Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembalajaran digital book menggunakan flip PDF professional pada materi aljabar kelas VIII SMP yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Lee and Ownes dengan tahapan-tahapan pengembangan yaitu: (1) analisis (2) desain, (3) pengembangan dan implementasi, dan (4) evaluasi. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi dan angket respons peserta didik. Kualitas media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Aspek kevalidan berdasarkan skor validasi oleh dua orang validator, aspek kepraktisan berdasarkan angket respon peserta didik, dan aspek keefektifan berdasarkan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah penggunaan media pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh dua validator diperoleh kriteria sangat valid, dengan persentase sebesar 85,71% dan 91,66%. Nilai kepraktisan berdasarkan respon peserta didik diperoleh skor sebesar 89,66 yang menyatakan bahwa media ini sangat praktis untuk dipergunakan pada tahap uji coba skala besar. Selanjutnya nilai kepraktisan berdasarkan respon peserta didik pada tahap II diperoleh skor sebesar 90,64% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Terakhir uji keefektifan yang diperoleh berdasarkan tes hasil belajar peserta didik, diketahui bahwa rata-rata tes hasil belajar sudah memenuhi nilai KKM dengan rata-rata sebesar 90,12 yang berarti bahwa digital book efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a measurement tool for students' understanding, application and mathematical reasoning ability at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in South Sulawesi. This research is a formative research type of Research and Development (R&D) research through 4 (four) stages, namely: the preliminary stage; the stage of self evaluation (curriculum analysis, material, students) and design; prototyping stage (validation, evaluation and revision) which includes expert reviews, one-to-one and small groups; and the feld test stage. The product of this research was an assessment instrument in the form of questions that measured the ability of understanding, application, and mathematical reasoning of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. The test subjects in this study were fourth grade MI students in Makassar City, Gowa regency, and Sinjai regency. The results of the content validity based on the rater indicated that the test items needed were declared valid after being assessed by the rater and analyzed using the CVR (Content Validity Ratio) and CVI (Content Validity Index). In the reliability test, the results of the analysis conducted for multiple choice questions and the contents were in the category of "high" which means that the measurement tools for comprehension, application, and reasoning were indicated to be reliable.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat ukur kemampuan pemahaman, ap­likasi, dan penalaran matematika siswa pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Sulawesi Selatan. Subjek uji coba pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV MI di Kota Makassar, Kab. Gowa, dan Kab. Sinjai. Hasil validitas isi (Content validity) berdasarkan rater menunjukkan bahwa butir-butir tes yang dibut dinyatakan valid setelah dinilai oleh rater dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan CVR (Content Validity Rasio) dan CVI (Content Validity Indeks). Pada uji reliabili­tas, alat ukur kemampuan pemahaman, aplikasi, dan penalaran dikatakan reliabel.

Abstract

Abstract This study discusses the problem of the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBL) on students’ mathematics learning outcomes to see the differences in learning outcomes of those who learn and without applying the model of Problem Based Learning (PBL). This research is a quasi-experiment, the nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population is all class VIII students at MTs Madani Alauddin with a sample of class VIIIA (so the experimental class) and also class VIIIB (so the control class). The instrument applied was an essay test which was then analyzed descriptively as well as inferential. The results of the descriptive posttest calculation showed that student learning outcomes with the PBL model were higher than those who did not apply PBL. Inferential statistical analysis shows that there is a fairly strict difference between learning and the PBL model and not. In this study, using the PBL model can help students develop their knowledge and understand mathematical problems related to everyday life.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Learning Model, Problem Based Learning Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas terkait efektifnya model problem based learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan maksud melihat perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran PBL dan siswa yang belajar tanpa menggunakan PBL. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis quasi experiment, dengan desain penelitian berupa the nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah semua siswa kelas VIII di MTs Madani Alauddin dengan sampel kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah test bentuk essay yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan juga inferensial. Dari hasil perhitungan posttest secara deskriptif, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dengan mengaplikasikan model PBL lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar yang tidak mengaplikasikan PBL. Analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang cukup ketat antara pembelajaran dengan mengaplikasikan model PBL dan yang tidak mengaplikasikan PBL. Hasil penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model PBL dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan pengetahuannya serta memahami masalah-masalah matematika yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap dunia pendidikan, seperti penggunaan media pembelajaran yang berupa game edukasi untuk memotivasi dan menarik minat belajar peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan dan menerapkan media pembelajaran game DOMM (Dungeon of Math Matter) berbasis Adobe Flash dengan materi bilangan bulat dan himpunan untuk kelas VII yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa media pembelajaran game DOMM yang diuji cobakan pada peserta didik kelas VII di SMP daerah Belawa, Kabupaten Wajo. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba yang dilakukan, diperoleh validasi sebesar 3,45 dengan kategori valid. Kepraktisan penelitian ini diukur menggunakan angket respon dari guru dan peserta didik. Analisis respon guru yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 94% dengan kategori sangat positif dan analisis respon peserta didik diperoleh sebesar 88% dengan kategori sangat positif. Keefektifan penelitian ini diukur menggunakan tes hasil belajar dari peserta didik. Analisis tes hasil belajar diperoleh presentase ketuntasan sebesar 80% dengan kategori tuntas. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran game DOMM telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan untuk digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran materi bilangan bulat dan himpunan di kelas VII. Developing instructional game Dungeon of Math Matter using Adobe Flash for grade 7th students AbstractTechnological developments have a major effect in education, for example in the use of game as as a learning media to motivate to learn and to enhance students' interest in learning. The purpose of this study was to develop learning media that is called DOMM (Dungeon of Math Matter) and determine its validity, practicality, and effectiveness to learn integer and set material in grade VII. This research is a research and development applying the ADDIE model. The DOMM is developed using Adobe Flash which was tested on grade 7th  students at one of Yunior High School in Belawa, Wajo district. The validation score obtained is 3.45 which is valid. The practicality of this game was measured using a response questionnaire from the teacher and students. The result of teacher response analysis shows that  94% of the responses are in the very positive category and the result of student response analysis shows that 88% of the responses are in the very positive category. The effectiveness of this game was measured using a test of student learning outcomes. The result of the analysis of the learning outcome test shows  80% of the students are in the mastery category. So it can be concluded that the application and development of DOMM (Dungeon of Math Matter) learning media based on Adobe Flash for grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Belawa has met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness so that it can be used as an alternative media for grade 7th in learning integer and set.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process and analyze the quality of the HOTS-type test instrument development on flat side space and measure students' higher-order thinking skills. This type of research is research and development with the Formative Research (Tessmeer) model. The test subjects in this study were class XI.3 students at SMP Negeri 30 Makassar, totaling 30 students. Based on the research results, it is known that 1) the development process using the Formative Research (Tessmeer) model through 4 stages, namely the preliminary stage, the self-evaluation stage, the prototyping stage, and the field test stage. 2) the quality of test development is declared valid with a CVR (Content Validity Index) value, the average total score is 1 with a very appropriate category or is in the interval 0.68-1.00, practically based on the results of the questionnaire analysis of student responses 89.07% with the response category "Very Positive”, reliable with an average of 0.752 and 0.866 in the high category (reliable), the average difficulty level of the total score is 0.69 and 0.49 in the medium category, and the different power of the average total score is 0.42 and 0.49 in the good category. 3) students' critical thinking ability averaged 67.61, which was in the good category. Thus, this HOTS-type test instrument can be used to measure students' high-order thinking skills.

