Abstract

Masa pandemi covid-19 ini mengakibatkan berubahnya tataran dari berbagai bidang dalam kehidupan, seperti pendidikan, kesehatan, agama, ekonomi, sosial dan budaya. Pemerintah terus berupaya agar pendidikan dapat terus berlangsung meskipun wabah COVID-19 terus mengalami peningkatan kasus. Vaksinasi merupakan salah satu kebiajkan pemerintah yang telah dilakssiswaan namun belum diketahui juga efektivitas dalam pencegahan transmisi virus tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode partisipatif dimana melibatkan mahasiswa KSM-Tematik kelompok 25 dan beberapa siswa sekolah dasar di Desa Sumberejo. Program kegiatannya adalah learn and play untuk meningkatkan semangat belajar siswa sekolah dasar pada masa pandemi di Desa Sumberejo. Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap, antara lain: 1) Sosialisasi kegiatan learn and play; 2) Proses kegiatan pembelajaran (learn); 3) Proses kegiatan bermain (play). Kegiatan tersebut bertujuan agar siswa sekolah dasar di Desa Sumberejo lebih bersemangat melakssiswaan pembelajaran daring ketika di rumah.

Abstract

Bibliotek bukan hanya sebagai tempat pengumpulan dan penyimpanan buku-buku untuk dibaca, tetapi juga sebagai sarana belajar mengajar, pusat penelitian dan informasi, sumber informasi dan ilmu pengetahuan yang sangat berguna bagi semua siswa. Selain itu juga diharapkan dapat membantu siswa dan guru menyelesaikan tugas dalam proses belajar mengajar. Dengan menggunakan perpustakaan, siswa menyerap data sebagai pengetahuan dan secara kolektif meningkatkan indra mereka. Munculnya keinginan yang kuat untuk menggunakan bibliografi tercermin dari keinginan untuk terus mendatangi perpustakaan. Dengan demikian, keragaman novel perpustakaan dapat mendukung proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan sifat deskriptif survey lokasi SDN GONDEK Jombang. Sumber data untuk penelitian ini menggunakan target sampling. Prosedur Pengumpulan Data Penelitian (1) Prosedur Metode Observasi (2) Prosedur Metode Wawancara (3) Prosedur Metode Dokumentasi Dianalisis dalam prosedur penarikan, keabsahan data pengamat diperiksa keabsahan triangulasi data aslinya. Aplikasi ini dapat menyempurnakan bibliografi SDN GONDEK untuk era globalisasi saat ini. Dengan menggunakan teknologi ini, pustakawan dapat dengan mudah mencocokkan bahan pustaka yang dibutuhkan dengan bahan pustaka yang sesuai. Memungkinkan pengguna untuk menelusuri bahan pustaka dan menemukan bahan yang ingin mereka gunakan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning techniques for writing expository texts. The technique developed is the “PETA KONSEP” technique which is an acronym for pengalaman nyata, observasi refleksi secara individu, konseptualisasi, dan implementasi. The meaning in English is real experience, individual reflection observation, conceptualization, and implementation. The method used is the RD method, namely Four-D proposed by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel and also a few Borg Gall models. The results showed that from the validation of experts and practitioners, the method gets a value of 4.4 with very good criteria, a score of 84. Meanwhile, from users/students the method gets a value of 4.3. Furthermore, from the user implementation the method got 4.33 score. and from the user rating the method gets a value of 4.33. Thus, it can be concluded that this technique is well received by students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of punden folklore in preserving and transmitting the religious, moral, and social values of rural Javanese Muslim communities, particularly in Dukun Subdistrict, Gresik, Indonesia. This research is significant because the punden tradition represents a form of local religiosity that harmoniously integrates Islamic teachings with Javanese cultural practices, reflecting a dynamic synthesis between Islam and indigenous wisdom. The study employs a qualitative method, with data collected through observation and in-depth interviews involving local residents, religious leaders, and custodians of sacred sites. The findings reveal that punden folklore functions as a living value system that sustains the religious and social life of the Dukun community. First, pilgrimages and veneration of saintly figures such as Mbah Asyari and Mbah Banjur instill values of devotion, spiritual remembrance, and ta’dhim (reverence) as expressions of lived religiosity. Second, sedekah bumi and pilgrimage rituals demonstrate a harmonious integration of Islamic practices with Javanese cultural symbols such as flower scattering, incense, wayang, and pencak silat. Third, these traditions function as moral education and social adhesive that cultivate patience, sincerity, and humility while reinforcing guyub rukun (social harmony) and ecological awareness across generations. In practical terms, the study affirms that the punden tradition serves not only as an element of intangible cultural heritage but also as a social and religious mechanism that strengthens community resilience. The originality of this research lies in its integrative approach, which positions punden folklore as a living social and spiritual practice, offering new insights into Islamic–Javanese syncretism and the preservation of religious cultural heritage in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article discusses learning design, learning models and learning management of e-Learning-based Islamic Religious Education during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is descriptive qualitative. The primary data source of this study was Islamic Education (PAI) teachers, and secondary data sources in this study were school profile data and Islamic Religious Education learning tools. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The research results are, first, the learning design of the Dick and Carrey model by carrying out ten stages. Second, the e-learning-based Islamic Education learning model is a web course, a learning process that uses the internet. The teacher goes through several stages, namely: (a) planning, (b) implementation, e-learning based Islamic Education learning is carried out in the WhatsApp class group, (c) evaluation, the teacher evaluates during the learning process through discussions and at the end of learning in the form of assignments. Third, in realizing maximum online learning, madrasas form an EFH learning management team consisting of principals, managers, editors, teachers, homeroom teachers, counsellors and parents who have their respective roles.

