Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif bertujuan mendeskripsikan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 227 Jakarta pada materi SPLDV ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 58 peserta didik dipilih dari kategori kemandirian belajar tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes uraian, angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Peneliti menggunakan meningkatkan ketekunan dan triangulasi sebagai teknik keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) tingkat kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik pada materi SPLDV masih tergolong sedang dengan persentase 41,56%; (2) tingkat kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar kategori tinggi tergolong tinggi mampu menguasai 4 indikator; (3) tingkat kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar kategori sedang tergolong sedang mampu menguasai 4 indikator dan (4) tingkat kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar kategori rendah tergolong sedang mampu menguasai 3 indikator.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of designing and developing Mathematical Comics Learning Media on Cultural-Based Middle School Statistics Materials. This research was conducted on class VII junior high school students, to be precise at SMPN 36 Bekasi, SMPIT Bahana Mandiri Bekasi, and SMP Darma Patria. The development of this learning media uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach, the class-oriented ASSURE instructional design model initiated by Heinich, et al. since the 1980s and was developed by Smaldino, et al (Smaldino, 2014: 111). The ASSURE model consists of six activity steps, namely: (A) evaluate Learners (, (S)tates Standards and Objectives, (S)select Methods, Media, and Materials, (U)tilize Media and Materials, (R) require Learn Participation, (E) evaluate and Revise In this study, the product was tested on a material expert, a linguist, a development expert, a graphic design expert, 3 students who were randomly selected from 3 schools for a one to one test, 9 students randomly selected from 3 schools for the small group test, and 20 students in the large group trial to test the effectiveness of the product.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika berupa game edukasi “Petualangan Matematika” berbasis komputer pada materi operasi hitung pecahan kelas V. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan mengunakan model pengembangan berupa ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Namun penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap ketiga yaitu development, dikarenakan pada penelitian ini belum terdapat RPP dan silabus untuk tahap selanjutnya. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan uji formatif untuk produk yaitu uji validasi dan uji kelas kecil. Uji validasi ahli dilakukan oleh 3 dosen ahli yaitu ahli bahasa, ahli materi, dan ahli media. Sedangkan uji kelas kecil dilakukan oleh 1 guru dan 25 peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Cikahuripan 01. Berdasarkan hasil uji formatif dapat disimpulkan aplikasi game edukasi “Petualangan Matematika” berbasis komputer pada materi operasi hitung pecahan merupakan aplikasi yang praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan sebagai media belajar mandiri.

Abstract

Geometri sebagai salah satu cabang matematika memainkan peranan penting dalam desain dan bentuk wayang kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran geometri pada proses desain dan pembuatan wayang kulit, sehingga diharapkan proses pembelajaran matematika dapat mengambil contoh budaya pada pewayangan dalam materi ajar geometri. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan mengamati bentuk dan pola geometri datar pada wayang kulit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat konsep geometri pada wayang kulit, yaitu tarpesium, lingkaran, dan konsep pencerminan. Pada akhirnya, terdapat unsur dan konsep matematika dalam kebudayaan wayang kulit. Dengan pendekatan etnomatematika pada pembelajaran matematika dapat memberikan makna kontekstual bagi siswa, sehingga pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dapat maksimal

Abstract

Pembelajaran mengenai konsep matematika sangatlah penting demi meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi. Peran serta budaya dalam menumbuhkan karakter dan identitas bangsa, dapat seiring sejalan dengan integrasi budaya sebagai media dalam menumbuhkan pemahaman terhadap konsep matematika. Etnomatematika memudahkan kita memahami konsep matematika sekaligus mempelajari budaya yang ada di sekitar kita. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui etnomatematika pada jajanan pasar dengan materi matematika geometri. Metode penelitiannya adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Hasil penelitian yang didapat yaitu terdapat unsur budaya dan materi matematika geometri pada jajanan pasar yang ada di Daerah Cileungsi.

