Abstract

Learning Arabic at the university level for non-language majors was still a problem, and it was still being developed. This research aimed to see how well the Little Circle Arabic Learning (LCAL) learning model worked in practice. Students majoring in Islamic Religious Education who are learning the native language at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang's Arabic Language Development Program (PPBA) were the subject of this study, which used a quantitative approach. The method of data collection were questionnaires and tests. While the data analysis used is descriptive quantitative to process the results of the questionnaire. The sample t-test is related to processing the test results. Based on the t-test results, this research indicates that the Little Circle Arabic Learning (LCAL) model effectively taught Arabic at the university level. There was also an increase in competence in students in terms of kalam, vocabulary, and translation. This LCAL learning model can also improve the ability to interact with teams in groups and the student's self-confidence. These components support students being able to speak Arabic.

Abstract

The development of the Arabic language performance curriculum in this study is carried out by reconstructing the curriculum design based on ACTFL and Douglas Brown's thoughts. The development model follows the steps set by Jack C. Richard. Needs analysis is carried out by simultaneously combining objective need analysis (questionnaire and interview) with subjective need analysis (review of the ACTFL document and Douglas Brown's thoughts). The results determine that the objectives, teaching materials, learning activities of Arabic language performance learning are arranged by considering three things of necessaries, and lack. The reconstruction results show that the Arabic language performance curriculum is directed at achieving five language performance standards, namely communication, cultures, comparison, communication. And to achieve that, speaking learning activities are designed to be imitative, intensive, responsive, interactive and extensive. Meanwhile, writing skills are at the order of the level of imitative, intensive, responsive, and extensive.

Abstract

Indonesia is currently trying to reorganize the education system post-pandemic by using  hybrid learning system. In this hybrid learning process, lecturers are required to grow and develop their  creativity. This article described the mapping of the model of second language teaching lecturers both English and Arabic at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang on creativity in teaching, in particular to find out how well they understand the concept of creativity and the implementation of creative teaching in the form of classroom activities. This method used was qualitative approach with the type of content analysis. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 21 second language lecturers, then the data were analyzed using Krippendorff content analysis. The results of this study indicated that second language lecturers had a comprehensive understanding of the demands of creativity in this post-pandemic, because they can clearly explained the meaning of creativity both in ideas and in its realization. In addition to understood creativity and its implementation in teaching activities, this research also showed the synergy between individual creativity as reflected in professional teaching and organizational creativity as seen from the readiness of this university to develop students' creative attitudes through support for campus facilities.

Abstract

التكنولوجيا يؤثر إلى تطوير التعليم لاسيما في تعليم اللغة العربية. لذلك يهدف هذا البحث في عرض عملية تعليم اللغة العربية بوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي يوتوب. إما في عملية تعليم النحو ونتائج فيديو التي قد انتشره الطلاب عبر يوتوب. يستخدم هذا البحث المنهج الوصفي الذي يصف استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي يوتوب لطلبة قسم تعليم اللغة العربية بجامعة مولانا مالك إبراهيم الإسلامية الحكومية مالانج. والنتيجة من هذا البحث هي أن يوتوب واحد من الوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي الذي يستطيع مدرس اللغة العربية استخدامه في عملية تعليم اللغة العربية خاصة في تعليم النحو حتي يشعر الطلاب هذا تعليم النحو ممتعة.

Abstract

This study measures the development of creativity in a project carried out by students related to Arabic speaking skills. A qualitative method was adopted for the study involving 22 students divided into five FGD groups. The assessment of creativity through the FGD process until the project results is carried out by referring to the criteria and points contained in the rubric for assessing the creativity of the project that has been prepared beforehand. The results of this study describe the measurement of student project creativity based on the criteria of format, concept, creativity, spoken language used and the overall assessment of the project. From these measurements, it is known that students have average creativity in the design of Arabic speaking video projects. This means that a project can help foster a student's creative attitude, and help improve it, so it needs to be included in every lesson, especially learning languages such as Arabic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between learning civics education and the formation of students' character, knowing what character education is, and the role of teachers in civics education in the formation of students' character. Citizenship education is an integral part of the national education system. Character education is good or superior, a system of instilling character values ​​in school members which includes components of knowledge, awareness or will, and actions to implement these values. This research uses descriptive method and qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that the learning of citizenship education in schools has a relationship with the formation of the character of students, and also the teacher has an important role in the formation of good character for students because what the teacher does will certainly be emulated by students because they consider what is done by the teacher is true especially as a civics education teacher.

