Abstract

Financial management plays a strategic role in ensuring the effectiveness and quality of Islamic educational institutions, especially private madrasahs that depend heavily on School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds. This study explores the financial management practices at MTs Ash-Shalihin Gowa, focusing on how strategies grounded in local wisdom and Islamic values help address funding limitations without compromising educational quality or sustainability. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Key informants included the head of the foundation, the principal, and the treasurer, who provided insights into the planning, budgeting, control, and evaluation processes. Thematic analysis was used, and findings were validated through triangulation. Results show that effective financial management in the madrasah is built on collaborative governance that incorporates local wisdom, such as gotong royong (mutual cooperation), musyawarah (deliberation), and religious values like amanah (trust) and barakah (spiritual benefit). Budgeting was based on needs and priorities, supported by inclusive decision-making involving all stakeholders. The use of the digital E-RKAM system improved transparency and accountability yet was applied in a way that respected the madrasah’s ethical and religious culture. Regular internal and external evaluations supported a reflective and adaptive financial cycle. These evaluations extended beyond regulatory compliance and included community feedback, reinforcing the institution’s legitimacy and responsiveness. Financial efficiency was thus viewed not merely as cost-saving but as a form of ethical stewardship (khalifah) over communal resources. This study contributes to the theory of Islamic educational financial management by showing how local wisdom can enhance digital governance. It offers a practical model for other madrasahs to replicate, emphasizing the importance of aligning religious values, digital tools, and cultural practices in improving educational quality sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of student management in developing student interests and talents through extracurricular activities at MAN 1 Makassar City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through field studies conducted from January to May 2026. Primary data were obtained through non-participatory observation and semi-structured interviews with the Principal, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, extracurricular supervisors, and active students, while secondary data were sourced from work program documents, attendance, and achievement reports. Data analysis was carried out interactively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Testing of data validity was guaranteed through tests of transferability, dependability, confirmability, and triangulation of methods, sources, and theories. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Student management planning is carried out systematically through annual work meetings that include the preparation of work programs, schedules, target determination, and integration of evaluation results from previous periods; (2) The implementation of activities is structured in accordance with the work program by actively involving all stakeholders to hone non-academic skills while simultaneously constructing the character of discipline, cooperation, and responsibility of students; (3) Evaluation is carried out in stages and continuously by the head of the madrasah, student affairs, and supervisors through direct monitoring instruments and Accountability Reports (LPJ). The results of this evaluation are converted as a database for the Follow-up Action Plan (RTL) to improve the quality of extracurricular management in the following period.

Abstract

Abstract: The Effectiveness of Using Microsoft Excel in Processing Student Report Scores at SMA Negeri 11 BoneMicrosoft Excel is one of the media that is familiar and commonly used as a tool to perform data processing. This study aims to determine the teacher's perception of the effectiveness of the Microsoft Excel application as a medium for processing student report cards at SMA Negeri 11 Bone. Data collection techniques in this study used a survey with google form. The population in this study were all homeroom teachers at SMA Negeri 11 Bone. The research analysis method uses a quantitative descriptive approach, the survey uses a Likert scale and the data analysis technique is carried out descriptively by calculating the percentage of data using frequency and interval distributions, then interpreted in depth. The results showed that respondents who categorize that the use of Microsoft Excel is effectively used in processing student report cards at SMA Negeri 11 Bone. Processing student report cards using Microsoft Excel can make it easier for teachers to complete data processing on student report cards, for that training is needed to improve teacher skills in using Microsoft Excel applications. Abstrak: Efektifitas Penggunaan Microsoft Excel dalam Pengolahan Nilai Rapor Siswa SMA Negeri 11 BoneMicrosoft Excel adalah salah satu media yang familiar dan biasa digunakan sebagai alat untuk melakukan olah data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru tentang keefektifan aplikasi Microsoft Excel sebagai media untuk melakukan olah data nilai rapor siswa di SMA Negeri 11 Bone. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan survei dengan google form. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu semua wali kelas yang ada di SMA Negeri 11 Bone. Metode analisis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, survei menggunakan Skala Likert dan teknik analisis dengan menghitung persentase data menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan interval, kemudian dinterpretasi secara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa responden yang mengkategorikan bahwa penggunaan Microsoft Excel efektif digunakan dalam pengolahan nilai rapor siswa di SMA Negeri 11 Bone. Pengolahan nilai rapor siswa dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel dapat mempermudah guru dalam menyelesaikan olah data nilai rapor siswa, untuk itu dibutuhkan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Excel.

Abstract

This study examines classroom management on the learning activities of students at MA DDI Hasanuddin, Maros Regency, which has the aim of knowing the effect of class management on student learning activities in MA DDI Hasanuddin, Maros Regency. Ex post facto quantitative research, the population in this study were all students in MA DDI Hasnuddin Maros Regency, the sample of this study amounted to 90 students. The results of this study indicate that class management is in the moderate category with a total frequency of 62 students (69%) and the active learning of students is in the medium category with a total frequency of 65 students (72%). The results of tcount = 15,1072012 > ttable = 1,66235. There is an influence between classroom management on the learning activities of students at MA DDI Hasanuddin, Maros Regency, this means that the better the implementation of classroom management, the better the learning activities of students.

Abstract

This study aims to organize a library which is a supporting factor for educational success. Qualitative method with a service learning design approach carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The condition of the library has not been able to support student learning at MI Manggarupi. Because the library area does not match the ideal library area. The first step taken is to arrange the books according to class and subject. Through this Service Learning we can understand the arrangement of books and reading corners whose condition is still not in accordance with library standards in general. The results of this service learning are that books are arranged according to class and subject, filled with books that have been stamped according to the applicable school curriculum, damaged reading corner tables are replaced.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of the School Operational Assistance Fund (BOS) budget policy on the education sector in Indonesia. The main focus of this study is to analyze the extent to which BOS Funds contribute to improving the quality of education, equalizing access, and the effectiveness of financing primary and secondary education. Using a descriptive approach with a literature study method (secondary research), data was collected from various sources such as ministry reports, scientific journals, and the results of studies by related institutions. The results of the study indicate that BOS Funds generally encourage increased participation in education for underprivileged students. However, a number of challenges are still faced, including delays in disbursement of funds, mismatch of allocation with actual needs, and weak supervision and financial reporting at the school level. On the other hand, the use of digital technology in BOS Fund reporting has begun to strengthen aspects of transparency and efficiency. This study recommends the importance of improving regulations, increasing school management capacity, and strengthening community involvement in supervision. BOS Funds need to be viewed as a strategic investment in developing fair and equitable human resources throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

Educational financial management is a strategic process in organizing, administering, and supervising all financial activities of educational institutions sourced from the government, the community, and other legitimate sources. This article aims to examine the principles, regulations, and implementation of Islamic educational financial management with an emphasis on transparency, accountability, effectiveness, efficiency, and balance. The research uses a desk study method through analysis of literature, journals, and relevant laws and regulations. The results of the study indicate that Islamic educational financial management is not only administrative but also has social, humanitarian, and spiritual dimensions. Regulations such as the National Education System Law, the Government Regulation on Religious Education, and the Islamic Boarding School Law serve as the legal basis for Islamic education funding. Funding sources come from the National Budget (APBN), Regional Budget (APBD), the community, zakat, waqf, and grants, which must be managed in accordance with sharia principles. The Qur'an emphasizes justice and prohibits usury, gharar, and maisir. The application of these principles can improve service quality, expand access to education, and build a generation with morals and competitiveness.
