Abstract

Abstract. People with HIV-AIDS (PLWHA) are powerless in undergoing ARV treatment programs for the rest of their lives. Compliance with treatment of HIV patients in Indonesia is still a major problem, as evidenced by Lost Follow Up (LFU) for treatment and ART by 21.87%. This decrease in ART adherence ultimately makes patients susceptible to opportunistic infections and has a poor quality of life. The design of this research is pre-post test with control group. The approach used in this study is a non-equivalent control group. The sample used by the purposive sampling technique at the NGO CAKAP AIDS Turen was 48 respondents. Collecting data using a medication adherence question- naire. Statistical test using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that there was an influence of empowerment with a p-value of 0.017 <0.05 with a coefficient of 0.309. Based on these statistical results, it can be concluded that the empowerment of HIV patients can affect medication adherence

Abstract

Introduction: Chronic kidney disease patients will suffer a variety of health issues throughout their lifetimes, particularly with regard to their quality of life, whether they are receiving treatment or undergoing hemodialysis (HD). This study aimed to determine factors associated with QOL among patients undergoing HD in Indonesia. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in Malang, Indonesia during August to December of 2020. The inclusion criteria were patients undergoing HD two times a week and aged over 18 years old. QOL was measured using the World Health Organization Quality of Life Brief Version (WHOQOL-BREF). Linear regression was used to determine factors associated with QOL. Results: About 150 participants agreed to join in this study (response rate: 84.4%) with their mean age 52.76 (SD=13.45). The total mean of the QOL in patients undergoing HD was 74.4 ± 27.7 with a range from 10 to 100. The highest mean score was reported for physical health (78.3 ± 24.8) and the lowest score was reported for environmental (72.6 ± 24.3). Linear regression showed that long duration of HD, hemoglobin concentration and blood urea with R2 was 34.6%. Conclusions: Longer duration of HD, low hemoglobin concentration and high blood urea were factors associated with lower QOL in patients undergoing HD. The results of the above study recommend to nurses and health workers to improve critical thinking skills, including measuring levels of urea and hemoglobin, which have an impact on the QOL of patients undergoing HD

Abstract

A recurrence of heart failure can lead to rehospitalization. Therefore, it is necessary to have a prevention strategy that aims to reduce mortality and the recurrence of heart failure by minimizing physical contact. Telehealth is an alternative for providing health services to heart failure patients by minimizing mobilization and treatment costs. This research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing telehealth in the management and care of patients with heart failure. This study used the systematic review method. There were four stages in this study, namely identifying sources, determining eligibility, screening, and deciding which to be reviewed. Literature selection used the PRISMA approach from 4 databases such as ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, PubMed, and Scopus, with inclusion criteria including articles with a period of less than 5 years (2018-2023), free full text, article reviews, and articles using English and Indonesia. Searching results from 4 databases found 43,846 articles. After screening based on the specified criteria, there were 9 articles reviewed. Of the 9 articles, there were 3 that stated that telehealth can reduce the cost of treating heart failure. 3 articles stated that the health status of heart failure patients improved when using the telehealth system. 2 articles stated that telehealth can be implemented by telephone or nursing telephone support to monitor the condition of heart failure patients remotely. Another article stated that telehealth can improve the quality of life of patients with heart failure. It is necessary to implement telehealth in health services to reduce the frequency of readmissions and to make it easier for health workers to monitor patients, especially those with heart failure.

Abstract

Padlet memiliki fungsi sebagai papan digital yang dapat digunakan untuk menulis paragraf. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena digitalisasi pembelajaran menulis padlet pada kelas perkuliahan. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data penelitian ini ialah dosen dan mahasiswa Program Studi Sosiologi Agama IAIN Ambon. Jenis data penelitian ini ialah tuturan verbal dan foto dokumentasi kegiatan. Instrumen yang digunakan penelitian ini ialah panduan dokumentasi, panduan observasi, dan panduan interviu. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa implementasi digitalisasi pembelajaran menulis paragraf menggunakan padlet terdiri atas tiga tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahan penyimpulan. Tahap persiapan meliputi proses analisis kebutuhan, menentukan tujuan perkuliahan, penentuan konten, pengembangan materi, dan pemilihan teknologi. Tahap pengembangan meliputi panduan dan instruksi, penggunaan media padlet, menulis dan berkolaborasi, diskusi, dan monitoring dan dukungan. Tahap penyimpulan meliputi refleksi, umpan balik, evaluasi akhir, dan penutup.

