The instruments used consisted of teacher and student activity observation sheets, as well as assessment of students' speaking skills through student learning outcomes data. The results showed that the teacher observation sheet was classified as very good, the student observation sheet also showed very effective results with a value of 91%, while the data on student learning outcomes in speaking skills reached 83 with a good category. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of multisensory strategies on the early writing skills of elementary school students using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The multisensory strategy integrates visual, audit ory, and kinesthetic stimulation to facilitate a deeper underst anding of writing concepts. The literature analyzed was obtained from reputable sources such as Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Scopus, with a publication range from 2015 to 2025. The synthesis results show that the implementation of multisensory strategies has a positive impact on improving early writing skills, particularly in fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and phonemic awareness. The most effective strategies are visual-kinesthetic and visual-auditory combinations, as they activate more sensory pathways in the learning process. Additionally, the use of interactive digital media, such as multisensory-based tablet applications, also enhances student engagement and motivation in learning to write. However, the implementation of this strategy still faces challenges, such as time constraints, learning resources, and teacher competencies in designing multisensory-based activities. Therefore, to optimize the effectiveness of this strategy, continuous teacher training and adequate institutional support are necessary. Thus, multisensory strategies should be integrated continuously into the basic literacy curriculum to have an optimal impact on the development of elementary students' writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of YouTube in increasing interest in reading Indonesian literature in Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 17 Palu. The types of research used are qualitative research and descriptive research. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The data collection techniques used in this study are: 1) Observation, 2) Interview, 3) Documentation. The technical data analysis in this study is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of this study show that YouTube plays a significant role in increasing students' interest in reading literature. Through video shows such as poetry readings, short film adaptations of short stories, and explanations of literary intrinsic elements, students become more enthusiastic, actively discuss, and able to understand the content of literary works more easily. YouTube also helps increase students' intrinsic motivation, foster appreciative attitudes, and encourage them to read literary texts independently. Teachers use YouTube not only as a medium for video playback, but also as a means of reflection, discussion, and understanding strengthening. Supporting factors in the use of YouTube include the availability of internet access, students' enthusiasm for digital media, and the abundance of quality literary content. The obstacles found are network limitations, potential distractions for entertainment content, and limited learning time in the classroom. Overall, this study concludes that YouTube is an effective and relevant learning medium to increase interest in reading Indonesian literature among junior high school students.
