This article discusses the impact of communication technology on family interactions using the literature study method. The research analyzes various sources to understand how technological advances, such as instant messaging apps and video calls, affect family communication dynamics. The results show that communication technology can increase the frequency and quality of interactions, allowing family members to stay connected despite being separated by geographical distance. However, on the other hand, excessive use of technology can reduce the quality of face-to-face communication, which is important for building emotional closeness. In addition, generational differences in technology utilization often create communication gaps that can potentially trigger conflict. Therefore, this article emphasizes the importance of balance in the use of technology to maintain harmony and meaning of communication in families in the digital era.

This research aims to increase environmental awareness for PAUD Karya Bakti Medan children through counseling on organic and inorganic waste sorting. This study uses a qualitative approach. This research was carried out at Paud Karya Bakti which is located on Jalan karya Bakti no 124, Indra Kasih Medan Tembung District, Deli Serdang Regency. Data collection techniques were collected using interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis process is carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis show that counseling on organic and inorganic waste sorting can increase environmental awareness for PAUD Karya Bakti Medan children. PAUD Karya Bakti Medan children who participated in counseling for organic and inorganic waste sorting had better knowledge and environmental awareness compared to children who did not participate in counseling. Counseling on organic and inorganic waste sorting can help PAUD Karya Bakti Medan children understand the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness and reducing negative impacts on the environment.

Hasil survey yang dilakukan di Desa Kalasey Dua Kecamatan Mandolang Kabupaten Minahasa didapatkan jumlah Pasangan Usia Subur (PUS) sebanyak 792 orang, ibu hamil 17 orang, kader kesehatan 7 orang. Menurut laporan PWS-KIA Puskesmas Tateli jumlah ibu hamil bulan Januari 2019 sampai Juni 2019 sebanyak 612 orang, ibu hamil dengan kadar hemoglobin ≤ 11 gr% sebanyak 10 %, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil masih cukup tinggi. Metode Pendidikan/penyuluhan kesehatan tentang manfaat buah naga dan anemia pada kehamilan dengan metode ceramah, pemberian leaflet dan diskusi. Pemeriksaan hemoglobin (Hb) pada ibu hamil, wanita usia subur (WUS) dan kader kesehatan. Pemberian buah naga pada ibu hamil, wanita usia subur (WUS) dan kader kesehatan selama 7 hari. Pemantauan hasil dengan melakukan pemeriksaan kembali kadar Hb ibu hamil, wanita usia subur (WUS) dan kader kesehatan berjumlah 75 orang. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat bahwa buah naga sangat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan hemoglobin pada ibu hamil, WUS dan kader karena sebagian besar terjadi peningkatan kadar hemoglobin. Diharapkan mengkonsumsi buah naga untuk meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin

Background: During the postpartum period, mothers often seek to maintain abdominal slimness by utilizing compression garments like stagen or bengkung. However, advancements in textile technology have led to a decline in the popularity of stagen, with corsets emerging as a preferred alternative due to their perceived practicality. Corsets, known for their flexible yet durable woven texture, serve as effective abdominal binders, aiding in both aesthetic preservation and posture Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of custom-made soft corsets in reducing abdominal circumference among postpartum mothers. The findings are anticipated to offer insights into the comfort and efficacy of using these corset models to promote abdominal muscle tightening in postpartum individuals. Methods: The design is quasi-experimental. Data analysis includes univariate analysis in the form of respondent characteristic data and multivariate analysis with General Linear Model Repeated Measures (GLM RM). Results: The difference in average abdominal circumference in the intervention group decreased, namely in measurement I of 89.4 cm (SD = 8.56), measurement II of 77.67 (SD = 7.51) cm and measurement III of 69.67 cm (SD = 8.41), while low back pain of measurement I of 2.73 (SD = 0.46), measurement II of 1.80 (SD = 0.56) and measurement III of 0.40 (0.51). Conclusion: Custom made soft corset treatment for postpartum mothers proved to be more effective in reducing the size of abdominal circumference, namely in the results of the analysis of the interaction between the second and third measurements, seen from a steeper slope, and in low back pain measurements seen from a steeper slope between the first and second measurements.
