Abstract

Online learning has followed the learner's modality/learning style. In the context of educational psychology, learning styles have to do with the uniqueness or differences of individuals in learning. Problems that occur when the learning process is not following the learning style are emotional problems, self-efficacy, motivation, etc. This descriptive study aimed to generate a profile of learning styles on research samples, platforms that were often used during online learning, as the trend of learning activities of the samples. Thus, researchers could analyze the relationship between those three variables. The study population and sample were 120 guidance and counseling study program students in the 6th semester. This research used questionnaires as research instruments. The results showed that online learning during the pandemic was not following student learning styles in Islamic guidance and counseling programs, so it had an impact on students’ burnout and learning procrastination. Kinesthetic learning style was the learning style that most respondents had (49.17%). Meanwhile, the learning activity that was often carried out was listening through Zoom meetings. This mismatch had an impact on student interaction, engagement, interests, and motivation. Guidance and counseling courses could emphasize project-based learning activities using the TPACK model. Thus, students could conduct experiments collaboratively with diverse learning styles.

Abstract

Abstrak Ketidaktelitian merencanakan karir diprediksi akan terjadi pada siswa kelas XII di SMAN 1 Rambutan, dikarenakan skeptis terhadap diri dan peluang karir yang tersedia, sementara itu di era digital menuntut siswa memiliki preferensi pribadi yang mantap.  Oleh karena itu pemahaman tipologi kepribadian bertujuan untuk membantu proses perencanaan karir siswa SMAN 1 Rambutan agar relevan dengan karakteristik pribadi dan tren di era digital. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dalam tiga sesi yaitu reframing,  pemahaman diri melalui instrumen RIASEC, terkahir diskusi dan simulasi.  Hasilnya ditemukan mayoritas peserta memiliki tipologi sosial (51%), diikuti oleh artisitik (18%), dan yang paling rendah adalah investigatif (1%), selain itu  siswa dapat mengelompokkan kegiatan yang mendukung pada rencana karier antara lain meningkatkan keahlian yang spesifik (kuliah, mengambil lisensi, dan pelatihan), dan kegiatan yang dapat mengembangkan kemampuan penunjang (kursus singkat bahasa, pemanfaatan sosial media, dan  berkomunitas). Kata kunci: perencanaan karir, era digital, tipologi kepribadian Abstract Inaccuracy in career planning was predicted would happen in grade XII SMAN 1 Rambutan, that causes by skeptical of self and career opportunities that are available. Meanwhile, in the digital age, students are required to have good personal preferences. Therefore the personality typology assessment aim to help the process of career planning of students SMAN 1 Rambutan to be relevant to personal characteristics and career trends in digital age. Implementation method held in three sessions i.e. reframing, self-understanding through RIASEC inventory, closing with discussion and simulation. The results found the majority of participants have social typology (51%), followed by artistic (18%), and the lowest is investigative (1%), moreover they can be grouping some activities that support the career plan like   upgrading specific skills (taking graduate study, take the licenses, and training), and activities that could develop supporting ability  (languages short course, utilization of social media, and community activity). Keywords : career planning, digital age, personality typology

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap latar belakang teoretis kebijakan disiplin positif dan mengidentifikasi keterampilan komunikasi antarpribadi yang dibutuhkan berdasarkan kajian praktik baik terkait penerapan disiplin positif. Penelitian ini dibutuhkan karena penerapan disiplin positif sebagai bagian dari kebijakan Kurikulum Merdeka bukannya tanpa tantangan, serta masih terdapat persepsi bahwa hukuman dan konsekuensi efektif dalam menegakkan disiplin. Pemahaman dan keterampilan komunikasi antarpribadi dibutuhkan untuk menjembatani kesenjangan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode telaah pustaka sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan komunikasi antarpribadi memudahkan guru dan siswa dalam memahami kebutuhan dan menerima nilai-nilai universal. Komunikasi antarpribadi menunjang dua proses utama disiplin positif, yaitu menentukan keyakinan kelas dan melakukan restitusi. Keterampilan komunikasi antarpribadi yang dibutuhkan dalam penerapan disiplin positif meliputi pelibatan siswa, penerimaan terhadap sikap dan perspektif siswa, serta fokus pada solusi dan memberikan penguatan positif. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan pengelolaan perilaku siswa melalui restitusi dan kebijakan pengembangan modul pelatihan guru dalam penerapan disiplin positif.