Abstract

Since entering the industrial revolution 4.0 which began in the 21st century, technological developments have been accelerating and affecting various aspects of life including education. Current technological developments also have a significant influence on a person's perception to continue to adopt and integrate technological things in learning. The purpose of this research is to find out how mathematics education students perceive the use of e-learning in learning. This research is a quantitative descriptive research involving 31 students of the Mathematics Education undergraduate study program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Keguruan UIN Alauddin Makassar, class of 2020-2022. Data collection was done through observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The data analysis used was descriptive analysis. The results showed that mathematics education students towards e-learning learning were in the high category. This indicates great potential for increased use, curriculum development, and technical and infrastructure support in an e-learning environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Bulukumba yang berjumlah 216 orang dan sampelnya adalah kelas VIIIA kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIIG kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa berupa tes dengan menggunakan soal isian sebanyak 5 item. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial, yakni menggunakan independent sample t-test. Hasil belajar matematika pada kelas kontrol tanpa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two nilai rata-rata pretest adalah 34,58 dan nilai rata–rata posttest sebesar 72,23, sedangkan hasil belajar matematika pada kelas eksperimen dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two nilai rata-rata pretest adalah 33,77 dan rata-rata posttest sebesar 77,85. Uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t, yakni independent sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two dengan yang diajar tanpa menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Bulukumba.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of emotional qoutient (EQ) on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The type of research used is meta-analysis which is a quantitative research method. Data collection was carried out by searching for relevant articles according to the topic being studied on internet network sites such as Google Scholar, Research gate One Search, Open Knowledge Map, Search, and Microsoft Academic with the keyword influence of emotional quotient on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique. The samples analyzed are research reports that meet predetermined criteria. The instrument used is a coding sheet (coding data). Data analysis was carried out by looking for the effect size value using the summary effect formula. Based on the analysis carried out, it was found that there was an influence of emotional quotient on the mathematics learning outcomes of moderate students with an average effect size of 0.778 and was included in the category. Thus, educators or stakeholders in the world of education can design more holistic learning programs by including EQ aspects to increase the effectiveness of mathematics learning and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Hasil belajar merupakan cerminan dari pemahaman dan penerapan materi pelajaran oleh siswa. Rendahnya hasil belajar sering kali dipengaruhi oleh beragam faktor, di antaranya adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran yang kurang tepat dengan kondisi kelas yang ada. Kurangnya kesesuaian antara model pembelajaran yang diterapkan dan kebutuhan serta karakteristik siswa dan lingkungan pembelajaran dapat menghambat proses pemahaman konsep-konsep matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran Mix (Teams Games Tournament and Auditory Intellectually Repetition) terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VII SMP Pesantren Guppi Samata sebanyak 45 peserta didik yang tediri dari 2 kelas. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII.A dengan siswa 24 orang dan VII.B dengan siswa 21 orang. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi dan tes, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistika deskriptif dan statistika inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Mix TGT-AIR efektif terhadap hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas VII SMP Pesantren Guppi Samata. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Mix TGT-AIR dapat digunakan sebgai alternatif model pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.
