Abstract

The study aimed to describe the method of learning turats book with a translation model in al-Amin Islamic boarding schools. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with the process of analysis deductively. The process of data retrieval was based on direct observation of the learning process in Ma?had Al-Amin. The results of this study were the process of learning turats book material using the Harfiyah translation or literal translation process. The learning process is supported by the existence of ?syamil? book which contains of material on qawaid. With the existence of the book, students were able to translate books containing subject matter with the help of the book of syamil. Therefore, the purpose of learning can be directly conveyed and students' understanding of qawaid translation if it can be done outside the classroom.

Abstract

Mind Mapping learning, that uses images and text with a purpose to describe the instructional ideas and concepts, gets lot attention by academicians. A renewal of Arabic learning method and strategy through mind mapping needs to be implemented in Arabic learning. The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of Mind Mapping to improve students? Arabic speaking skill. The research method used in this research was descriptive quantitative by emphasizing the improvement of students' speaking abilities and eliminating boredom in learning Arabic. The analysis process presented the results of scores carried out before and after the implementation of mind mapping in Arabic learning. The results of this study were Mind Mapping strategy was effective in learning Arabic, especially in learning speaking skills, because it gave students the courage to bring out new vocabulary they must master. The results were known from the difference between students? attitude and effectiveness of mind mapping before using this instructional strategy. Based on the percentage results, the success rate of learning rose by 30% and the level of boredom of students in learning decreased by 35%. It means that this strategy can be implemented to improve Arabic speaking skill of students with joyful learning.

Abstract

Abstract

Online and offline learning practices must not ignore pedagogy, psychology, technology, instructional content, and other aspects of teaching and learning process. Instructional content needs more attention during and after Covid-19 pandemic because it must match the characteristics of students. Therefore, this problem has led to the development of mE-Book for Arabic learning in Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). This research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of mE-Book as instructional content for Arabic language learning in Canvas LMS and the extent of mE-Book acceptance by students in the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) 3. This research used a nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design by comparing two groups with and without mE-Book and the interview to know the students’ point of view about mE-Book. The results showed that mE-Book was effective as instructional content for Arabic language learning in Canvas LMS with large effect based on effect size criteria. Students’ perspectives showed that the use of mE-Book as instructional content for Arabic language learning in Canvas LMS is interesting for online and offline learning. In conclusion, students could accept mE-Book in learning activity in Canvas LMS because it eased students in Arabic language learning.

Abstract

This study analyzed Majaz mursal contained in Surah Al-Baqarah according to Bayan Science Perspective.  Majaz mursal is part of majaz lughawi which discusses the use of lafazd not for its original meaning because there is alaqah which is in addition to likeness and there is also currynah that blocks understanding with the meaning of haqiqi (original). Research methods are libraryresearch, and data analysis techniques that use qualitative descriptive analysis techniques.   The result of this study is that "Majaz mursal in surat Al-Baqarah there are sixteen verses, namely Majaz Sababiyah is in verse 55, Musabbabiyah is in verses 174, 235, Majaz Juziyyah is found in verses 43, 112, 115, 125, 144, 177. Kuliyyah is found in verses 50, 19, Majaz I'tibaru ma'kana is not found in surat Al-Baqarah, Majaz I'tibaru maa yakuunu is found in verses 17, 49, 230, Majaz Mahaliyyah is found in verse 9, Majaz Haliyyah is found in verse 81, and Majaz Aliyah is not found in Surah Al-Baqarah.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyse the process of using digital books to learn Arabic and its impact on online Arabic learning. The research was conducted at MTs Wahid Hasyim 01 Malang. This study took a qualitative approach and conducted case study research. An Arabic teacher and ten eighth-grade students from MTs. Wahid Hasyim and Malang served as research subjects. Data collection methods used are observation, interview, and documentary. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman interactive technique by going through the stages of data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the implementation of the utilisation is carried out through three stages of digital books by following the Ministry of Education and Culture's distance learning guidelines and taking scenario A through the processes of preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Students are of the view that using digital books makes them more interested in learning, helps them concentrate more, and can improve their learning outcomes.