Abstract

Rhetoric, as the art of persuasive speaking, plays a vital role in political communication, particularly in shaping public image and conveying a political vision to the public. This study aims to analyze the rhetorical strategies employed by Anies Baswedan in articulating his vision of sustainable development, both in international forums and local campaign settings. The analysis focuses on the use of three classical rhetorical elements as defined by Aristotle—ethos (credibility), pathos (emotion), and logos (logic)—and examines public responses to these rhetorical strategies. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques through observation and document analysis of Anies Baswedan’s speech videos and transcripts shared on social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Public comments were also collected and analyzed as indicators of societal responses to the speeches. The data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The findings reveal that Anies Baswedan's rhetorical strategies are predominantly characterized by the use of logos, marked by rational and logical argumentation in addressing sustainable development issues. Ethos is demonstrated through the emphasis on personal experience and achievements, while pathos is employed to evoke emotional resonance, enthusiasm, and social concern among the audience. Public responses to these rhetorical strategies are diverse, ranging from support and appreciation for his method of vision delivery to criticism regarding perceived inconsistencies between rhetoric and actual track record. These findings indicate that the success of political communication depends not only on the strength of rhetorical expression but also on the degree of public trust in the communicator’s integrity.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve teachers’ understanding and skills in developing instructional materials based on the deep learning approach. The program was implemented through training and mentoring activities involving 35 mathematics teachers. Evaluation instruments consisted of two questionnaires: a 17-item questionnaire measuring teachers’ understanding of the deep learning approach and a 14-item questionnaire assessing teachers’ skills in developing deep learning–based instructional materials. The questionnaire data were analyzed descriptively. The results indicate that the teachers’ average level of understanding of the deep learning approach reached 83.63%, while their skills in developing instructional materials reached 82.62%, both of which fall into the very good category. These findings imply that the program effectively enhanced teachers’ understanding and skills in designing deep learning–based instructional materials and supports government efforts to implement deep learning–oriented instruction.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendampingan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan kurasi bacaan fiksi nonfiksi pada 77% guru bahasa Indonesia MGMP Kota Batu, sehingga buku bermutu dari SIBI, BUDI, dan platform lain belum dimanfaatkan optimal sebagai sumber belajar. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengkurasi bacaan berkualitas untuk jenjang SMP–SMA. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi sumber bacaan, Diskusi Kelompok Terpumpun, sesi berbagi praktik baik, serta workshop kurasi dengan peserta 60 guru. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi aktivitas, angket pretes postes, dan tugas praktik kurasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan kurasi sebesar 35%, dengan lebih dari 80% guru aktif dalam praktik dan mampu mengaitkan bacaan dengan capaian pembelajaran serta kebutuhan siswa. Selain itu, guru menghasilkan kurasi lebih sistematis dan relevan sehingga memperluas pemanfaatan bahan literasi di sekolah. Kegiatan ini berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas soft skill analisis literasi dan kesiapan guru menyediakan bacaan bermutu bagi siswa.Abstract: This community service program was initiated due to limited curation skills among 77% of Indonesian language teachers in the Batu City MGMP group, resulting in low utilization of high-quality fiction and nonfiction books available on SIBI, BUDI, and other platforms. The program aimed to enhance teachers’ understanding and skills in curating quality reading materials for secondary school students. The methods included source-literacy dissemination, Focus Group Discussions, best-practice sharing, and a curation workshop involving 60 teachers. Evaluation was carried out through classroom observation, pre- and post-tests, and practical curation assignments. The results show a 35% improvement in teachers’ curation competence, with more than 80% actively participating in discussions and demonstrating the ability to align curated texts with learning objectives and students’ characteristics. Teachers produced more systematic and relevant curation outputs, expanding the use of quality reading materials in schools. The program strengthened teachers’ literacy-analysis soft skills and improved their readiness to provide meaningful reading resources.

