Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of the mathematics learning media in the circle material at SDN 110 Borongloe which meets the valid, practical, and effective criteria. Media development refers to the stages of the ADDIE model. The research subjects were students of class VI SDN 110 Borongloe. The instruments used in the study included: validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, teacher observations managing learning, student activity observations, and learning outcomes tests. The data were analyzed quantitatively by looking for the average value of the validity, practicality, and effectiveness levels. Based on the results of the study, the validation results obtained are 4.48 with a very valid category. The results of the practicality of the teacher response questionnaire are 76.6% and the student response questionnaire is 90.9%. The results of the effectiveness of the study were measured using the student activity observation sheet with the acquisition of 91.1% in the very good category, the observation sheet on the teacher's ability to manage to learn with the acquisition of 4.67 in the very good category, and the student learning outcomes test with the acquisition of learning completeness of 93%. Thus the M-Learning learning media meets product quality assessment standards.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prosedur pengembangan serta kualitas media pembelajaran matematika berbasis Visual Basic 6.0 pada materi matriks ditinjau dari tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, keefektifan. Research and Development (RD) adalah jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan prosedur pengembangan ADDIE. Siswa kelas XI di MA Al-Hidayah kota Makassar menjadi subjek penelitian. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah media pembelajaran matematika berbasis Visual Basic 6.0 pada materi matriks mencakup operasi matriks terkhusus ordo dua dan tiga yang didesain dengan menarik yang dapat dioperasikan dengan komputer secara offline. Lima tahapan prosedur pengembangan ADDIE antara lain: tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Selanjutnya, hasil dari kriteria kevalidan didasarkan pada hasil validasi oleh tim validator adalah 3,66 (sangat valid). Kriteria kepraktisan didasarkan pada hasil kuesioner tanggapan guru 97,5% (positif) dan lembar observasi kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran 3,89 (tinggi), kemudian dari kedua hasil analisis tersebut  media memenuhi kriteria praktis. Kriteria keefektifan didasarkan pada hasil kuesioner tanggapan peserta didik 90,7 (sangat positif), pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik 89% (sangat baik), dan tes hasil belajar diperoleh persentase ketuntasan 90%, sehingga dari hasil pengukuran. diperoleh media memenuhi kriteria efektif. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media  pembelajaran materi matriks layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

This research aims to get an overview of (1) the mathematical critical thinking abilities of students who do not apply the RADEC learning model, (2) the mathematical critical thinking abilities of students who apply the RADEC learning model, (3) the influence of the RADEC learning model on participants' mathematical critical thinking abilities educate. This research approach is a quantitative approach with a type of experimental research. The population in this study was all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 24 Bulukumba. The sample was all students in class VIII B and class VIII C, with 22 students each taken using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is a test instrument in the form of essay questions. The analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test. (1) The control class pretest results have a percentage of 100% in the very low category, and the control class posttest results have a percentage of 4.5% in the very low category. (2) The experimental class pretest results had a percentage of 100% in the very low category, and the experimental class posttest results obtained were 13.6% in the medium category. (3) The results of the inferential analysis showed that the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) learning model affected the mathematical critical thinking abilities of Class VIII students at SMP Negeri 24 Bulukumba.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of library facilities on the reading interest of class XI students at the Tarbiyah Takalar Modern Islamic Boarding School. This research is quantitative research using an ex post facto method. The respondents in this research were class XI students at the Tarbiyah Takalar Modern Islamic Boarding School. Data collection in this research used a questionnaire instrument consisting of 20 statements, which were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and linearity analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, it can be concluded that the Tarbiyah Takalar Modern Islamic Boarding School's library facilities are in the medium category with a percentage of 72.2%, while the reading interest of class XI students at the Tarbiyah Takalar Modern Islamic Boarding School is also in the medium category with a percentage of 69.4%. This research also showed an influence between library facilities and the reading interest of class XI students at the Tarbiyah Takalar Modern Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Bulukumba yang berjumlah 216 orang dan sampelnya adalah kelas VIIIA kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIIG kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa berupa tes dengan menggunakan soal isian sebanyak 5 item. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial, yakni menggunakan independent sample t-test. Hasil belajar matematika pada kelas kontrol tanpa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two nilai rata-rata pretest adalah 34,58 dan nilai rata–rata posttest sebesar 72,23, sedangkan hasil belajar matematika pada kelas eksperimen dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two nilai rata-rata pretest adalah 33,77 dan rata-rata posttest sebesar 77,85. Uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t, yakni independent sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two dengan yang diajar tanpa menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Bulukumba.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a mathematics learning video based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) on quadrilaterals, which aims to determine the process of developing a valid, practical, and effective RME-based mathematics learning video. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with a 4D development model consisting of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects of this study were 20 students of grade VII of SMP Negeri 4 Selayar. The instruments used included expert validation sheets, student activity observation sheets, teacher ability observation sheets in managing learning, student response questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The developed learning video was declared valid based on the study's results. This video was declared practical based on the teacher's ability to manage learning, which was categorized as very good, and the results of the teacher response questionnaire were categorized as very practical. In addition, this video was also declared effective because it met three criteria for effectiveness: student response questionnaires with a very positive category, student activities that were classified as good, and mathematics learning outcome tests that achieved a 100% completion percentage. The development of RME-based learning videos provides valid, practical, and effective learning media, which can help teachers manage mathematics learning in a more interactive and meaningful way.

Abstract

Teaching materials are an important element in the learning process that facilitates students to understand concepts while providing practical experience in their application, however, currently, the availability of teaching modules is still very limited, including for thematic learning. This research aims to develop a thematic practicum module in the Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program. This research is a research and development (R&D) 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) with a one-shot case study design, which aims to develop a pre-existing product as a thematic learning module. Data analysis uses quantitative techniques. The research results include thematic-based practicum modules which were developed taking into account the developmental needs of early childhood and thematic learning principles that encourage learning through real experience and play which then go through a validation stage by experts. Thus, it can be concluded that the development of thematic practicum modules in the Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program (PIAUD) has met the validity category to support thematic learning.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of self-assessment implementation in improving mathematical reflective thinking skills using Collaborative Problem Solving learning. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of grade VIII of SMP 4 Sungguminasa. This study involved class VIII-J as the Collaborative Problem Solving group and class VIII-K as the conventional learning group. The instrument used was a reflective thinking ability question in the form of a description. The results of the analysis of the pretest score data found that before being given treatment, both groups had the same initial ability, and the results of the analysis of the posttest score data found that the reflective thinking ability and self-assessment of students who received Collaborative Problem Solving learning were better than students who received conventional learning. The results of this study indicate that Collaborative Problem Solving provides opportunities for students to build their thinking skills. In addition, with self-assessment, students can correct themselves during the learning process. This impacts students' awareness to be better at the next meeting during the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan metode drill dengan teknik inquiry berbantuan IT terhadap hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas X di UPTD SMK Negeri Labuang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian quasi experimental dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi terdiri dari 214 siswa kelas X, dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu kelas X TKJ A sebagai kelas kontrol dan X TKJ B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes sebanyak 15 butir soal diantaranya 10 soal pilihan ganda dan 5 soal uraian untuk mengukur hasil belajar peserta didik. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai pada kelas eksperimen dari 56,90 () menjadi 78,41 (), sedangkan kelas kontrol meningkat dari 60,39 menjadi 65,40. Uji inferensial menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (2-) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelas. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran drill dengan teknik inquiry berbantuan IT efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa dibandingkan pembelajaran tanpa penerapan metode drill dengan teknik inquiry berbantuan IT.
