Abstract

Terjadi masalah terhadap pemahaman konsep bangun ruang siswa terutama saat pembelajaran online yang diduga disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang belum memfasilitasi siswa untuk memvisualisasi bangun ruang secara konkret, efektif, dan efisien, dimana pembelajaran hanya mengandalkan buku/modul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari solusi alternatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bangun ruang siswa dengan mengkaji efektivitas penggunaan video pembelajaran berbasis GeoGebra dalam kelas virtual. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 6 Buton Tengah dengan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII.A dan siswa kelas VIII.B. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain posttest only control group design. Kelas VIII.A bertindak sebagai kelas eksperimen (kelas yang menerima pembelajaran menggunakan video berbasis GeoGebra) sedangkan kelas VIII.B bertindak sebagai kelas kontrol (kelas yang menerima pembelajaran menggunakan modul/buku). Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif (mean, median, modus, standar deviasi, maksimum, dan minimum) dan analisis inferensial (uji independent sample t-test). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan pembelajaran menggunakan video berbasis GeoGebra lebih baik dan efektif terhadap pemahaman konsep bangun ruang siswa dibanding pembelajaran menggunakan modul/buku. Siswa yang menerima pembelajaran menggunakan video berbasis GeoGebra menunjukkan partisipasi yang lebih aktif baik dalam bertanya maupun menjawab pertanyaan. Ini membantu mereka untuk tidak hanya menghafal informasi, tetapi juga memproses dan merenungkan konsep-konsep bangun ruang dengan lebih mendalam.

Abstract

Kebun gizi merupakan program yang bertujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan buah dan sayur dengan memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan. Desa Tanggeau yang terletak di Kecamatan Polinggona Kabupaten Kolaka ikut mengimplementasikan program kebun gizi. Hasil obeservasi menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan kebun gizi dipekarangan desa dalam perawatan dan pemanfaatannya belum maksimal, sehingga tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat USN Kolaka berinisiatif melakukan pembenahan dan penanaman kembali di kebun gizi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan tujuan menumbuhkan perilaku hidup sehat melalui pemanfaatan kebun gizi dan sebagai acuan bagi masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan rumah masing-masing untuk membuat kebun gizi. Kebun gizi yang dibenahi dimulai dari pembersihan, penanaman dan perawatan memakan waktu sekitar satu bulan. Hasil yang diperoleh, tanaman yang ditanam di kebun gizi terpantau sudah mulai tumbuh dan berkembang. Selanjutnya proses pemeliharaan kebun gizi diserahkan sepenuhnya kepada masyarakat dengan harapan dapat memanfaatkan hasil yang diperoleh dari kebun gizi yang dibenahi dan ditanami kembali oleh tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat USN Kolaka.

Abstract

This study examines the mathematical communication skills of eighth-grade students in solving exponential problems. Effective mathematical communication enables students to articulate ideas clearly through writing, drawings, or symbols. A descriptive qualitative method was used, involving three students with high, medium, and low math abilities. Data were collected via problem-solving tasks and semi-structured interviews to analyze students' strategies and thought processes. Results revealed notable differences in skills: high-ability students developed accurate models but lacked consistency, medium-ability students had a sufficient foundation but struggled with contextual interpretation, and low-ability students relied on basic operations without grasping the problem's context. These findings emphasize the need for adaptive learning approaches tailored to students' abilities to enhance mathematical communication. Study limitations include a small sample size and narrow topic focus. Future research should explore broader samples and topics to deepen insights, contributing to the development of more responsive math teaching methods that effectively foster mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan hasil wawancara disekolah yang mengungkapkan bahwa kemampuan numerasi siswa masih rendah, yang diduga model pembelajaran yang tidak bervariasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen semu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Realistick Mathematic Education terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah teknik cluster random sampling dengan jumlah 70 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi menunjukkan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan kategori sangat baik dan aktivitas siswa dengan kategori sangat aktif . Hasil uji paired varians terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan pembelajaran Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) terhadap kemampuan numerasi peserta didk kelas X SMA N 1 Latambaga dengan materi Sisitem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the ability of mathematical representation of Grade VIII2 students at SMP Negeri 3 Raha 2018/2019 Academic Year during mathematics learning activities with the application of cooperative learning model in the type group investigation with open ended problem approach. The type of research is classroom researh of two cycles based on teaching syllabus of the mathematics teacher in class VIII2. Each cycle is carried ot based on the competency standards to be achieved in learning. The cycle in this class action research through four stages, namely : planning of action; implementation of action; observation and evaluation; reflection. Based on the result of research conducted on the Grade VIII2 students at SMP Negeri 3 Raha 2018/2019 Academic Year on the competency standards: calculating area and volume of prism and pyramid using cooperative learning model in the type group investigation with open ended problem approach can improve the ability of mathematical representation, which are : respones and learning outcomes shown in cycle II are primly goodand the students scoreof mathematical representation test capability in each cycle has improve signivicantly, until 80% on the last cycle. Moreover, the results showed that there are only 4 students from total 20 students who obtain score 68 which is the minimum completeness criteria set by the school . Student activities and learning management by the teacher in the learning process also increased to cycle II reaching an average of 82% and 81%. Therefore, learning by applying cooperative learning model in the type group investigation with open ended problem approach can improve the ability of mathematical representation

