Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang“bagaimana peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan mediaautograph materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar (BRSD) pada siswa kelas VIII MTs Swasta Kuala”, agarsiswadapatmemperolehpengalamansecaralangsunguntukmeningkatkankeaktifandanprestasibelajarsehinggapembelajaranmenjadilebihbermakna.Latarbelakangmasalahpenelitianiniyaitukurangnyapemahamankonsep- konsepbangunruangsisidatarsehinggaparasiswahanyamenyalinapa yang di kerjakanoleh guru, selainituparagurukurangmemberikanpeluangpadasiswauntukmengemukakan ide-idenya. Permasalahantersebutperludicarisolusinyayaitudenganmelakukanpenelitiantindakankelas yangbertujuanuntuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswapadamateri Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar (BRSD). Denganpembelajaranmenggunakan media autograph materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar (BRSD) pada siswa kelas VIIIMTs Swasta Kualadiharapkandapatmeningkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenispenelitian ini yaituPenelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII semesterII. Teknik pengumpulan datayaitu: observasi, tes, dokumentasi. Instrumen yang di gunakan untukmengumpulkan data terdiri dari lembar validasi RPP, lembar validasi tes, lembar validasi observasi. Teknikanalisis data yang digunakan secara deskreptif yaitu hanya mengumpulkan data yang diperoleh melaluiobservasi dan tes. Dari hasil pengamatan dari dua siklus yang telah peneliti laksanakan terdapat peningkatanhasil belajar siswa yaitudengan menggunakan media autograph materi Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar (BRSD)pada siswa kelas VIII MTs Swasta Kualatelahmeningkathal ini dapat terlihat dari nilai rata-rata yangdiperoleh pada siklus I yaitu sebesar67,76 siswa yang mencapaiKKM sedangkan pada siklus IIadapeningkatan nilai rata-rata yaitusebesar 78,12 yang berarti seluruh siswa telah mencapai KKM.

Abstract

Perubahan orientasi dan pengembangan kurikulum 2013 SMA menempatkan matematika sebagai mata pelajaran dengan jam terbanyak dibandingkan kurikulum sebelumnya. Peneliti menemukan kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika masih banyak khususnya materi peluang. Salah satu kelasalahan yang dilakukan siswa pada materi peluang adalah kesalahan dalam memahami soal yang diberikan guru di SMA Negeri 1 Kaway XVI. Oleh karena itu peneliti ingin mendeskripsikan penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal tentang materi peluang di Kelas XI SMAN 1 Kaway XVI. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kaway XVI yang berjumlah 20 orang sedangkan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 5 orang siswa kelas XI yang melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika pada materi peluang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan wawancara. Perolehan yang didapat pada penelitian ini berupa penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pada materi peluang adalah (1) kurang teliti, (2) belum paham dengan materi, (3) kurang memahami kalimat, (4) tidak membagi waktu, dan siswa lama dalam mengerjakan soal, dan (5) kurang minat. Adapun solusi dari penyebab terjadinya kesalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah, guru selalu memberikan tugas dan latihan secara rutin sehingga siswa mudah untuk mengingat bagaimana cara menyelesaiakan materi peluang dengan benar. Guru saat menjelaskan contoh soal dan materi secara mendetail agar siswa mudah mengingat cara menyelesaikan soal dengan cepat. Guru sering memberikan latihan yang berbentuk cerita nyata yang bisa dilihat secara langsung, agar siswa terbiasa menyelesaikan soal-soal yang berbentuk cerita. Guru selalu memberitahukan siswa untuk mengerjakan soal yang bisa terlebih dahulu. Guru memberikan pelatihan-pelatihan untuk belajar cara menghitung cepat. Guru selalu memberikan lomba-lomba seperti cerdas cermat, sehingga siswa mempunyai minat untuk belajar. Berdasarkan hasil tes yang peneliti lakukan kepada subjek penelitian faktor kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal tentang materi peluang yaitu prosedur tidak tepat, data hilang, data tidak tepat, manipulasi tidak langsung, dan kesimpulan hilang. Dari 20 orang siswa 13 yang kurang teliti sebesar 65%, 9 orang siswa yang belum paham dengan materi sebesar 45%, 7 orang siswa yang kurang memahami kalimat sebesar 35%, 8 orang siswa yang tidak membagi waktu, dan siswa lama dalam mengerjakan soal sebesar 40%, dan 3 orang siswa yang kurang minat sebesar 15%.