Abstract

Pada 8 Mei 2024 SMK Ar-Rasyadiyyah Kota Serang mengadakan pelatihan kepemimpinan untuk Generasi Milenial dan Generasi Z. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kepemimpinan siswa-siswi agar siap menghadapi tantangan di masa depan. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi, meningkatkan keterampilan pengambilan keputusan, memahami pentingnya kerja tim, mengasah kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif, serta menumbuhkan tanggung jawab dan integritas. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi dasar-dasar kepemimpinan, teknik komunikasi efektif, manajemen waktu, pengambilan keputusan strategis, kerja tim, konflik manajemen, inovasi, dan kreativitas dalam kepemimpinan. Metode yang digunakan mencakup ceramah, diskusi, studi kasus, simulasi, role play, workshop, dan praktik langsung. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh siswa-siswi dari berbagai jurusan yang menunjukkan antusiasme dan potensi besar sebagai pemimpin masa depan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa program ini merupakan langkah positif dalam mempersiapkan generasi muda menjadi agen perubahan yang membawa kemajuan bagi masyarakat dan negara, dengan membekali mereka pengetahuan, keterampilan, karakter, dan sikap kepemimpinan yang kuat. On May 8, 2024, Ar-Rasyadiyyah Vocational School in Serang City hosted an impactful leadership training session for the Millennial Generation and Generation Z. The goal of this training was to empower students with the essential leadership skills needed to confront and conquer the challenges of tomorrow. This comprehensive training program was meticulously crafted to cultivate robust communication abilities, enhance decision-making prowess, emphasize the vital role of teamwork, hone critical and creative thinking skills, and instill values of responsibility and integrity. Topics covered during the training encompassed the essentials of leadership, cutting-edge communication strategies, time management, strategic decision-making, teamwork, conflict resolution, and fostering innovation and creativity in leadership. The training employed a diverse array of methods such as engaging lectures, dynamic discussions, real-life case studies, immersive simulations, interactive role plays, hands-on workshops, and practical exercises. Students hailing from various academic disciplines wholeheartedly participated in the training, showcasing unparalleled enthusiasm and unwavering potential as the torchbearers of the future. The resounding success of this training program unequivocally indicates that it is an exemplary leap towards preparing the next generation to become catalysts of change, propelling societal and national advancement through the dissemination of knowledge, honing of skills, nurturing of character, and fostering resolute leadership qualities.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop cultural-based comic-based mathematics teaching materials. This research was conducted on 8th grade students of junior high schools precisely at Al Ma'ruf Islamic Middle School, Al Wahyu MTs, and Madrasah Tsanawiyah Insan Kamil. This study used research and development methods with the ASSURE model. In this study, the products were tested on material experts (lecturers), material experts (teachers), linguists, development experts, graphic design experts, 3 students selected from 3 schools for one to one test, 15 students from 3 schools for a small group test, and 20 students from 1 school for a large group to test the effectiveness of the product. This product test used the ttest to obtain ttest is 8.225 and ttable is 2.093 or ttest mpre than t table. Then it can be concluded that there is an effective use of mathematics comic teaching materials between pre test and post test scores and can be categorized as feasible.Keywords: Teaching Materials, Math Comics, Culture.

Abstract

This study aims to describe learning process that is suitable to be applied during a pandemic and learning outcome in form of learning media that are effective, practical, easily obtained, economic and easily understood by university students in receiving material. As class setting (online learning) is 8th semester lecture in the ICT-Based Mathematics Learning Media course using action research method. This research design used 3 cycles, with each cycle passing through the plan-act-observe-reflect stage. Data collection technique is by using observation related to the skills of designing and developing simple math learning applications based on android. Research data analysis was carried out based on: (1) initial ability analysis; (2) reflection related to the online learning process (3) learning outcomes. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop mathematics learning media in the form of games to meet the needs of mathematics learning and can increase the interest and motivation of learning students. The subjects of this study were 33 grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Tajurhalang. This research uses a research and development approach by adapting the ADDIE model which includes 5 stages, namely, 1) Analyze, 2) Design, 3) Develop, 4) Implement, and 5) Evaluate. In this study, the product was validated to three material experts and three media experts and carried out individual trials for students. Based on the validation results from experts. The average assessment results from material experts received a score of 4.57 with the criteria of "Very Worthy", and the average assessment results from media experts received a score of 4.13 with the criteria of " Worthy". The results of individual trials get a score of 3.54 with the criteria " Worthy". After validation and revision from experts, a small class trial was carried out for students at SMP Negeri 1 Tajurhalang. The average assessment results from the small class trial scored 3.89 with the criteria " Worthy". The overall results stated that ethnomathematics-based Tic Tac Toe Math learning media were qualified as valid with the criteria " Worthy".

Abstract

Currently, there is an interesting phenomenon related to the development and enthusiasm for prospering mosques in Indonesia. Not only related to the development of their numbers, the development of their building designs, but also related to the development of their organizations and management. The current trend in mosque management shows more professional mosque management, mosques are no longer just places of prayer, but many mosque organizations are trying to restore the function of mosques as in the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, as a place of worship that can also play a role and function as a place of education and social community. This research was conducted using a qualitative research method with a literature review approach or with a library research type. This research utilizes literature (library) in the form of journals, proceedings, and books. The main focus of this research is to analyze and describe how to develop mosque management into a learning organization from the perspective of Marquardt's theory, namely a systems learning organization model that includes learning, organization, humans, knowledge, and technology. From various information related to the profile, programs, and activities of mosques in Indonesia, it can be seen that many mosques have become learning organizations. Marquardt's theory on the learning organization system model can be a framework for mosque organizations in developing mosques as learning organizations whose members have a strong and collective desire to learn continuously to improve themselves and their organization for mutual success.
