Abstract

Latar Belakang: Demam tifoid adalah infeksi sistemik disebabkan oleh Salmonella Typhi, melalui makanan atau air yang terkontaminasi menyebabkan trombositopenia mengancam jiwa penderita demam tifoid.Tujuan mengetahui gambaran jumlah trombosit pada penderita demam tifoid di Rumah Sakit Islam Siti Khadijah Kota Palembang Tahun 2021. Metode deskriptif rancang cross sectional. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini seluruh penderita demam tifoid di Rumah Sakit Islam Siti Khadijah Palembang Tahun 2021 sebanyak 85 penderita. Hasil dari 85 data sebanyak 64 orang 75,3% trombosit normal dan 21 orang 24,7% trombosit tidak normal. Pada penderita demam tifoid kategori umur sebanyak 36 orang berumur <12 tahun 75,0% trombosit normal dan 25,0% trombosit tidak normal. Dan 20 penderita demam tifoid yang berumur 12-25 tahun di dapat sebanyak 75,0% trombosit normal dan sebanyak 25,0% trombosit tidak normal. Dan 29 penderita demam tifoid kategori >25 tahun sebanyak 53.5% trombosit normal dan sebanyak 24,1% trombosit tidak normal. Pada penderita kategori suhu tubuh normal berjumlah 35 orang didapatkan 71,4% trombosit normal dan 28,6% trombosit tidak normal. Sedangkan kategori suhu tubuh tidak normal berjumlah 50 orang didapatkan 78.0% trombosit normal dan 22.0% trombosit tidak normal. pada penderita demam tifoid kategori jenis kelamin dari 56 yang berjenis kelamin perempuan didapatkan 80,4% trombosit normal dan 19.6% trombosit tidak normal. Sedangkan dari 29 orang berjenis kelamin laki laki sebanyak 65,5% trombosit normal dan 65,5% trombosit tidak normal.. Kesimpulan: hasil ditemukan jumlah trombosit normal. Kata kunci : Demam tifoid, trombosit, trombositopenia.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of ChatGPT in enhancing the speaking skills of EFL undergraduate students in the Hospital Administration program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro. A quasi-experimental research design was employed, involving 42 first-semester students divided into two groups: 21 students in ARS 1 as the experimental group and 21 students in ARS 2 as the control group. The experimental group received treatment using specific prompts designed to initiate conversations with ChatGPT. Data were collected through oral tests conducted before and after the intervention (pre-test and post-test). The results indicate a statistically significant improvement in the speaking skills of students in the experimental group. Hypothesis testing showed a significance value of <0.000 for the first hypothesis and 0.004 for the second, both below the threshold of 0.05, indicating that the alternative hypotheses were accepted. In conclusion, the use of ChatGPT had a positive and significant effect on improving the speaking skills of EFL students in the Hospital Administration program. The results highlight the potential of ChatGPT to supplement classroom speaking activities, while contributing to research on AI in EFL learning
