One indicator of marine pollution on Bokori Island is the large amount of plastic waste scattered on land and sea. The plastic waste that is handed over is caused by a lack of awareness among local tourists to dispose of rubbish in the available places. Apart from that, the lack of a good waste processing system on Bokori Island means that plastic waste tends to be piled up and burned. This research aims to determine the distribution of plastic waste on Bokori Island and the management of waste on Bokori Island. The methods used in this research are field observation, interviews and waste sample sorting. The results obtained were that the distribution of waste on Bokori Island was 1,335 pieces of waste from stations 1-6 with different types. The plastic waste found was PET, PETE (Polyetylene Terephthalate) as much as 543 (41%), HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) as much as 146 pieces (11%), PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) as much as 25 pieces (2%), LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) as many as 155 pieces (12%), PP (Polyethylene) as many as 247 pieces (19%) and PS (Polyethyrene) as many as 216 pieces (16%). Of the various types of plastic waste, the most dominant waste found was PET, PETE (Polyetylene Terephthalate) with the amount of waste from stations 1-6 being 543 (41%). The waste management process on Bokori Island is not good, because the management system implemented does not meet the standards of SNI 3242:2008 concerning Waste Management. Waste management is only carried out in a simple way, where waste is only collected and then burned without going through a better waste management process.
