Abstract

Weinami Village is a village located on an island adjacent to Napan Village. The livelihoods of the residents in the village are as fishermen. The geographical position of the research location which is far from the city center makes it difficult for fishermen to market their catch. The livelihoods of residents around Weinami Village are fishermen, therefore there are no buying and selling transactions in the village, so the fishermen are confused about distributing their catch. E-Commerce is a system that connects sellers and buyers in an interaction network. If analogized as a market, then the transactions that occur take place digitally, not in a physical location. In this case, the business center is not a real building, but a digital-based system. By utilizing the internet network, the process of marketing and selling catches can be carried out widely without being hindered by national borders (Apridiansyah.et.all.2019). The author has developed a web-based fishing catch marketing system, starting from application planning to database creation. In the process, there was an error in the code that caused an error, but it was finally fixed. Currently, the marketing system in Weinami Village has been connected via localhost for testing purposes. Furthermore, this system is planned to be further developed with its own domain so that it can be used by fishermen in Weinami Village, thus facilitating transactions between sellers and buyers

Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to assess coral reef health at Nusi Island, Nabire, Indonesia, by analyzing the benthic composition using Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) technology. Research Methodology: Data were collected using the Underwater Photo Transect (UPT) method, deploying a 50-meter transect line at approximately 10 m depth. High-resolution images were captured, and 1,500 data points were analyzed to evaluate the benthic substrate composition. Results: The findings revealed severe degradation of coral reefs. Site 2 (Pulau Nusi) showed only 3.13% live coral cover, with sand and rubble dominating the substrate. Site 1 (Nabire) fared slightly better, with 6.64% live coral cover, although it still showed significant damage. Conclusions: The coral reefs at both study sites are severely degraded, with Site 2 in a critical state, mainly due to sedimentation. These data highlight the need for targeted management strategies to mitigate these stresses and foster reef recovery. Limitations: This study was limited to a single 50-meter transect at one depth, providing a snapshot of the reef condition. Further research is required to identify specific degradation drivers and conduct long-term monitoring. Contributions: This study provides the first quantitative assessment of coral reef conditions on Nusi Island, offering essential baseline data for future conservation efforts.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of computational thinking (CT) principles with adaptive curricula to enhance problem-solving skills in undergraduate programming education. Traditional programming curricula often emphasize syntax and basic concepts, neglecting critical problem-solving strategies. The adaptive curriculum framework used in this study combines CT skills such as decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithmic thinking with personalized learning experiences. A mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative research, was employed to assess the effectiveness of this integrated approach. The results show significant improvements in students' problem-solving abilities, conceptual understanding, and engagement compared to a control group following a traditional curriculum. Students in the experimental group, which received the adaptive curriculum, demonstrated better performance in applying algorithms and debugging code. Additionally, students expressed higher levels of engagement and motivation, suggesting that the personalized learning environment fostered greater academic involvement. The study highlights the importance of integrating CT principles with adaptive learning frameworks to create a more inclusive and effective learning environment that accommodates diverse learning needs. The findings suggest that adaptive curricula can bridge gaps in traditional education by providing personalized support and ensuring that students progress at their own pace. This approach is especially beneficial for programming education, where both conceptual understanding and practical problem-solving skills are critical for success. Future research should explore the long-term impact of adaptive learning frameworks and investigate how these technologies can be integrated with traditional teaching methods to maximize their effectiveness.

Abstract

Autonomous decision-making systems increasingly rely on complex artificial intelligence models to operate in dynamic and safety-critical environments. While these models provide strong predictive capabilities, their black-box nature limits transparency, trust, and accountability. This study proposes a structured research methodology for integrating Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) into autonomous decision-making systems. The research adopts a conceptual–analytical approach to develop an explainability-oriented framework that embeds transparency across perception, decision-making, and action execution stages. The methodology includes literature-driven problem identification, conceptual framework construction, classification and mapping of XAI methods, and formulation of explainability evaluation criteria. The results demonstrate that effective explainability in autonomous systems requires a hybrid integration strategy, combining in-model transparency with post-hoc explanation mechanisms. A structured mapping of XAI techniques to autonomous system components and a conceptual decision-flow diagram are presented to illustrate explainability integration. The findings highlight that layered and context-aware explainability enhances system interpretability, supports human oversight, and improves safety relevance without compromising autonomous operation. This study contributes a reusable methodological foundation for the design and evaluation of explainable autonomous systems, offering practical guidance for future empirical validation and real-world deployment in safety-critical applications.
