Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembalajaran digital book menggunakan flip PDF professional pada materi aljabar kelas VIII SMP yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Lee and Ownes dengan tahapan-tahapan pengembangan yaitu: (1) analisis (2) desain, (3) pengembangan dan implementasi, dan (4) evaluasi. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi dan angket respons peserta didik. Kualitas media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Aspek kevalidan berdasarkan skor validasi oleh dua orang validator, aspek kepraktisan berdasarkan angket respon peserta didik, dan aspek keefektifan berdasarkan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah penggunaan media pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh dua validator diperoleh kriteria sangat valid, dengan persentase sebesar 85,71% dan 91,66%. Nilai kepraktisan berdasarkan respon peserta didik diperoleh skor sebesar 89,66 yang menyatakan bahwa media ini sangat praktis untuk dipergunakan pada tahap uji coba skala besar. Selanjutnya nilai kepraktisan berdasarkan respon peserta didik pada tahap II diperoleh skor sebesar 90,64% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Terakhir uji keefektifan yang diperoleh berdasarkan tes hasil belajar peserta didik, diketahui bahwa rata-rata tes hasil belajar sudah memenuhi nilai KKM dengan rata-rata sebesar 90,12 yang berarti bahwa digital book efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a measurement tool for students' understanding, application and mathematical reasoning ability at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in South Sulawesi. This research is a formative research type of Research and Development (R&D) research through 4 (four) stages, namely: the preliminary stage; the stage of self evaluation (curriculum analysis, material, students) and design; prototyping stage (validation, evaluation and revision) which includes expert reviews, one-to-one and small groups; and the feld test stage. The product of this research was an assessment instrument in the form of questions that measured the ability of understanding, application, and mathematical reasoning of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. The test subjects in this study were fourth grade MI students in Makassar City, Gowa regency, and Sinjai regency. The results of the content validity based on the rater indicated that the test items needed were declared valid after being assessed by the rater and analyzed using the CVR (Content Validity Ratio) and CVI (Content Validity Index). In the reliability test, the results of the analysis conducted for multiple choice questions and the contents were in the category of "high" which means that the measurement tools for comprehension, application, and reasoning were indicated to be reliable.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat ukur kemampuan pemahaman, ap­likasi, dan penalaran matematika siswa pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di Sulawesi Selatan. Hasil validitas isi (Content validity) berdasarkan rater menunjukkan bahwa butir-butir tes yang dibut dinyatakan valid setelah dinilai oleh rater dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan CVR (Content Validity Rasio) dan CVI (Content Validity Indeks). Pada uji reliabili­tas, alat ukur kemampuan pemahaman, aplikasi, dan penalaran dikatakan reliabel.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process and analyze the quality of the HOTS-type test instrument development on flat side space and measure students' higher-order thinking skills. This type of research is research and development with the Formative Research (Tessmeer) model. The test subjects in this study were class XI.3 students at SMP Negeri 30 Makassar, totaling 30 students. Based on the research results, it is known that 1) the development process using the Formative Research (Tessmeer) model through 4 stages, namely the preliminary stage, the self-evaluation stage, the prototyping stage, and the field test stage. 2) the quality of test development is declared valid with a CVR (Content Validity Index) value, the average total score is 1 with a very appropriate category or is in the interval 0.68-1.00, practically based on the results of the questionnaire analysis of student responses 89.07% with the response category "Very Positive”, reliable with an average of 0.752 and 0.866 in the high category (reliable), the average difficulty level of the total score is 0.69 and 0.49 in the medium category, and the different power of the average total score is 0.42 and 0.49 in the good category. 3) students' critical thinking ability averaged 67.61, which was in the good category. Thus, this HOTS-type test instrument can be used to measure students' high-order thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Bulukumba yang berjumlah 216 orang dan sampelnya adalah kelas VIIIA kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIIG kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa berupa tes dengan menggunakan soal isian sebanyak 5 item. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial, yakni menggunakan independent sample t-test. Hasil belajar matematika pada kelas kontrol tanpa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two nilai rata-rata pretest adalah 34,58 dan nilai rata–rata posttest sebesar 72,23, sedangkan hasil belajar matematika pada kelas eksperimen dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two nilai rata-rata pretest adalah 33,77 dan rata-rata posttest sebesar 77,85. Uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t, yakni independent sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two dengan yang diajar tanpa menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe The Power of Two efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Bulukumba.

