Abstract

Pembinaan olimpiade matematika bagi peserta didik Sekolah Dasar Negeri 002 Samarinda Utara yang dilaksanakan dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menghadapi soal-soal olimpiade. Sekolah tersebut haruslah dipersiapkan bibit unggul sedini mungkin agar peserta didik siap ketika mendekati perlombaan olimpiade, bukannya belajar mendekati pelaksanaan olimpiade. Hal tersebut yang menjadikan pengabdi untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pembinaan olimpiade matematika. Pada proses pelaksanaan pembinaan olimpiade terdapat tiga tahap yakni tahap pretest¸perlakuan (treatment), dan post test. Metode yang digunakan pada tahap pembinaan yakni ceramah, diskusi, dan presentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh pada pembinaan olimpiade memberikan peningkatan nilai rata-rata skor pretest ke post test sebesar 38,85. Meningkatnya skor tersebut merupakan usaha yang dilakukan peserta didik dan menjadi indikator meningkatnya kemampuan peserta didik dalam memahami dam menyelesaikan soal-soal olimpiade yang diberikan, sehingga nantinya adanya calon jawara olimpiade matematika sejak sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini berupaya untuk memberikan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efisien ditengah pembelajaran secara daring yang terjadi saat ini dikarenakan pandemi COVID-2019. Schoology merupakan salah satu Learning Management System (LMS) yang membantu peserta didik dan pendidik dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar secara daring. Schoology adalah layanan jejaring sosial dan lingkungan pembelajaran virtual untuk institusi sekolah dan pendidikan tinggi yang memungkinkan pengguna untuk membuat, mengelola, dan berbagi konten akademik. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 9 Samarinda yang dihadiri sebanyak 10 orang guru. Dipilihnya SMA Negeri 9 Samarinda merupakan sekolah Adiwiyata Nasional tahun 2019 serta sekolah sudah dilengkapi fasilitas penunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar yang dapat memanfaatkan teknologi informasi. Metode dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam empat tahap yakni metde ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab, simulasi/praktik, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pendampingan ini yakni bahwa para peserta pelatihan telah mempunyai kemmpuan dan pengetahuan untuk menggunakan dan mengelola kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan LMS schoology, para peserta (guru) telah memiliki kelas pembelajaran dengan menggunakan LMS schoology, serta para peserta pelatihan yang merupakan guru telah membuat dan mampu mengembangan konten pembelajaran dengan menggunakan LMS schoology.

Abstract

With the advancement of technology in today's era, it is becoming increasingly sophisticated, with even many members of Generation Alpha being familiar with it. When it comes to using Instagram, the Alpha generation has shown signs of Instagram addiction by fulfilling the 7 aspects of social media addiction on Instagram. The Alpha generation should already possess self-regulation in order to prevent addictive behavior tendencies in their identity. Self-regulation is a key element that can help limit addictive actions. Hence, the goal of this study is to collect concrete information on how self-regulation impacts Instagram addiction. This study employed a quantitative methodology, specifically utilizing simple linear regression analysis on a sample of 80 fourth-grade students from SDN 003 Sungai Pinang. The tools used for measurement are the self-regulation scale and the Instagram addiction scale. The findings of this study indicate that self-regulation accounts for 27% of the variance in Instagram addiction, with the remaining 73% being attributed to other factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the learning difficulties Mathematics experienced by students. This type of research is qualitative research with a subject of 16 students who have difficulty learning Mathematics. The results of this study showed that: 1) internal factors of mathematics learning difficulties experienced by students in VD grades are the interest factors of students' learning, motivational factors and attitudes of students, and student learning habits. An internal factor that does not affect VD students in math learning difficulties is sensing ability. 2) External factors of mathematics learning difficulties experienced by students in VD class are teaching methods of teachers, and learning facilities. External factors that do not affect students in VD class who have difficulty learning Mathematics is the teacher's relationship with the student.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of online learning students using SPADA in review of problem-solving and self-regulated learning skills in linear program materials algebra courses. This research was conducted at Widya Gama University in semester 5A class in 2020. This study is an experimental study with method 1) One-Shot Case Study, to obtain data on student problem-solving skills and 2) One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, to obtain data on student self-regulated learning. Based on the results of the study, 1) online learning with SPADA on linear program materials is effectively reviewed from the problem-solving ability of PGSD students of Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda University and 2) online learning with SPADA on linear program materials effectively reviewed from self-regulated learning of PGSD students of Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda University. Researchers will be able to explore how mediation factors (such as motivation) work with self-regulated learning to improve our understanding of the influence of student self-regulation on academic success in online learning in life.

