Abstract

Stroke is a cerebrovascular disease caused by blockage or rupture of blood vessels in certain parts of the brain. Various factors can cause ischemic stroke. This study aims to determine the contribution of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and hypercholesterolemia to the incidence of stroke. This type of study uses a Case-Control design. The respondents of this study were 152 respondents, sampling using a purposive sampling technique. Respondents of patients with conditions suspected of having a stroke based on the symptoms that appear who treated at the Kendari City Hospital. Data collection used measuring instruments (tension meter and easy touch). Data analysis was carried out using univariate and bivariate analysis tests. The results showed that hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and hypercholesterolemia were risk factors for stroke with an estimated value of hypertension = 3.986, diabetes mellitus = 0.289, and hypercholesterolemia = 1.699. Recommendation: Hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and hypercholesterolemia are risk factors for stroke, so it is very important for nurses to provide education to the community so that they can control blood pressure, blood glucose levels, and cholesterol to prevent stroke.

Abstract

Infants are the age of newborns up to one year, who go through a process of development and growth. This process passes quickly, briefly, and cannot be repeated, so it is called the "golden period". In 2015, 16% of Indonesian children had problems with fine motor development. The study's purpose was to describe the development of fine motor and language in infants aged 6-12 months. This study was quantitative, with a descriptive approach. The population was 103 infants. The population was all mothers with infants aged 6-12 months who visited PUSKESMAS Karuwisi, Makassar City. The sample of this study was infants aged 6-12 months. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample number was 51 people. The tool used was the Denver Developmental Screening Test (DDST) Observation Sheet. The Findings showed that the most fine motor skills developments was normal category, as many as 42 (82.4%), and language development was normal category, as many as 39 (76.5%). We can conclude that the highest fine motor development of infants aged 6-12 months was normal category, and the highest language development of infants was normal category. It is hoped that every parent should provide the appropriate stimulation according to the infant's developmental stage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan status gizi untuk kesehatan ibu hamil dan bayi sangat diperlukan untuk mengurangi kejadian risiko stunting dengan melalui program pemberian makanan tambahan, pelatihan pengolahan berbasis makanan lokal juga memberikan ilmu parenting tumbuh kembang anak sehingga dapat meningkatkan taraf kesehatan masyarakat di desa. Peningkatan akses terhadap sumber air bersih dan sanitasi yang baik di Desa Wawatu juga dapat mengurangi penyakit yang diakibatkan oleh lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemberian edukasi kesehatan terkait stunting kepada seluruh masyarakat Desa Wawatu. Pemberian informasi ini dilakukan melalui media leaflet cetak dan slide PowerPoint, dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi. Informasi yang disampaikan mencakup panduan dan pengetahuan tentang pemberian nutrisi yang tepat bagi keluarga dalam upaya mencegah stunting. Hasil penelitian dengan Intervensi Fisik berupa Pemberian Paket Stunting, Demo Masak Abon Ikan, Nugget Kelor, Dan Jahe Latte, Pemberian Makanan Tambahan, Pembagian Masker, Pengadaan Kalender Edukasi Cegah Potensi Stunting, Kunjungan Keluarga Potensi Stunting Melalui Door to Door, Pemberian Vitamin, Pembuatan Kompos Takakura, Pembuatan Saringan Sederhana. Sedangkan Intervensi Non Fisik berupa Penyuluhan Cegah Stunting, Belajar Bersama Masyarakat (BBM) Tentang Bahaya & Pencegahan ISPA, Survey Kepemilikan Jamban Layak, Parenting Pemantauan Tumbuh Kembang Anak. Setelah dilakukan intervensi maka didapatkan hasil yang pengetahuan Masyarakat meningkat dan menambha wawasan lebiih luas tentang pentingnya Kesehatan dan kebersihan lingkungan sekitar.
