Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge economic, social and political impact on all countries in the world. Indonesia is one of the most affected countries, especially on the economic side. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the decline in community activities was felt. This is currently happening to one of the LPDs in Bali, namely the Kesiman Traditional Village LPD. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Kesiman Traditional Village LPD experienced a decline in savings and deposits which resulted in decreased credit distribution and was hampered. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many people have experienced layoffs (Termination of Employment) and lost their income so that they cannot set aside their income for savings and cannot even pay their credit. Therefore, the banking world, including the LPD, has issued a policy in providing credit relief to its customers during the Covid-19 pandemic, one of which is the Kesiman Traditional Village LPD. The solution that can be given to problems that occur at the research location is based on a circular announcement regarding loan installment payments for debtors affected by Covid-19, the Kesiman Traditional Village LPD can (if needed) provide policies to debtor customers in the form of credit restructuring. The existence of credit restructuring is an improvement effort carried out in credit activities for debtors who have difficulty fulfilling their credit installment payment obligations. Currently the banking industry is experiencing increasingly fierce competition, this is evidenced by the increasing number of banks in Bali, especially in Denpasar Regency. PT Bank BPD Bali Tohpati Branch is a banking institution that provides services to customers related to its activities, namely collecting funds from the public in the form of time deposits, savings, providing credit, or other equivalent forms. With the increasing number of commercial banks each year, they also become competitors of PT Bank BPD Bali Tohpati Branch, so that currently customers have the choice to determine which bank provides higher satisfaction. Companies must continue to design a service marketing strategy that is able to meet the needs and desires of customers and has value or competitiveness with other banks. Service quality or service focuses on efforts to meet customer needs and desires, as well as the accuracy of delivery to balance customer expectations. Corporate image is the impression, feeling and image of the public towards the company, the impression that is deliberately created from an object, person or organization. Bank BPD Bali Tohpati Branch needs to maintain its customers by providing good service quality. So that customers do not seek or consider services from one bank to another, and also what is in the minds of customers, the most important example is providing comfort to customers both in terms of service.

Abstract

In every construction and renovation project, there is often waste that is rarely reused. The utilization of ceramic waste as a coarse aggregate in concrete can be an interesting alternative because ceramic waste shares characteristics and properties similar to coarse aggregate materials, such as hardness, and has the potential to reduce negative environmental impacts and the depletion of raw materials. Therefore, this research adopts an experimental method at the laboratory of the National Education University in Denpasar by creating five different variations of cylindrical specimens, each with three samples. The ceramic waste variations used are 0%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 40%. By using an FAS value of 0.6, the slump value was obtained, where the larger the ceramic waste mixture value, the smaller the slump value, as this occurs due to the water absorption value in the ceramic waste being 10.51%. However, despite this, the slump value still falls within the planned range of 5.0 cm to 12.0 cm, and for the planned compressive strength value, which is 175 kg/m2, the highest average concrete strength value is found in the 0% variation, which is 16.01 MPa or equivalent to 192.83 kg/cm2. The concrete with a 10% variation has a compressive strength of 15.21 MPa or 183.25 kg/cm2, the concrete with a 15% variation has a compressive strength of 15.01 MPa or 180.82 kg/cm2, the concrete with a 20% variation has a compressive strength of 13.64 MPa or 164.38 kg/cm2, and the concrete with a 40% variation has a compressive strength of 9.87 MPa or 118.96 kg/cm2. This research can be used as additional literature or as an evaluation material for further research.

Abstract

Labor productivity is an important indicator for controlling time, cost, and quality in construction projects. The installation of lightweight brick walls requires a high level of efficiency; however, in practice, there is often a discrepancy between the actual productivity in the field and applicable standards. This study aims to analyze labor productivity in lightweight brick wall installation work and compare it with the standards set out in Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (Permen PUPR) Number 01 of 2022. The study was conducted on the Sudamala Resort Ubud construction project using direct observation and a work sampling approach. Observations were made for 14 working days during normal working hours to obtain data on the number of workers, effective working time, and volume of work produced. The data were analyzed to determine the productivity value and coefficient of workers, which consisted of foremen, master craftsmen, craftsmen, and laborers. The results of the study show that the average productivity of workers in the field is 18.175 m²/day for foremen, 19.123 m²/day for master craftsmen, and 18.546 m²/day for craftsmen and workers, with productivity coefficients of 0.055, 0.041, and 0.239, respectively. Compared to the standard of Permen PUPR 01 of 2022, there are differences in productivity values and coefficients in each labor category. These differences are influenced by the field conditions, workforce composition, and work implementation methods.

Abstract

The slope and drainage reinforcement project on the Paksebali–Selat Provincial Road section involves a relatively high potential for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) risks due to excavation works, concrete casting, the use of heavy equipment, and hazardous working environment conditions. This study aims to identify extreme and high risks that may lead to work accidents and to determine appropriate OHS risk control measures for the project. The research method employed is a quantitative descriptive approach, with data collected through field observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. Risk assessment was conducted based on the AS/NZS 4360 standard by multiplying the probability and severity levels, whereas risk control was analyzed using the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle approach. The results indicated that the risks identified in this project fell into the extreme and high-risk categories, particularly in excavation works, road shoulder concrete casting, and heavy equipment mobilization. Potential hazards included landslides, being struck by equipment, and accidents caused by improper work methods. Risk control measures were implemented through improvements in work methods, enforcement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage, enhanced supervision, installation of safety signs, and the regular implementation of training and safety meetings. The application of appropriate risk control measures is expected to minimize workplace accidents and improve overall project safety performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Electricity supply is very important to improve people's lives. In Indonesia electricity is mostly generated by PLN as the state company that provide electricity for the entire people of Indonesia. PLN’s load is very high to provide electricity and to reduce the load of PLN, the potential of the electricity source should be utilized. One of the locations that have been built and used for micro-hydro power plant is the irrigation canal in the Tangeb village, Mengwi, Badung, Bali. Since it was built in 2014, micro-hydro power plant is expected to be used to provide electricity to the Pura Dalem within 100 meters from the power plant site, but can not function as expected because some parts of the structure were damaged, particularly on the foundation. In order for micro-hydro power plants can be used there should be analysis of the feasibility of existing structures. The research process begins with a review of the research sites, further soil sampling and ground testing in the field. The soil samples were tested in the laboratory. The test results of soil samples in the laboratory and field testing is used to calculate the carrying capacity of the land. The results of the soil bearing capacity were used to design the foundation. Analysis of the framework turbine is also conducted to determine whether the order turbines can still be used. Measurement of flow velocity is also performed to calculate the flow rate so that the electrical potential can be known. The results of the analysis of the feasibility of power plant micro-hydro in the Tangeb village obtained subgrade on the location of the turbine has a high bearing capacity that obtained the lowest allowable bearing capacity (qall) = 36.763 t/m2 based on test results in the laboratory, and the position of the hard soil in 1 meter depth. For steel frame buffer turbines, based on the results of the analysis with 9.7 ETABS program obtained that turbines are qualified or steel frame secure enough to support the movement of the turbine. The foundation of the turbine needs to be fixed with shallow foundation with a size of 0.95 m x 0.95 m, with a thickness 0.3 m and foundation depth of 1 meter. Reinforcement of foundation used for tension reinforcement φ 12 with a distance of 9 cm between the reinforcement and shrinkage reinforcement φ 12 with a distance of 18 cm. Potential electricity or power can be produced based on the calculation of the speed of the water, the water discharge resulting in low water level conditions is (W) = 3.3 kW.
