Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru dan siswa terhadap penggunaan aplikasi canva sebagai media pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekaatn campuran yaitu gabungan antara pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif, untuk mengumpulkan data komprehensif dari guru yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran menggunakan canva sebagai media desain. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitaif untuk hasil kuesioner dan teknik deskriptif kualitatif untuk hasil wawancara. Melalui penggunaan aplikasi canva ini diharapkan guru dapat membuat media pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif guna meningkatkan minat dan motivasi peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Hasil dari kuesioner menunjukkan rata-rata 55% guru sangat setuju dan 39% setuju bahwa aplikasi canva menarik untuk digunakan, pengguna paham mengaplikasikan canva untuk membuat media pembelajran, aplikasi canva mempermudah pemahaman peserta didik, dan aplikasi canva memungkinkan peserta didik dapat belajar dimanapun dan kapanpun. Penggunaan canva juga meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik serta meningkatkan focus, konsentrasi, minat dan motivasi peserta didik dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

Science material is often abstract, making it difficult for elementary school students to understand. Therefore, teachers need special abilities in designing their learning. So this is a problem for most elementary school teachers. The ability to design science learning in this research is referred to as Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK). PCK helps teachers combine in-depth knowledge of subject matter with effective teaching strategies. This allows teachers to deliver material in a way that suits the cognitive development and learning needs of elementary school students. Therefore, this research aims to provide an overview of the PCK abilities of prospective elementary school teachers in designing science lessons. This research is descriptive research which is in line with the research objective, namely to provide an overview of the PCK abilities of prospective elementary school teachers in designing science learning. Participants in this research were 14 students in the fourth semester of the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), West Sulawesi University. Data was obtained through a learning design assessment sheet that was oriented towards PCK abilities. Data collection is carried out by asking students to create a learning plan, then the design is assessed using an assessment sheet. The PCK abilities of prospective elementary school teachers are considered varied, where the ability to choose methods is quite good but in terms of mastery and development of teaching materials is still lacking. This is due to the lack of experience of prospective teachers in teaching and the acquisition of science content material only obtained in one course. The implications of this research can be used as a reference for educational curriculum development, especially in elementary school teacher education study programs.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kompetensi mahasiswa PGSD dalam meningkatkan jiwa wirausaha dengan cara membuat ide bisnis dalam bentuk produk kreatif. Pelatihan dan pendampingan dilakukan dalam bentuk training dan workshop. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 28 orang mahasiswa PGSD semester 3 Universitas Lampung. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu tahapan pertama pemaparan materi konsep kewirausahaan, tahap kedua pembuatan ide bisnis dalam bentuk proposal usaha, dan tahap ketiga yaitu implementasi ide bisnis dalam bentu bazar produk. Hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa PGSD yang mengikuti kegiatan ini memiliki peningkatan pengetahuan dalam membuat ide bisnis serta dapat merancang dan membuat ide bisnis dalam bentuk proposal usaha dengan baik dan sesuai dengan panduan penulisan proposal usah.

Abstract

This study investigates the existing gap in research concerning the implementation of the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) in elementary schools. The primary goal is to analyze how P5 is executed and assess its effectiveness in promoting character development among students. Additionally, the research aims to identify the factors that support and the challenges faced in implementing P5 within educational settings. This qualitative research included seven subjects: a school principal, a curriculum officer, two project teachers, two students, and one guardian. The study utilizes Robert K. Yin's case study methodology and focuses on a single-case approach. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis employed Miles and Huberman's interactive model, encompassing data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that implementing P5 significantly contributes to students' ability to incorporate the Pancasila Student Profile into their daily lives. The active involvement of teachers, students, parents, and the broader community is critical to achieving this goal. The identified characteristics associated with P5 include faith, dedication to God, moral integrity, teamwork, global inclusivity, and innovation. The successful implementation of P5 is contingent upon the proactive engagement of teachers, support from parents, availability of adequate facilities, and effective leadership from the principal. However, the study also identifies several challenges, including time constraints, diverse student characteristics, the integration of technology, and occasional resistance from parents. By addressing these challenges, educational institutions can enhance the implementation of P5, thereby facilitating the internalization of Pancasila values in students' educational experiences and daily interactions.

Abstract

Bilangan adalah salah satu topik penting yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa saat mempelajari matematika karena diajarkan di setiap tingkat pendidikan, baik dari pendidikan dasar hingga pendidikan menengah. Meskipun penting, fakta di lapangan menunjukkan hal yang berbeda. Siswa masih mengalami kesulitan saat mempelajari topik angka, terutama dalam memahami pecahan. Kesulitan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan buku sebagai sumber pembelajaran siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan analisis buku teks matematika untuk siswa kelas empat sekolah dasar, yang berfokus pada konsep pengenalan pecahan melalui praxeology. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian fenomenologi. Desain fenomenologi dipilih dikarenakan peneliti akan melakukan analisis pada rangkaian tugas yang ada pada satu buku sekaligus untuk melihat potensi kemungkinan pemaknaan peserta didik yang dapat menimbulkan kesulitan pada dirinya. Buku teks yang dianalisis adalah Buku Sekolah Elektronik yang diterbitkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode fenomenologis. Analisis ini terdiri dari lima topik, dengan jenis tugas di bawah praxeology titik dan lokal, serta teknik yang digunakan di bawah teknik perseptual. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan analisis tentang konsep pengenalan pecahan yang disajikan pada buku tersebut dengan hasilnya empat tugas masuk dalam tipe point praxeology dan satu tugas masuk ke dalam tipe local praxeology.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology demands a more dynamic and interactive learning environment, requiring educators to go beyond traditional teaching methods by integrating various digital tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. However, limited digital proficiency among elementary school teachers poses a significant barrier to this integration. This study aimed to improve the digital competencies of elementary school educators through targeted training on the development of interactive e-modules. The training, conducted on August 8, 2024, involved 35 purposively selected elementary educators from the Metro City area. The program consisted of three phases: (1) foundational knowledge delivery on interactive e-modules, (2) hands-on training and mentoring on module development, and (3) evaluation of training effectiveness. Data were collected through questionnaires and participant observations, and analyzed using a qualitative approach. The findings revealed that participants significantly improved their theoretical understanding and practical skills related to interactive e-module design. Moreover, they demonstrated increased motivation and readiness to apply these digital tools in classroom settings, indicating the potential scalability of such training for broader educational contexts.