Abstract

This study aims to fill the gap in the content of peace guidance services, which are still dominated by normative approaches and do not provide students with transformative conflict management skills. A systematic literature review is the method used in this study to achieve the research objectives, namely formulating dimensions of conflict transformation as the content of peace guidance services. The results of the study indicate that the content of conflict transformation in peace guidance emphasizes awareness of the roots of conflict, creative expression, inclusive dialogue, and commitment to reconciliation. The competencies required include reflective skills, empathetic communication, and cooperation. Arts and creativity-based interventions are suggested to change attitudes and perceptions of conflict.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the need for career adaptability development for UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten students to be able to anticipate problems such as discovering the desired field of work and the difficult task of job searching. Microblogs make it easier for students to find and utilize career information online and increase awareness of career opportunities and challenges. This study examines the effectiveness of microblogs in improving students' career adaptability. The method used is quasi-experimental. The research population is UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten students who are followers of the Instagram handle @unitkarir_uinsmhbanten, totaling 549 people. The sample used is 15% of the total population, 82 people, who were selected randomly. Research data on career adaptability was obtained using the career adaptability scale, which refers to the construct of Mark L. Savickas. The results showed that microblogs were proven to significantly improve students' career adaptability, based on tstat (35,039) > ttable (1.66365), and sig = 0.000 < 0.05. The average change in career adaptability (N-Gain) obtained is 62%. The aspect of career adaptability that increased the most after students joined the microblog was career control, followed by career curiosity and career concernPenelitian dilatar belakangi oleh adanya tuntutan pengembangan career adaptability pada mahasiswa UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten, agar mampu mengantisipasi masalah seperti kekhawatiran tidak mendapatkan pekerjaan dan kurangnya pemahaman tentang bidang pekerjaan yang diinginkan. Microblog lebih memudahkan mahasiswa untuk menemukan dan memanfaatkan informasi karier secara online, dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran terhadap peluang dan tantangan karir. Penelitian bertujuan menguji efektivitas microblog dalam meningkatkan career adaptability mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi-eksperimental. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten yang menjadi pengikut (followers) Instagram @unitkarir_uinsmhbanten yang berjumlah 549 orang. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 15% jumlah populasi yaitu 82 Orang dan dipilih secara random.  Data penelitian mengenai career adaptability diperoleh menggunakan skala career adaptability yang mengacu kepada konstruk dari Mark L.Savickas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Microblog terbukti secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan career adaptability mahasiswa, berdasarkan perbandingan antara thitung dengan ttabel yaitu, thitung (35.039) > ttabel (1.66365), serta nilai sig = 0.000 < 0.05. Rata rata perubahan career adaptability (N-Gain) yang diperloeh adalah 62%. Aspek career adaptability  yang paling meningkat setelah mahasiswa mengikuti microblog adalah career control, selanjutnya diikuti oleh aspek career curiosity, dan career concern.

Abstract

The issue of religious moderation in Islamic counseling is part of the ethical and moral values of the counselor. Religious moderation education should be able to improve multicultural competence, especially in prospective Islamic counselors. This study aims to analyze whether religious moderation contributes to the development of multicultural counseling competence. The study used ex-post facto to examine the relationship between religious moderation and the multicultural counseling competence. The research was conducted through a survey using a google form to 30 students of Islamic Guidance and Counseling at UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten and 30 students of guidance and counseling at the University of PGRI Palembang. The results showed that religious moderation contributes to the development of multicultural counseling competencies. Religious moderation supports the development of multicultural insight regarding differences in values and a person's perspective in religion.

Abstract

This study was motivated by public skepticism regarding the implementation of deep learning in education, particularly at the elementary level. The research aimed to examine the pedagogical benefits and ethical considerations of implementing deep learning through an axiological lens. A systematic literature review was conducted. The axiological analysis revealed that deep learning empowered students to develop a sense of belonging in their learning through critical thinking and reflection, fostering joyful, mindful, and meaningful learning experiences. The study highlights the importance of active, authentic, and collaborative learning, while also emphasizing the ethical considerations such as adaptability to digital learning environments and the quality of learning materials aligned with students' needs, interests, and life contexts.

Abstract

Graduates of Islamic boarding schools often face obstacles in obtaining jobs, and only a small number enter the professional field. The study aims to improve Salafi Islamic boarding school students' career readiness through a transferable skills-based career guidance module that equips them with abilities and knowledge applicable across various jobs and career levels, aligned with career development in the era of disruption. The research method used a quasi-experiment. The research sample consisted of 25 people, selected purposively from fifth- and 7th-semester students at Islamic boarding schools who were willing to participate in a series of research activities. Data collection used Transferable Skills Analysis (TSA) and Student Career Readiness Index (SCRI). The results of the study showed that the transferable skills-based career guidance module was effective in improving the career readiness of Salafi Islamic boarding school students, as indicated by a Z value of 4.380 in the Wilcoxon Test, with a significance (2-tailed) of 0.000. The most significant changes in career readiness were the dimensions of career management and seeking information and assistance.