Abstract

Kemampuan representasi matematis sangat penting untuk dimiliki dan dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan representasi matematis siswa, serta bentuk representasi matematis yang muncul. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus terhadap empat siswa SMP Kelas VII dengan kemampuan sedang, yang dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran Mengenal Bentuk Aljabar. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023 sebanyak tiga kali pertemuan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu angket, wawancara, dan lembar analisis pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas VII merupakan siswa tahap abstraksi awal sehingga kemampuan representasi matematis belum banyak muncul dan berkembang dengan baik. Adapun bentuk representasi yang muncul yaitu representasi simbolik dengan tipe rendah dimana masih terdapat Gap antara berpikir konkrit dengan kemampuan abstraksi awal. Beberapa hal yang mempengaruhi munculnya kemampuan representasi adalah motivasi yang tinggi dalam memecahkan masalah, metode belajar yang disajikan, dan kemampuan siswa dalam belajar matematika.Mathematical representation ability is very important to have and develop. This study aims to analyze students' mathematical representation abilities, as well as the forms of mathematical representations that appear. This study used case studies of four Grade VII junior high school students with moderate abilities, which were carried out in Recognizing Algebraic Shapes. The research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year in three meetings. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires, interviews, and problem solving analysis sheets. The results showed that class VII students were students at the early abstraction stage, so their mathematical representation abilities had not emerged and developed well. The form of representation that appears is symbolic representation with a low type where there is still a gap between concrete thinking and initial abstraction abilities. Some of the things that influence the emergence of representational abilities are high motivation in solving problems, the learning methods presented, and students' abilities in learning mathematics.

Abstract

The lack of teacher creativity in implementing learning results in low student learning outcomes. One way to improve student learning outcomes is to use a learning model that focuses on student activeness. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning learning model on student learning outcomes in exponent functions in first grade students at Krueng barona Jaya senior high school. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Sampling based on purposive sampling technique, obtained X1 class students (N = 24) as an experimental class that applies learning with Problem Based Learning model and X2 class students (N = 28) as a control class that applies conventional learning. Data collection techniques using observation, tests and documentation. Based on the results of the t-test analysis of two independent samples through the average value of the posttest of student learning outcomes, obtained t-count > t-table (4.49> 2.00). So it can be concluded that there is an effect of learning using the Problem Based Learning model on student learning outcomes on exponent function.

Abstract

Students experience difficulties in working on and solving non-routine problems. This means that students' high-level thinking abilities are still relatively low. One solution isto use HOTS-based LKPD through the problem[1]based learning model. The aim of this research is to find out whether HOTS[1]based LKPD through the PBL model is effective in reducing absolute value inequality. This research is a type of quantitative research. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study was determined using the purposeful sampling technique. The experimental class was given treatment using HOTS-based LKPD via the PBL model, while the control class used a conventional learning model. The techniques and tools for collecting data for this research are through tests and documentation. The data analysis technique was tested through descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis, as well as the N-Gain Score test. The results of this research show that learning using HOTS-based LKPD through the PBL model in the experimental class is within the effective criteria with a percentage level of effectiveness of 81.21%, while learning using the conventional model in the control class is within the criteria of being quite effective with a percentage level of effectiveness of 54.47 percent. The conclusion is that the HOTS-based LKPD through the PBL model is effective in reducing absolute value inequality material.