Abstract

This study explored how to use ecological approach to provide more contextual and relevant learning experiences for students. The use of an ecological approach in language learning is systematically reviewed in this work using a comprehensive literature review methodology. The review process is methodologically designed as a result of these processes adhering to a clear and transparent framework. The 35 articles found are then selected by inclusion and exclusion categories to produce 7 articles for analysis according to the literature review focusing on language learning both internally and externally. Key findings from the selected studies are examined to acquire a thorough grasp of the impact of ecological techniques in language learning environments. The findings of the analysis demonstrate that an ecological approach to language acquisition has the potential to significantly improve students' learning experiences by using an inclusive, responsive, and holistic approach.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (PTK) was motivated by the low interest of students in Civics subjects. This is thought to be due to a lack of adequate reference sources, which makes students have to write a lot of study material which then makes them feel bored and boring. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) aims to increase student motivation and learning outcomes by using digital media (YouTube and Online Games) on the material "Digital Literacy for Student Progress" at Sunan Giri Middle School, Probolinggo City. The benefits of Classroom Action Research (PTK) are: it can provide information about the causes of students' low interest in Civics subjects as well as ways to increase student motivation. Classroom Action Research (PTK) can provide greater opportunities for students to gain knowledge by using media. digital in the learning process, so that it has an impact on improving student learning outcomes, besides that it can also be used as input material in an effort to increase student motivation and learning outcomes in Civics subjects. Thus, students' interest in learning about Civics subjects increases. Classroom Action Research consists of 2 cycles. Data from this research was obtained from teachers (observers) and students through observation, tests and documentation. Based on research data from cycle I to cycle II, data was obtained that students' interest and learning outcomes in the learning process through digital media (YouTube and Online Games) had increased significantly from previous learning which used the summarizing method. So the conclusion is that the application of digital media (YouTube and Online Games) can increase student interest and learning outcomes in Civics subjects at Sunan Giri Middle School, Probolinggo City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang rancang bangun aplikasi "Kitabah for Kids" untuk mendukung pembelajaran bahasa Arab bagi anak-anak. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk menyediakan media pembelajaran yang interaktif, menarik, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak-anak. Dalam proses pengembangannya, penilaian dari para ahli di bidang desain dan konten pembelajaran menjadi input yang berharga untuk memastikan aplikasi ini memenuhi standar kualitas yang dibutuhkan. model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah pegembangan stanford university dengan tahapan empathy, define, ideate, prototype, dan test untuk merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi "kitabah for kids" sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa arab untuk anak-anak. Hasil validasi dari para ahli menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi "Kitabah for Kids" telah mempertimbangkan dengan baik aspek desain dan konten pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Dari sisi desain, aplikasi ini dinilai intuitif, mudah diakses, dan mampu menjaga atensi anak-anak melalui fitur interaktif yang menarik. Sedangkan dari sisi konten, materi pembelajaran yang disajikan dianggap sesuai dengan kurikulum bahasa Arab yang berlaku, sehingga dapat menjadi sumber belajar yang efisien dan relevan. Meskipun demikian, masukan dari para ahli juga mengidentifikasi beberapa aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan, seperti penyempurnaan navigasi, struktur informasi yang lebih jelas, serta penambahan fitur interaktif lainnya. Dengan memperhatikan saran-saran tersebut, pengembangan aplikasi "Kitabah for Kids" diharapkan dapat menjadi alat bantu pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang efektif dan menyenangkan bagi anak-anak.