Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia which play a role in shaping the character of students through moral education. However, there are still students who do not understand ethics, such as a lack of respect for their elders, being late for class, and a lack of attention to learning. One of the books used in moral education in Islamic boarding schools is Akhlak Lil Banin Juz 1, which contains moral values to shape the character of good students. Therefore, this research aims to determine the implementation of moral education values in the book Akhlak Lil Banin Juz 1 in the character formation of grade 3 students at the Nurul Anwar Islamic Boarding School, Metro City. There are still some students who do not understand morals, lack student ethics towards older people in their behavior, are late for class, sleep during the learning process, do not pay attention to the teacher's explanations so that when asked directly by the teacher the students are confused about the answer. The author used qualitative research methods in this research. Researchers chose to use field research, where data collection is carried out directly in the field by observing phenomena in natural conditions. The results of this research are that the implementation of moral education must be carried out from an early age because it is very important for social life in society or in the environment. The best application of akhlakul karimah is to get used to living in a religious environment such as in an Islamic boarding school or ma'had which is based on strong religious education, thereby prioritizing good habits, such as the saying "You can because you get used to it".

Abstract

Resource-based learning is an educational approach that captivates students by providing a novel atmosphere, thereby enhancing their motivation throughout the learning process. This study aims to elucidate the implementation of resource-based learning concerning the management of corpses at Ma Ma'arif Roudhlotut Tholibin in Metro City, specifically in Class X, while examining the method's execution and its impact on students' engagement with resource-based learning. This research adopts a qualitative methodology, employing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The study subjects include the head of the madrasah, the Fiqh subject teacher, and the students of Class X at Ma Ma'arif Roudhlotut Tholibin Metro. The validity of the data is ensured through triangulation, while data analysis involves reduction, conclusion drawing, and presentation. The findings indicate that during the corpse management lessons, the instructor employs the RBL learning method, utilising resources such as the school environment, textbooks, videos, and various teaching aids. This approach fosters student enthusiasm and cultivates a conducive learning atmosphere. Consequently, Fiqh teachers engaged in resource-based learning can effectively motivate students, creating an engaging environment that facilitates a comprehensive understanding of corpse management principles.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a strategic role in developing students' creativity and innovation to face the challenges of modern life while still prioritizing Islamic values. This research aims to explore the role of PAI teachers in encouraging the development of student creativity and innovation, as well as identifying learning challenges and solutions at SMP Negeri 9 Pulung Kencana. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation, which are analyzed using an interactive model (data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions). The results of the research show that PAI teachers have a central role as facilitators, motivators, and inspirers in learning that supports the development of student creativity. The use of technology-based learning methods, project approaches, and digital media helps students think critically and creatively. Teachers also create interactive learning environments that allow students to explore, discuss and collaborate. PAI school principals and teachers emphasize the importance of teacher training and learning approaches that are relevant to current developments to encourage students to learn actively and creatively.

Abstract

The emergence of Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 has had a major impact on the world of education, including on the formation of student character. This research aims to find out why students are reluctant to follow the habits that have been implemented at school, such as dhuha prayers in congregation, reading the Koran before learning and other religious habits. Apart from that, this research also aims to identify the causes and impacts of ethics shown by students in their interactions with teachers and peers. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. This research involved PAI teachers and class IX students as the main respondents. The research results show that character education strategies are implemented through routine activities, role modeling and character cultivation. Routine activities are carried out through religious activities such as reading the Koran before learning and praying Dhuha together. The teacher's example plays an important role in forming students' attitudes of discipline and responsibility. Meanwhile, character cultivation helps students. This activity aims to make students aware of religious values, especially in training to be able to give alms. However, this research also found challenges in character education, especially in maintaining consistent student behavior outside of school and the minimal use of technology in character learning. The conclusion of this research confirms that the implementation of PAI in forming students' Islamic personalities in the industrial era 5.0 requires an innovative approach that integrates religious values with technology. Therefore, adaptive strategies are needed, including the use of digital media to support more effective and sustainable character learning