Abstract

An important aspect that students must possess is good self-efficacy and self-esteem. Several indicators that support achieving these goals are found in self-efficacy and self-esteem to gain students' mathematical communication. The main objective of this research is to determine whether the mathematical communication ability of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Buton Tengah can be jointly affected by self-efficacy and self-esteem. This research is ex post facto research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Buton Tengah, with a total of 149 students with a total sample of 30 students obtained using the proportional random sampling technique-data collection techniques using questionnaires and tests. Data analysis used inferential analysis using F-test and t-test. The results of this study are as follows : (1) The mathematical communication ability of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Buton Tengah is significantly affected by self-efficacy and self-esteem with F_count=5,625< 3,34=F_tab ; (2) Mathematical communication ability are not significantly affected by self-efficacy with t_count=0,296> 2,052=t_tab; (3) Mathematical communication ability is significantly affected by self-esteem witht_count=31,82< 2,052=t_tab.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-concept on the mathematical creative thinking ability of class VIII SMPN 1 Loea. This type of research is Ex-Post Fact with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study consisted of 30 students of class VIII SMPN 1 Loea. The research instrument used is a self-concept questionnaire consisting of 23 statements and a mathematical creative thinking ability test consisting of 5 questions. The results showed that : 1) there is 1 student with high category self-concept, 11 students with moderat category and 3 students with low category and 3 students with low category ; 2) there are 3 students with creative thinking skills which are classified as very creative, 4 students in the creative category, 15 students in the quite creative category, 6 students in the less creative category and 2 students in the non-creative category; and 3) there is a significant positive effect of self-concept on the mathematical creative thinking ability of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Loea with the percentage contribution of the influence of the self-concept variable on the mathematical creative thinking ability of 53.8%

Abstract

ABSTRACTCommunity Service Program are a routine program from universities as a manifestation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in Indonesia which refers to academic activities and involves the community directly, so that it can be useful for solving social problems that occur in society. The methods used to identify problems in society are observation, survey and documentation methods. One of the areas that is the object of KKN Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka is Tanggeau Village, which still lacks information on how to obtain, use, store and dispose of (DAGUSIBU) drugs correctly and appropriately. Based on this, USN Kolaka KKN students conducted DAGUSIBU socialization using the door-to-door method in Tanggeau Village. The hope from the socialization activities is that the public can increase their understanding regarding how to obtain, use, store and dispose of drugs that are no longer needed. Socialization activities with the help of leaflet media ran systematically and smoothly. Based on the KKN activity report, the community has shown an increased understanding of the DAGUSIBU program.Keywords : socialization, DAGUSIBU, Tanggeau Village.ABSTRAKKuliah Kerja Nyata merupakan program rutin dari perguruan tinggi sebagai wujud Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia yang telah mengacu dengan kegiatan akademis dan melibatkan masyarakat langsung, sehingga dapat bermanfaat untuk memecahkan permasalahan sosial yang terjadi dimasyarakat. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan di masyarakat yaitu metode observasi, survey, dokumentasi. Salah satu wilayah yang menjadi objek KKN USN Kolaka adalah Desa Tanggeau yang masih kurang dalam mendapatkan informasi tentang cara mendapatkan, menggunakan, menyimpan, dan membuang (DAGUSIBU) obat dengan benar dan tepat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, mahasiswa KKN USN Kolaka melakukan sosialisasi DAGUSIBU dengan metedo door to door di Desa Tanggeau. Harapan dari kegiatan sosialisasi adalah agar masyarakat dapat meningkat pemahaman mengenai cara mendapatkan, menggunakan, menyimpan hingga membuang obat yang tidak dibutuhkan lagi. Kegiatan sosialisasi dengan bantuan media leaflet berjalan dengan sistematis dan lancar. Berdasarkan laporan kegiatan KKN bahwa, masyarakat sudah menunjukkan pemahaman yang meningkat tentang program DAGUSIBU.Kata Kunci : sosialisasi; DAGUSIBU; Desa Tanggeau