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The ability to read the yellow book is one of the most things to develop Arabic Language Skills. The process of learning the yellow book has an influence in improving students' speaking skills. Wich one is learning nahwu and sharaf with the yellow book and the question and the answer process during the learning process. Thus, researchers see an effect on fluency in speaking and whether or not the rules of nahwu and sharaf are correct in students during the learning process in class or when speaking in Arabic. The aims of this study were: (1) To find out how the process of learning the yellow book at Sabilurrosyad Islamic Boarding School Malang. (2) To find out how much effect the ability of the yellow book in improving the speaking skills of grade nine students of Sabiluurrosyad Islamic Boarding School Malang. This study uses a quantitative approach and experimental method with the type of Pre-Experimental Designs. The data collection methods in this study were observation, tests (pre-test and post-test), and documentation. The results of this study are: (1) Learning to Read the Yellow Book at Sabilurrosyad Islamic Boarding School Using the Jurumiyah Reading Module Book with the learning process of the teacher reading and explaining the material first then students appreciate, understand and reread with other books that have not been harokati in front of the subject teacher read the book. (2) The ability to read the yellow book can improve students' speaking skills. These results were obtained from observations in experimental classes, student activity was quite high, namely 80% and teacher activity 78%, Improvement in Speaking Skills due to ineffective learning of the yellow book in grade nine students of Sablurrosyad Islamic Boarding School Malang. Based on the average result of the experimental class, which is 36% based on the N-Gain score. The results of the t-test obtained a significant value = 0.000 smaller than 0.005 thus H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. ملخص كفاءة كتاب التراث من أهم الأشياء المهمة لتطوير مهارة اللغة العربية. عملية تعلمية قراءة كتاب التراث لها تأثير في تحسين مهارة الكلام الطلاب. من بعض هو تعليم نحوو وصرف في قراءة كتاب التراث وعملية الأسئلة والأجوبة أثناء عملية التعلمية. قامت يرى الباحثة تأثير الطلاقة كانت كلام بفصيح و قواعد نحوو وصرف أثناء عملية التعلمية في الفصل أو عند الكلام باللغة العربية. أهداف هذا البحث هي: (1) لمعرفة كيف عملية تعليمة قراءة كتاب التراث في سبيل الرشاد معهد الإسلامية مالانج. (2) لمعرفة ما مدى تأثير كفاءة قراءة كتاب التراث في تحسين قدرة مهارة الكلام لطلاب الصف التاسع بمعهد سبيل الرشاد الإسلامية مالانج. استخدمت الباحثة في هذا البحث مدخل الكمي بمنهج تجربي في تصاميم ما قبل التجريبية. وأما طريقة جمع البيانات في هذا البحث هي الملاحظة، التوثيق و الاختبارات (الاختبار القبلي والبعدي). نتائج هذا البحث هي: (1) تعليم قراءة كتاب التراث في معهد سبيل الرشاد بمالانج استخدم كتاب وحدة القراءة الجرومية مع عملية التعلمية يقرأ المعلم ويشرح المادة أولا ثم يقدر الطلاب ويفهمون ويعيدون قراءتها مع الكتاب الأخرى التي لم يتم حركة أمام معلم المادة قراءة الكتاب. (2) كفاءة قراءة كتاب التراث تحسين مهارة الكلام لطلاب. تم الحصول على هذه النتائج من نتائج الملاحظة في الفصل التجريبي وحصلت الطلاب نتائج عالية الطلاب أي 80% والمدرس 78%، تحسين مهارة الكلام بسبب كفاءة الكتاب التراث لدى طلاب الصف التاسع في معهد الإسلامة الحكومية سبيل الرشاد مالانج غير فعالة. بناء على متوسط نتيجة الفصل التجريبي، وهو 36٪ بناء على درجة N-Gain. وحصلت نتائج اختبار t على قيمة معنوية = 0.000 أصغر من 0.05، بحيث تم H1 مقبول وتم H0 مرفوض.
