Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi pendidikan saat ini memerlukan pengembangan strategi penelaahan agar siswa dapat belajar dengan leluasa dan memperoleh materi yang unggul. Oleh karena itu, penting dalam merencanakan dan membuat media penelaahan interaktif dengan memanfaatkan Articulate Storyline terhadap mata pelajaran Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi yang Diambil di SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman. Hal ini menanyakan poin-poin dalam menguji validitas dan praktikalitas yang dkembangkan. Strategi perbaikan yang digunakan yaitudemonstrasi DDD-E (Decide, Design, Develop, and Evaluate) dengan pendekatan tanya jawab dan perbaikan. Media item ini telah disetujui oleh tiga orang ahli materi dan tiga orang ahli media, serta diujicobakan keterhadap 45 mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Estimasi Biaya Konstruksi terhadap semester Juli-Desember 2024. Dari penilaian tersebut terlihat bahwasanya media penelaahan interaktif ini memperoleh skor validitas dari pakar materi sebesar 0,88 (kategori valid) dan dari pakar media sebesar 0,94 (kategori valid). penilaian dari siswa oleh pendidik mendapat skor 0,94, sedangkan penilaian siswa mendapat skor 0,86. Berdasarkan hal tersebut mengambil kesimpulan bahwasanya media penelaahan interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline dan layak digunakan dalam penelaahan.

Abstract

Tingginya angka kecelakaan kerja di Indonesia menuntut penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Konstruksi (SMKK) yang efektif, khususnya dalam sektor konstruksi. Keselamatan konstruksi (K3) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pekerja dan produktivitas perusahaan melalui upaya menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman. Keselamatan Konstruksi, sebagai bagian dari K3, mencakup standar untuk menjamin keselamatan pekerja, publik, dan lingkungan selama proses konstruksi. Pemerintah Indonesia mewajibkan penerapan SMKK melalui Permen PUPR Nomor 10 Tahun 2021, dengan tujuan mengurangi kecelakaan kerja serta mendukung kelancaran dan keberlanjutan proyek konstruksi. Penelitian ini membahas penerapan SMKK pada Proyek Pembangunan Gedung Labor dan Lokal Kuliah Jurusan Seni Rupa (FBS) Universitas Negeri Padang. Penerapan SMKK dianalisis berdasarkan lima elemen utama, yaitu kepemimpinan dan partisipasi pekerja, perencanaan keselamatan konstruksi, dukungan keselamatan konstruksi, operasi keselamatan konstruksi, dan evaluasi kinerja keselamatan konstruksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat temuan kesesuaian mencapai 80%, temuan kategori minor sebesar 3% dan kategori major sebesar 17%.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) di Nagari Koto Sani, Kecamatan X Koto Singkarak, Solok, berfokus pada pengembangan literasi siswa SDN 12 Koto Sani melalui inovasi "Gerobak Literasi Cantik" (GELATIK). Program ini bertujuan mengatasi rendahnya minat literasi dan keterbatasan fasilitas pendidikan, terutama di daerah yang mengalami kendala akses internet. Desain Gelatik yang ergonomis dan menarik berhasil menarik perhatian siswa untuk lebih aktif dalam kegiatan membaca. Survei menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada aspek minat literasi siswa, dengan persentase kesenangan membaca (89,31%), frekuensi membaca (89,98%), kuantitas bacaan (89,35%), dan kesadaran manfaat bacaan (90,27%). Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa Gelatik berperan penting dalam memperkaya pengalaman literasi siswa di lingkungan sekolah dan berkontribusi dalam menciptakan SDM yang lebih unggul dan berkarakter.

Abstract

Processing rice products into rice requires further processing, where the grain harvested from farmers is processed into rice. The Nagari Binaan Community Service team from Padang State University will later develop this process. Farmer groups say that the availability of continuous and cheap electricity is their obstacle in producing good and cheap rice products. Counseling and assistance in making civil buildings capture turbulence water micro-hydro power plants is a solution to partner problems offered by the community service team of the Nagari program assisted by Padang State University. The output of the Nagari Fostered Program will be used to build a 5000-watt capacity power plant, supporting the need for free and environmentally friendly electricity. This aligns with the government's renewable energy program for 2030, which aims to produce 25% of the national electricity from renewable sources. This program is planned for 3 (three) stages, where the first year is mapping and detailed engineering design in the form of reports and design drawings. The second year is in the form of civil construction, and the third year's target is the installation of electrical machines and panels for commissioning. There will be training for partners, such as farmers in Kanagarian Kamang Hilia, Agam.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of learners' initial ability and interest on learning outcomes in project-based learning (PBL). With the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, it is a systematic research approach to identify, evaluate, and analyze literature or research relevant to a particular topic in an objective and structured manner. This study analyzed 35 journals that discussed the effect of initial ability and interest on student learning outcomes in project-based learning. The results show that higher initial ability makes it easier for students to absorb the material and develop practical skills such as problem solving. On the other hand, high interest encourages students' active engagement and motivation in the project, which contributes to improved learning outcomes. This study also identified that a mismatch between students' initial abilities and the PjBL approach can reduce the effectiveness of learning. These findings provide important insights for educators to design more effective learning that adapts to students' needs, and support more comprehensive curriculum planning. Project-based learning is expected to enhance 21st century skills such as creativity, collaboration and problem solving, which are relevant to prepare students for real-world challenges.

