so that the series of class action research was no longer continued. Abstract

Dusun Liaela yang terletak di Kabupaten Seram Bagian Barat Provinsi Maluku adalah lokasi dengan sumber daya alam yang cukup melimpah. Kelimpahan sumber daya alam tersebut mencakup wilayah laut dan daratan. Sumber daya alam yang melimpah di daratan yakni dari sektor pertanian yaitu hutan kelapa yang cukup luas. Meskipun demikian, inovasi pemanfaatan buah kelapa agar menghasilkan produk dengan nilai ekonomi lebih tinggi masih minim. Pengetahuan masyarakat tentang cara pengolahan buah kelapa merupakan penyebabnya. Salah satu produk hasil diversifikasi buah kelapa adalah Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). Pelatihan pembuatan VCO kepada masyarakat Dusun Liaela sangat penting untuk dilakukan sebagai upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat. Pelatihan tersebut telah dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM). Rangkaian kegiatan PKM tersebut terdiri dari tahap sosialisasi untuk menarik minat masyarakat, tahap penyampaian materi untuk menjelaskan manfaat dari produk VCO, dan tahap praktik pengolahan buah kelapa menjadi VCO. Pelatihan VCO diikuti oleh 25 remaja putri yang terbagi atas 5 kelompok. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini memberikan tanggapan positif. Mereka mengakui bahwa pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka meningkat setelah mengikuti tahapan kegiatan PKM. Kegiatan PKM ini juga menghasilkan produk dari olahan daging buah kelapa berupa VCO yang mempunyai nilai jual, dimana VCO yang dihasilkan pada tiap kelompok + 250 ml.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a problem-based science learning module in biodiversity material for grade VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah Ambon. This research uses a 4-D development model from Thiagarajan, which consists of the stages of defining, designing, and developing. This study was conducted by involving 25 seventh grade students as a research sample at SMP Muhammadiyah Ambon. Data was collected through module validation, practicality questionnaires, and effectiveness questionnaires. The results showed that the modules developed were very valid, with a percentage of validation from material experts of 88%, media aspects of 85%, and language aspects of 80%. The practicality test shows that this module is very practical, reaching a percentage of 97%. Meanwhile, student responses to modules and learning activities showed a high level of effectiveness, with an average total response of 93.29%. Post-test results also showed a high level of effectiveness, with a percentage of 84%. Also indicated by a greater n-gain value equal to 0.8 in the high category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the problem-based science learning module on biodiversity material for grade VII students at SMP Muhammadiyah Ambon is suitable for use in the learning process.