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) The learning outcomes of students before the application of positive card and negative card learning media on integer arithmetic operations at SDN 232 Inpres Marusu, Maros Regency, (2) Student learning outcomes after applying positive card and negative card learning media to integer arithmetic operations at SDN 232 Inpres Marusu, Maros Regency, and (3) Are there differences in learning outcomes before and after the positive card and negative card media are applied to the integer arithmetic operations sub-theme at SDN 232 Inpres Marusu. The type of research used in this research is pre-experimental with the design "One Group Pretest-Posttest". The total population in this study were all students in class VI at SDN 232 Inpres Marusu, totaling 20 people. The instrument used in this research is the learning achievement test. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results of the analysis show that the average value of learning outcomes before using positive negative card media is 72.15 in the high category. While the average value of learning outcomes after being taught using negative positive card media of 92.44 is in the very high category. The results of the hypothesis test show that there are differences in learning outcomes before and after being taught using positive and negative card media, when viewed from the average post-test learning outcomes that are greater than the pre-test scores. So the application of positive negative card media has a positive influence on the results of learning mathematics theme for addition and subtraction arithmetic operations in class VI students at SDN 232 Inpres Marusu, Maros Regency. The implication of the research is that teachers who teach mathematics subject matter of addition and subtraction operations on integers are expected to be able to use positive and negative card learning media as an alternative way to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to: a) Know the learning outcomes of multiplication of mathematics subjects of students before using abacus media, b) Know the learning results of multiplication of mathematics subjects of students after using abacus media, c) Know the difference in the use of abacus media on the learning outcomes of multiplication of mathematics subjects before and after the use of abacus media of grade IV students of SD Inpres 130 Tarowang. The type of research used in this study is the type of research One Group pretest-posttest. Collecting data in research using learning achievement tests and observations. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and inferential statistics. The results of the analysis show that there are differences in learning outcomes for the multiplication of mathematics subjects through the use of the abacus media in class IV students at SD Inpres 130 Tarowang, Jeneponto Regency. In addition to learning mathematics with . The use of abacus media can guide and direct students to think inductively towards deductive thinking.

Abstract

This article aims to expose and examine the Ahmadiyah Qadiyani breakaway group in Indonesia through the lenses of sociology and Islamic law. Social contact and religious teachings, which are a rich source of Islamic theological thinking and include Ahmadiyah, are factors in the rise of Islamic sects. The presence of Qadiyani Ahmadiyya in Indonesia has become an interesting subject for sociological and Islamic legal studies. This research aims to analyze this phenomenon using a sociological and Islamic legal approach. Through a literature review, this study reveals the social dynamics that emerged with the existence of Ahmadiyah Qadiyani in Indonesian society, as well as the response of Islamic law to this sect. By considering the historical and social context, this analysis highlights Muslims' various pros and cons towards Ahmadiyah Qadiyani and its impact on relations between believers in Indonesia. This research also explores the implications of Islamic law for treating Ahmadiyah Qadiyani, including fatwas and legal regulations governing their existence. Thus, this study provides in-depth insight into the social and legal complexities associated with such splinter flows in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to get an overview of (1) the mathematical critical thinking abilities of students who do not apply the RADEC learning model, (2) the mathematical critical thinking abilities of students who apply the RADEC learning model, (3) the influence of the RADEC learning model on participants' mathematical critical thinking abilities educate. This research approach is a quantitative approach with a type of experimental research. The population in this study was all students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 24 Bulukumba. The sample was all students in class VIII B and class VIII C, with 22 students each taken using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is a test instrument in the form of essay questions. The analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test. (1) The control class pretest results have a percentage of 100% in the very low category, and the control class posttest results have a percentage of 4.5% in the very low category. (2) The experimental class pretest results had a percentage of 100% in the very low category, and the experimental class posttest results obtained were 13.6% in the medium category. (3) The results of the inferential analysis showed that the RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create) learning model affected the mathematical critical thinking abilities of Class VIII students at SMP Negeri 24 Bulukumba.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of emotional qoutient (EQ) on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The type of research used is meta-analysis which is a quantitative research method. Data collection was carried out by searching for relevant articles according to the topic being studied on internet network sites such as Google Scholar, Research gate One Search, Open Knowledge Map, Search, and Microsoft Academic with the keyword influence of emotional quotient on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique. The samples analyzed are research reports that meet predetermined criteria. The instrument used is a coding sheet (coding data). Data analysis was carried out by looking for the effect size value using the summary effect formula. Based on the analysis carried out, it was found that there was an influence of emotional quotient on the mathematics learning outcomes of moderate students with an average effect size of 0.778 and was included in the category. Thus, educators or stakeholders in the world of education can design more holistic learning programs by including EQ aspects to increase the effectiveness of mathematics learning and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the proportion of questions in the 2013 curriculum student book for Mathematics grade IX SMP/MTs that are categorized in the TIMSS cognitive domains compared to the proportion of TIMSS 2019 standards. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research. The research instrument used was the assessment framework guidelines that have been provided in the TIMSS 2019 book. The research process began with an analysis of the questions contained in the Mathematics student book for grade IX SMP/MTs which was conducted independently by the researcher. The results showed that from 344 valid items contained in the Mathematics student book for grade IX SMP/MTs, the percentage of “knowing” cognitive domain in the book was 37.68%, compared to the standard set by the TIMSS 2019 assessment criteria of 35%. Then, the percentage of “applying” cognitive domain in the book is 52.21%, compared to the standard set by TIMSS 2019 assessment criteria of 40%. Meanwhile, the percentage of “reasoning” cognitive domain in the book was 10.11%, compared to the standard set by the TIMSS 2019 assessment criteria of 25%.
