Abstract

TKI is a company in the manufacturing industry, with the main job of machining processes for motor vehicle components. PT. TKI has 2 sub-cons for blackening work and intends to evaluate those sub-cons. The method used to determine the assessment criteria using Analytical Hierarchy Process method (AHP). The results of the criteria research using the AHP method obtained 5 criteria, namely quality, price, delivery, flexibility, and responsiveness (QCDFR) with the weight of each criterion: quality = 0.48, price = 0.13, delivery = 0.31, flexibility = 0.05, and responsiveness = 0.03. These five criteria will then be used to evaluate the sub-contractors to be implemented at the end of the year. Keywords: AHP, Sub-Contractor, Criteria, Industry, Blackening

Abstract

Poverty is a central issue for every country in the world, especially for developing countries. In Indonesia, poverty has become a phenomenon and fact, one of the problems that has not been resolved until now by both the central government and the regional government. Difficulties in determining which regions experience the highest and normal poverty levels and areas with low poverty levels, a method is needed to help this problem. One of them is data mining using clustering techniques. Clustering is a method used to group data based on the similarity of the data. In analyzing partition-based clusters, the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) algorithm is an algorithm that has been widely used to solve data clustering problems. The variable in this study is the number of poor people based on regencies and cities in Indonesia from 2015 to 2017. These variables are used to obtain categories from each cluster formed. From the results of the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that three regencies and cities can be grouped: cluster 1 consisting of 39 districts / cities with high poverty levels, cluster 2 consisting of 368 districts / cities with low poverty level categories, and cluster 3 having members 107 districts / cities with moderate poverty levels. And from the DBI value obtained in the FCM algorithm is equal to 0.524 which means that with this value the cluster in the algorithm that is formed can be said to be good or optimal because the DBI value is close to 0. Abstract

Biaya energi pada industri keramik terdiri dari biaya energi gas dan biaya energi listrik. Biaya energi yang dibutuhkan untuk memproduksi keramik lantai adalah sekitar 40% dari total biaya produksi. Kiln merupakan salah satu mesin produksi di industri yang menggunakan sebagian besar energi gas yaitu sekitar 51% dari total konsumsi gas yang dibutuhkan dalam proses produksi keramik. Permasalahan penting yang dihadapi adalah konsumsi gas kiln masih belum sesuai dengan Key Performance Indicator (KPI) perusahaan. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mendukung pihak manajemen dalam mencari permasalahan konsumsi energi pada kiln. Tabung burner didesain sedemikian rupa sehingga temperatur udara di dalam burner dapat meningkat dan tekanannya lebih stabil sehingga mudah terbakar dan pada akhirnya konsumsi gas menjadi lebih rendah dibandingkan desain burner aslinya. Penggunaan burner tube berdampak pada penurunan tekanan ruang bakar kiln, agar kiln tetap beroperasi sesuai standar operasionalnya maka perlu dilakukan pengurangan daya motor kipas angin asap sehingga akan mengurangi energi listrik kiln.