Abstract

Salah satu bentuk implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam (deep learning) dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, yaitu menghubungkan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan budaya agar pembelajaran lebih bermakna. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan berbasis kolaborasi dan partisipasi. Langkah-langkah pelaksanaannya meliputi: persiapan kegiatan, workshop pengembangan modul ajar, pengembangan modul ajar, telaah/uji ahli, penyempurnaan, dan rancangan tindak lanjut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan, sebagian besar guru Bahasa Indonesia di Kota Malang masih jarang mengimplementasikan unsur budaya dalam modul ajar. Selanjutnya, kegiatan workshop dilaksanakan dengan mempertimbangkan beberapa kebutuhan guru terhadap pengembangan modul ajar yang mengimplementasikan budaya lokal. Seluruh peserta memberikan respon positif terhadap pelaksanaan workshop tersebut. Sebagian besar peserta 58,33% menyatakan sangat setuju dan 41,67% setuju materi pelatihan membantu pemahaman konsep midul ajar responsif budaya bagi guru.Peserta workshop juga sebagian besar sangat siap dan siap untuk menerapkan modul ajar responsif busaya (sejumlah 95,83%).Meskipundemikian 4,17% peserta masih merasa kurang siap. Persentase tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini secara umum dinilai efektif. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian yang diberikan oleh para validator dalam uji ahli, modul ajar yang dikembangkan secara umum menunjukkan kualitas yang baik. Kualitas perencanaan dinilai sangat baik dengan rata-rata skor 3,96. Kualitas materi pembelajaran dinilai sangat baik dengan rata-rata skor 3,98. Selanjutnya, integrasi budaya lokal juga dinilai sangat baik dengan dengan rata-rata skor 3,88. Strategi pembelajaran juga dinilai sangat baik dengan rata-rata skor 3,94. Asesmen pembelajaran dinilai sangat baik dengan rata-rata skor 3,73. Aspek bahasa dan keterbacaan juga dinilai sangat baik dengan skor 3,84. Pelatihan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam penguatan pendidikan yang berkualitas, bermakna, dan memperkuat identitas nasional. Assistance in the Development of Local Culture-Responsive Indonesian Language Teaching Modules in Junior High Schools in Malang City to Strengthen In-Depth Learning Abstract One form of implementation of the deep learning approach in Indonesian language learning is connecting Indonesian language learning with culture to make learning more meaningful. The implementation of this community service activity uses a collaboration and participation-based approach. The implementation steps include: activity preparation, teaching module development workshop, teaching module development, expert review/testing, refinement, and follow-up design. Based on the results of the needs analysis, most Indonesian language teachers in Malang City still rarely implement cultural elements in teaching modules. Furthermore, the workshop activity was carried out by considering several teacher needs for the development of teaching modules that implement local culture. All participants gave a positive response to the implementation of the workshop. Most participants (58.33%) stated that they strongly agreed and 41.67% agreed that the training materials helped teachers understand the concept of culturally responsive teaching modules. Most workshop participants were also very ready and prepared to implement culturally responsive teaching modules (95.83%). However, 4.17% of participants still felt less prepared. This percentage indicates that this training was generally considered effective. Based on the assessment results given by the validators in the expert test, the developed teaching module generally showed good quality. The quality of the planning was assessed as very good with an average score of 3.96. The quality of the learning materials was assessed as very good with an average score of 3.98. Furthermore, the integration of local culture was also assessed as very good with an average score of 3.88. The learning strategy was also assessed as very good with an average score of 3.94. The learning assessment was assessed as very good with an average score of 3.73. The language and readability aspects were also assessed as very good with a score of 3.84. This training makes a positive contribution to strengthening quality, meaningful education and strengthening national identity.