Abstract

Physical fitness is a crucial aspect in supporting the health, well-being, and academic achievement of students in schools. This issue is particularly relevant at SDN 003 Loa Janan Ilir, Samarinda City, especially following the pandemic period which caused a significant decline in students' physical activity. The problem statement and objective of this community service project are to explore how to develop the physical fitness of students at SDN 003 Loa Janan Ilir, Samarinda City, through the implementation of traditional game-based models. Differences in daily activities result in varying levels of students' physical fitness. Based on the calculation and analysis of research data, the following conclusions were drawn: 1) The physical fitness level of students at SDN 003 Loa Janan Ilir, Samarinda City, improved compared to the pre-test results, although still classified as moderate and low. 2) The implementation of physical fitness training based on traditional games successfully created a fun and interactive learning environment for the students. Traditional games were chosen because they are easily accessible, inexpensive, and engage all aspects of students' motor skills comprehensively. With this approach, students not only exercise but also learn through play. 3) The development of physical education teachers’ competencies at SDN 003 Loa Janan Ilir also showed progress. 4) Through training and mentoring provided, physical education teachers were able to master traditional game-based teaching methods more effectively and confidently. This community service activity at SDN 003 Loa Janan Ilir successfully introduced an innovative approach by applying traditional games as a medium for fostering students' physical fitness.

Abstract

The phenomenon that occurs in class VI elementary school is that learning discipline is still low, easily provoked by emotions, easily distracted, and attitudes among students that respect low achievement. This problem is related to the ability to control oneself. This research aims to analyze students' self-control abilities descriptively with the subject of class VI students. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique and data collection uses observation, documentation and interview techniques to be able to explore and uncover problems. Researchers tested the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques. The results of this study show that participants' self-control abilities were studied from the aspects of good behavioral control, poor cognitive control, and very good decision control. In this research, external factors from the family and environment dominate the self-control abilities of elementary school students.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the field of education, including mathematics learning. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of Android-based learning media in improving students' mathematical communication skills and curiosity. The research was conducted in Class V A of SDN 027 Samarinda Ulu during the 2024/2025 academic year, using a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through tests and questionnaires, then analyzed. The normality test results indicated that the data were normally distributed. The homogeneity test showed that the data were homogeneously distributed. The one-sample t-test and proportion test revealed that the average score of students' mathematical communication exceeded the minimum threshold of 70, and more than 75% of students reached this score, placing them in the “good” category. Meanwhile, the paired-sample t-test showed a significant increase in students’ curiosity after the learning intervention, and the one-sample t-test showed that the final curiosity scores exceeded the benchmark of 73.41. The use of Android-based learning media proved to be effective in developing mathematical communication skills and fostering students’ curiosity. These findings reinforce the importance of integrating technology into the learning process to create an active, meaningful, and enjoyable learning environment.

Abstract

Penguatan numerisasi bagi guru sekolah dasar menjadi salah satu langkah strategis dalam mendukung peningkatan literasi matematika peserta didik. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperluas pemahaman guru tentang konsep numerisasi dan keterkaitannya dengan pembelajaran bermakna di tingkat dasar. Melalui pendekatan ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, latihan soal, dan refleksi bersama, sebanyak 23 guru di SDN 034 Samarinda Ulu yang terlibat dalam program pelatihan yang dilaksanakan selama dua hari. Hari pertama difokuskan pada pemahaman teoritis dan praktik numerisasi serta literasi matematika, sedangkan hari kedua diarahkan pada penyusunan soal berbasis konteks kehidupan nyata. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas guru mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam memahami esensi numerisasi dan menunjukkan kemampuan menyusun soal yang relevan dengan konteks peserta didik. Sebagian besar peserta juga menyatakan kesiapan menerapkan materi pelatihan di kelas dan mengusulkan perlunya pelatihan lanjutan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa intervensi terstruktur dengan pendekatan kontekstual dan partisipatif dapat memperkuat kompetensi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran matematika yang literat dan aplikatif. Sehingga, kegiatan ini mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dan berkontribusi pada tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs), khususnya dalam pendidikan berkualitas untuk semua.
