Abstract

The city of Denpasar has experienced rapid urbanization, necessitating improvements in infrastructure. One such infrastructure project is located in the Simpang Sanur–Tohpati area of Denpasar City. The success of this drainage project is crucial in addressing the recurring flood problems that threaten the city annually. This study aims to analyze the key determinants of project success in the drainage management initiative in the Simpang Sanur–Tohpati area. A quantitative approach was employed, using multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents from the Denpasar City Government, contractors, and consultants directly involved in the implementation of the project. The findings indicate that cost, time, quality, and occupational health and safety (OHS) have a significant influence on project success. Notably, the study highlights the need to pay particular attention to OHS implementation, even though its statistical contribution is relatively smaller compared to the other factors. This research contributes to a better understanding among stakeholders of the importance of each factor in determining project success. It underscores the need for thorough project planning, emphasizing that cost, time, quality, and the implementation of OHS are critical factors that significantly influence the success of future projects.

Abstract

The grounding system is a crucial element in lightning protection because it channels current to the ground for the safety of buildings, equipment, and humans. This study evaluated the grounding resistance at the JoMA Boutique Villa & Resort project and assessed its effectiveness based on the SNI 03-7015-2004, IEEE Std 80-2013, and NFPA 780 standards, which stipulate a maximum limit of 5 Ω. Measurements at four electrode points using an earth tester yielded values of 2.41 Ω, 0.23 Ω, 0.11 Ω, and 0.22 Ω. All results were well below the standard, with effectiveness ranging from 207.47% to 4545.45%. Variations in values were influenced by soil conditions, where embankment soil had higher resistance than wet clay soil. Overall, the grounding system at the study site proved to be highly effective and reliable in protecting buildings and electronic equipment, as well as reducing the risk of step and touch voltages that endanger human safety.

Abstract

Abstract This community service analyzes the challenges of social media utilization and its impact on school publications at TK Widhya Brata. This report identifies various obstacles, such as limited human resources who lack specialized skills in social media management, a slow bureaucratic process for content approval, and facility limitations like unstable internet connections. The analysis uses Organizational Communication Theory to dissect internal and external barriers, and Lasswell's Communication Theory to evaluate the effectiveness of the publications. Findings indicate that these challenges lead to inconsistent, unappealing, and ineffective content publication on social media, failing to reach the target audience optimally. Consequently, this affects the school's image and its appeal to prospective parents and the wider community, which is analyzed using Brand Loyalty Theory. The study concludes that although TK Widhya Brata has significant potential, existing communication constraints hinder effective digital publication efforts. This report provides practical recommendations to address these issues, such as specific staff training and workflow simplification.