Abstract

This research is based on the decline in interest in reading the Qur'an that occurs in the nation's young generation among the factors causing it is negative parenting style, family interaction that is less supportive in creating a conducive home environment to stimulate children's interest in the habit of reading the Quran. This research aims to improve the habit of reading the Qur'an in children. The research approach uses a qualitative approach through a qualitative descriptive method The source of data for this research is the head of RTQ (raudhatul ta'limil qur'an), students and parents of RTQ subulus sholah. Data analysis technique with three main steps. namely data reduction, data display and data verification. The results of the study showed the development of Santri in the habit of reading the Quran.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of implementing the habit of reading the Asmaul Husna, the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of implementing the habit, in order to shape the religious character of students at SMP Ma'arif 1 Metro. The type of research used is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection method was carried out in three stages, namely: Observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques are: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research found that: The results of the research show that the formation of religious character is carried out through synergy between routine religious activities (such as congregational midday prayers, reading Surah Yasin and Asma'ul Husna), teacher example, and integrating character values in the learning process. Even though there are obstacles such as low student awareness and lack of consistency in learning, teachers still play an important role as motivators and role models. The gradual cultivation of religious character shows a positive impact on changes in student behavior, both in the school environment and in everyday life. These findings emphasize the importance of PAI learning as an effective medium in forming students' religious character holistically.

Abstract

The phenomenon of a hedonistic lifestyle among urban adolescents shows a worrying trend, especially in the context of social transformation in the digital era. This study aims to examine the role of parents in instilling anti-hedonistic life values in adolescents in Metro City. A qualitative approach with a case study type was used to explore in-depth forms of role modeling, internalizing spiritual values, and social control strategies within the family environment. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive model. The results show that parents play an active role through three main approaches: first, role modeling in living a simple life that instills the values of contentment and asceticism; second, habituating worship and positive behavior from an early age that strengthens children's moral and spiritual awareness; and third, social control based on dialogue and trust that creates an educational climate within the family. These three strategies have effectively fortified adolescents from consumer culture's influence and formed independent, resilient, and religious characters. This study emphasizes the importance of the family as the primary institution in character education based on Islamic values amidst the challenges of modernity and globalization.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is: What is the role of PAI teachers in developing spiritual intelligence in students? Meanwhile, the aim of the research is to determine the role of PAI teachers in fostering spiritual intelligence in students. This qualitative research was conducted at SMAN 1 Adiluwih. Data collection techniques consist of interview, observation and documentation methods. Data sources consist of two primary and secondary data sources. Meanwhile, the validity of the data uses triangulation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in developing students' spiritual intelligence at SMAN 1 Adiluwih consists of: First, the role of teachers as educators, namely getting students to respect their teachers, getting used to memorizing short letters, memorizing verses from the Koran, and holding prayers. congregation. Second, the role of the teacher as a guide is to always provide positive direction, provide guidance by communicating well, knowing the desires and character of students, not discriminating between students, providing good examples, getting used to discipline, and equalizing students. Third, the teacher's role as a motivator is to provide encouragement to always study diligently, provide positive direction, provide enthusiasm for learning, and provide appreciation in the form of grades, participate in learning activities, provide motivation through stories of success, and provide warnings to students. The novelty in this research is that this research uses three role indicators, namely the role of the teacher as an educator, the role of the teacher as a guide and the role of the teacher as a motivator, which so far have not been found in scientific work as research indicators, especially in terms of developing students' spiritual intelligence. Aswaja is a method of looking at various problems in people's lives and thoughts (Minhaj al-Fikr). Nahdlatul Ulama members are guided by this view to act and behave in accordance with religious teachings. This research tries to find out how aswaja learning is implemented in shaping the religious and social behavior of students at SMP Ma'arif 1 Metro. This research takes a qualitative approach in data collection, using methods such as documentation studies, interviews and observations. Research findings show that by deepening the subject matter and daily practice, Aswaja NU learning carried out both inside and outside the classroom helps shape students' social and religious behavior. The inhibiting factor for Aswaja NU learning at SMP Ma'arif 1 Metro is the lack of reading literature.