Abstract

Pengembangan media berbasis android sebagai media pembelajaran untuk siswa sekolah menengah pertama dilatarbelakangi oleh masih kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan khususnya dalam bidang matematika yang mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Pengembangan media pembelajaran ini menggunakan Macromedia Flash Professional, Corel Draw x4 dan Microsoft power point . Ketiga aplikasi ini yang digunakan untuk mengolah tampilan menu yang akan dimasukkan ke dalam media pembelajaran. Media ini diharapkan mampu memudahkan peserta didik dalam mempelajari materi bangun datar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan mengadopsi model pengembangan Alessi dan Trolip. Adapun langkah-angkah pengembangannya yaitu: perencanaan, desain, dan pengembangan. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Sinjai. Uji coba dalam penelitian ini dilakukan sebayak dua kali yaitu uji coba skala kecil yang melibatkan 3 orang siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Sinjai dan uji coba skala besar yang melibatkan seluruh siswa pada kelas kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Sinjai. Instrument penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang telah dibuat dinilai layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan standar kelayakan lebih besar dari 70%.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy ability is an ability that can be measured in PISA (Programme for International Student Assesment), one of the contents studied is uncertainty and data (Uncertainly and data). This study aims to describe the learning obstacles experienced by students in uncertainty material content and PISA-based data. This research is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach using didactical design (Didactical Design Research) didactic situation analysis stage before learning (prospective analysis). This research was conducted at SMP Pesantren Guppi Samata class VIII with a sample of 16 students using a test instrument in the form of 5 points of description questions and non-tests in the form of observation guidelines. Mathematical literacy indicators used in this study are Communication, Mathematising, Representation, Reasoning and argument, Devising strategies for solving problems, Using symbolic, formal , technical language and operations (Using symbolic, formal, technical and operating language), and Using mathematical tools. The results of this study include: 1) difficulties in understanding the problem; 2) Difficulty in formulating problems; 3) Difficulty in understanding the meaning of the problem; and 4) Difficulty in drawing conclusions. So that the obstacles faced by students are ontogenic obstacles and epistemological obstacles.

Abstract

The success of students in completing their study program is indicated by the achievements reflected in their Grade Point Average (GPA). Grade Point Average (GPA) is expressed in numerical form and is an academic achievement calculated based on all courses taken in all semesters that have been passed by students. This study aims to obtain a model of external factors that affect Grade Point Average (GPA) and variables that affect Grade Point Average (GPA). The response variable in this study is Grade Point Average (GPA) which is categorical and divided into two categories. The method used is binary logistic regression analysis. This study used primary data with the research subjects being second, third, and fourth-semester students in the Mathematics Education Department of Alauddin Makassar State Islamic University. The indicators on the instrument can be categorized as valid and reliable to measure service variables, learning, facilities and infrastructure, and student interest in entering college. The results of binary logistic regression analysis show that service has a significant effect on Grade Point Average (GPA), besides that learning, facilities, infrastructure, and the number of students enrolling in college have an effect but are not significant on Grade Point Average (GPA).

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a mathematics learning video based on Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) on quadrilaterals, which aims to determine the process of developing a valid, practical, and effective RME-based mathematics learning video. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with a 4D development model consisting of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects of this study were 20 students of grade VII of SMP Negeri 4 Selayar. The instruments used included expert validation sheets, student activity observation sheets, teacher ability observation sheets in managing learning, student response questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The developed learning video was declared valid based on the study's results. This video was declared practical based on the teacher's ability to manage learning, which was categorized as very good, and the results of the teacher response questionnaire were categorized as very practical. In addition, this video was also declared effective because it met three criteria for effectiveness: student response questionnaires with a very positive category, student activities that were classified as good, and mathematics learning outcome tests that achieved a 100% completion percentage. The development of RME-based learning videos provides valid, practical, and effective learning media, which can help teachers manage mathematics learning in a more interactive and meaningful way.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe parental education, (2) learning discipline, (3) students' mathematics learning outcomes, and examine the effect of (4) parental education, (5) learning discipline, and (6) both simultaneously on students' mathematics learning outcomes in Class X SMA Negeri 5 Bulukumba. This research uses a comparative causal method (ex post facto) with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 105 grade X students, with instruments in the form of questionnaires on parenting patterns and learning discipline. The data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics through simple and multiple linear regression. The results showed that: (1) democratic parenting is dominant in the good category (mean score 54.43); (2) learning discipline is in the high category (mean score 53.40); (3) students' mathematics learning outcomes are also in the high category (mean score 62.17); (4) democratic parenting and (5) learning discipline have a positive effect on mathematics learning outcomes; and (6) both simultaneously have a significant effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes.