Abstract

The rising demand for concrete in the building sector has resulted in the exhaustion of natural sand and freshwater supplies, leading to the pursuit of sustainable substitutes. Coastal areas have plentiful ferronickel slag (SL) and seawater (SW), which can be used to manufacture concrete. Nevertheless, the possibility of corrosion to steel reinforcement raises concerns that require further research. This investigation examines the mechanical and durability performance of concrete that incorporates SL as a partial replacement for fine aggregate and SW as a mixing component. The objective is to optimize SL content to improve compressive strength, resistance to chloride ions, and overall durability. Experimental results show that replacing 25% of the aggregate with SL yields the best combination of workability, strength, and durability, significantly enhancing compressive strength, decreasing porosity, and lessening chloride ion penetration, as evidenced by the Rapid Chloride Penetration Test (RCPT). Although seawater promotes early-age hydration and strength development, its extended use slightly diminishes compressive strength due to salt-induced micro-cracking. However, SL counters these effects, making SW–SL mixture a feasible and sustainable option for concrete production in coastal and resource-limited areas. A significant relationship between RCPT and compressive strength underscores the important role of SL in densifying the matrix and improving impermeability. The concrete mixture with 25% SL exhibits the lowest abrasion weight loss at 28 and 120 days, showing improved durability. This study highlights the potential of using SL and seawater to create eco-friendly and high-performance concrete for harsh environments.

Abstract

The rapid development of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry has led to the increasing adoption of Building Information Modeling as a critical skill for future professionals. However, vocational high schools in Indonesia, including SMK Negeri 1 Bengkalis, often face challenges in integrating BIM-based learning due to limited resources, conventional teaching approaches, and lack of industry alignment. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Design Modeling and Building Information learning program at SMK Negeri 1 Bengkalis by examining three key aspects: planning, implementation, and assessment. The research used a quantitative descriptive method with survey instruments distributed to teachers and students. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and document analysis. The results show that the planning aspect received an average score of 88.8%, categorized as Good, with strengths in lesson planning and curriculum structure. The implementation aspect scored 82%, also Good, though student engagement and use of technology need improvement. The assessment aspect averaged 85%, with competency achievement rated Very Good, yet feedback and follow-up practices remain underdeveloped. In conclusion, the learning program has been generally well implemented, but further enhancement is needed in integrating digital tools, strengthening industry relevance, and promoting student-centered learning. These improvements are crucial for aligning vocational education with evolving AEC industry demands

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi program kewirausahaan terhadap minat berwirausaha mahasiswa di Departemen Teknik Sipil Universitas Negeri Padang. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya minat mahasiswa dalam mengikuti program kewirausahaan meskipun telah tersedia berbagai program seperti Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha (PMW), Program Pembinaan Mahasiswa Wirausaha (P2MW), dan Wirausaha Merdeka (WMK). Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif asosiatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan angkatan 2022–2024 yang telah mengikuti mata kuliah Pengantar Kewirausahaan. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa dalam berwirausaha, dengan nilai thitung sebesar 6,927 > ttabel 1,980 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin baik implementasi program kewirausahaan, maka semakin tinggi pula minat mahasiswa untuk berwirausaha. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan penguatan program, sosialisasi, serta pendampingan secara berkelanjutan guna mendorong mahasiswa untuk menjadi wirausahawan muda yang mandiri dan inovatif.

Abstract

The Padang Panjang City Center Market is one of the centers of economic activity with a high level of visits, thus causing the problem of limited parking spaces, which leads to the accumulation of vehicles and illegal parking. This study analyzes parking characteristics in the market area, including accumulation, duration, volume, turnover rate, parking index, and parking space needs by referring to the 1996 Technical Guidelines for the Implementation of Parking Facilities. The study results showed that the highest accumulation of motorcycles occurred on Friday at 08.30–09.00, with as many as 180 vehicles, while the highest accumulation of cars was recorded at 10.00-10.30, with as many as 105 vehicles. The average duration of parking a motorcycle is 1.38 hours/vehicle, and a car is 1.43 hours/vehicle. The highest parking volume of motorcycles reached 841 vehicles, and cars reached 291 vehicles. The highest parking turnover rate for motorcycles is 6.46 vehicles/plot, and 4.15 vehicles/plot for cars. The highest parking index is 1.38 vehicles/plot for motorcycles and 1.50 vehicles/plot for cars. The parking space needed is 166 PSU for motorcycles and 60 PSU for vehicles. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the parking capacity at the Padang Panjang City Center Market is insufficient, especially for motorcycles. Therefore, it is necessary to increase capacity and rearrange parking spaces so that their use is more optimal and can support the smooth running of market activities.