Abstract

Mathematics learning is one of the learning that is difficult for high school students to understand, both in understanding the material and when solving problems such as in derivative material so that students need high learning motivation and are able to help students become more confident in learning mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of the mathway application on derivative material in mathematics learning for high school students. The method in this study is quantitative quasi-experimental. The data collection techniques used were pretest and posttest tests, as well as questionnaires. The population in this study were all students of grade XI. However, the samples were: students of grade XI IPA 3 (36 people) as the experimental class and students of grade XI IPA 2 (32 people) as the control class. The results of this study showed the provision of pretest and posttest in the experimental class (XI IPA 3) through treatment with the use of the mathway application so that the difference in pretest and posttest values ​​was obtained to see their learning motivation. The learning motivation of the experimental class was 52.61 and for the control class (XI IPA 2) it was 46.31. Furthermore, for the analysis of the questionnaire given to students in the experimental class, the average value of the questionnaire was 74.25 with a good category. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the Mathway application has an effect on the learning motivation of high school students in the derivative material as evidenced by the difference in the pretest-posttest scores of the experimental class and the control class and the average value of the questionnaire. The suggestion in this study is that there needs to be an adjustment to the use of the Mathway application in mathematics learning and it is necessary to conduct a re-examination of the use of the Mathway application to see students' learning motivation in mathematics learning using different materials and methods.

Abstract

Student creativity in processing information and presenting it interestingly is an important skill in the world of modern education. This service aims to increase the creativity of class XI Science students at Madrasah Aliyah Pekanbaru through training in the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint. This training includes the delivery of material and direct practice. This training provides an in-depth understanding of the features of these two applications, such as text processing, presentation design, and the function and use of CTRL A-Z in Microsoft Word. This training contributes to developing students' creativity while increasing their readiness to face academic and professional challenges in the future.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Berdasarkan data Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan tahun 2022, sekitar 55,15% sampah berasal dari aktivitas rumah tangga. Larutan MOL dapat dibuat menggunakan sampah organik rumah tangga. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas kombinasi MOL nasi basi dan tapai singkong terhadap laju kematangan kompos.Metode: Penelitian quasi eksperimen, pengomposan aerob Dimana perlakuan menggunakan 3 kg sampah yang diberikan kombinasi MOL (X = tapai singkong-nasi basi). dengan variasi kombinasi mengggunakan perbandingan 50:50, 40:60, 30:70, 20:80, 10:90. kemudian dianalisis dengan uji Anova, untuk mengetahui perbedaan laju kematangan kompos antara perbandingan kombinasi MOLHasil: Uji One Way Anova mendapatkan p-value <0,05 artinya terdapat perbedaan laju kematangan kompos yang signifikan antara kombinasi MOL.Kesimpulan: Laju kematangan kompos variasi tercepat kombinasi X1 (50:50) 9 hari dibandingkan dengan perbandingan kombinasi lainnya. penelitian membuktikan bahwa Kombinasi MOL dapat menjadi alternatif pengganti bioaktivator pabrikan untuk pengomposan skala rumah tangga.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the level of students' preparedness for earthquake disasters. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research with a survey method with the population being junior high school students where schools are selected based on several conditions, two schools were selected. The total number of respondents taken from 2 schools, SMPN 2 and SMPN 4 Tanantovea, was 49 students. Data were taken from a questionnaire that had been modified by the author. The results of the research show that the knowledge aspect of SMPN 2 students is in the low category of 14%, for SMPN 4 the percentage of 14% is also in the low category, the emergency response plan aspect of SMPN 2 students is in the low category of 12%, for SMPN 4 students is in the low category. 15% in the low category, the early warning aspect of SMPN 2 students in the percentage of 14% in the low category, for SMPN 4 students in the percentage of 13% in the low category, and the resource mobilization aspect of SMPN 2 students in the percentage of 15% in the low category, and for SMPN 4 students in the the percentage of 16% is in the low category. So the overall results conclude that students' preparedness in facing earthquake disasters at the junior high school level in Tanantovea District, Donggala Regency is still in the low category.
