Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Background : Hypotension is the most common complication during spinal anesthesia with an incidence of more than 80%. Objective: The study aims to determine the relationship between age and the incidence of hypotension in post-spinal anesthesia patients in the operating room of Tgk General Hospital. Chik Ditiro Sigli. Methods: This study uses cross-sectional analytic types. The population in this study were intraoperative patients under spinal anesthesia at Tgk Chik Ditiro Hospital, Pidie District, Aceh Province in the last 2 months, namely 112 patients. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique of 88 respondents. Data analysis was performed univariately and bivariately using the chi square test. Results: Most of the post-spinal anesthesia patients were early adults (26-35 years) with 40 respondents (45.5%). The incidence of hypotension in post-spinal anesthesia patients was found that most of them did not experience hypotension as many as 54 respondents (61.4%). There is a significant relationship between age and the incidence of hypotension in post-spinal anesthesia patients with a p-value<0.001.. Conclusion: This study concluded that there is a significant relationship between age and the incidence of hypotension in post-spinal anesthesia patients in the operating room of Tgk General Hospital. Abstract

During the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle, which typically begins 7-10 days before menstruation and ends with menstruation, women of childbearing age often experience a collection of physical, behavioral, and emotional symptoms known as premenstrual syndrome (PMS). Stress levels are among the factors that can contribute to PMS. The objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between stress levels and PMS. This research employs a quantitative approach, using descriptive correlation methods and a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 62 respondents, selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a shortened Premenstrual Assessment Form (SPAF) questionnaire and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). Statistical analysis involved the Spearman Rank Test, which revealed a significant relationship between stress levels and PMS among Nursing Study Program students at Harapan Bangsa University Undergraduate Program. The p-value was 0.000, which is less than the significance level (α = 0.05), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0).The correlation coefficient (r) was calculated to be 0.456, indicating a moderate strength of correlation. This suggests that higher stress levels are associated with a greater perceived severity of PMS symptoms. Female students demonstrated an ability to both avoid stressors and manage stress, which can help reduce the occurrence of PMS symptoms

Abstract

Sectio Caesarea (SC) or caesarean section is a delivery with an incision procedure in the abdomen and uterus. Post-operative pain will be caused by a caesarean section. Post-operative pain can be reduced with early mobilization as a non-pharmacological technique. This case study aims to determine whether there is any effect of early mobilization in the reduction of the intensity of pain in patients’ post-operation sectio caesarea in the Flamboyan Room of RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. Qualitative research type with descriptive case study as the research method was used in this study. Total sampling technique with a sample of 1 patient, namely Mrs. I. The data collection method is by interviews and patient medical records. Early mobilization intervention was carried out with an administration time of 15 minutes for 3 days. The results of the case study show a very significant reduction in pain intensity after early mobilization intervention, namely from a scale of 5 to a scale of 3. Early mobilization is important because post-operative pain can be reduced by movement of the body's muscles

This study involved 50 respondents, consisting of fifth and sixth-grade female students who have not experienced menarche at Wiradadi Public Elementary School, selected through the total sampling technique. The statistical test used is the Spearman rank test. The results of this study indicate that the majority of respondents are aged 11 years (48%), have good parental support (35.6%), and have high readiness (42.2%). The research results show a relationship between parental support and the readiness of adolescent girls to face menarche at Wiradadi Public Elementary School, with a moderate strength of relationship (p-value: 0.001; CC = 0.457). In conclusion, there is an average and positive relationship between parental support and the readiness of adolescent girls.
