Abstract

Inovasi dapat diciptakan dengan melakukan berbagai hal seperti melakukan riset hingga menggali ide yang kreatif. Hadirnya inovasi tentu memiliki manfaat bagi masyarakat luas, sebab sebuah inovasi akan memberikan dampak yang positif. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu UMKM Kopi Aroma GS dalam pembuatan desain logo, stiker kemasan, dan banner sebagai upaya meningkatkan inovasi produk. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam jangka waktu 2 bulan, mulai dari bulan Agustus hingga September 2023 di Desa Gunung Sari, Kecamatan Way Khilau, Pesawaran. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap seperti: 1) survey dan izin pengabdian 2) proses pembuatan kopi kemasan; 3) pendampingan pembuatan logo UMKM; 4) monitoring dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan yang dilakukan telah berhasil dilaksanakan dengan terciptanya logo, stiker kemasan, banner usaha untuk UMKM Kopi Aroma GS. Suksesnya kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan mampu membantu pemilik “UMKM Kopi Aroma GS” dalam mempermudah warga dan masyarakat luas untuk mengetahui produk kopi kemasan Khas Desa Gunung Sari, Kecamatan Way Khilau, Pesawaran yaitu Kopi Aroma GS.

Abstract

Bima Sakti Bakti Persada is engaged in the production of pre-cast concrete in the form of girders and barriers. This company has problems related to the work productivity of production employees in the company. This research aims to determine the influence of the non-physical work environment and extrinsic motivation on the work productivity of employees in the production department of PT. Bima Sakti Bakti Persada. This type of research is quantitative with associative methods. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to all production employees of PT. Bima Sakti Bakti Persada, numbering 50 people. Data analysis method uses multiple linear regression (t test and f test). data processing with SPSS version 21 software. The results of this study found that the non-physical work environment and extrinsic motivation had a simultaneous and partial effect on the work productivity of employees in the production department of PT. Bima Sakti Bakti Persada.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) sering menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan keuangan, terutama dalam pencatatan laporan keuangan yang terstruktur. Hal ini dapat berdampak pada kurang optimalnya evaluasi kinerja usaha serta pengambilan keputusan bisnis. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelaku UMKM Jamur Merang Mas Gagas di Kelurahan Sumbersari Bantul, Kecamatan Metro Selatan, Kota Metro, dalam melakukan pencatatan laporan keuangan sederhana berbasis Microsoft Excel dan menerapkan software Point of Sale (POS). Kegiatan pelatihan meliputi pengenalan konsep pencatatan keuangan sederhana, penggunaan fitur Microsoft Excel untuk membuat laporan keuangan, serta implementasi software POS dalam mendukung aktivitas penjualan dan manajemen inventaris. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode partisipatif, termasuk sesi teori, praktik langsung, dan diskusi interaktif. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam menyusun laporan keuangan yang terstruktur, serta efisiensi dalam proses pencatatan transaksi penjualan menggunakan software POS. Diharapkan, penerapan hasil pelatihan ini dapat membantu UMKM Jamur Merang meningkatkan transparansi keuangan, mempermudah pengambilan keputusan, dan mendukung pertumbuhan usaha secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study presents the development and evaluation of a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model for lung disease detection from chest X-ray images, complemented by a mobile application for real-time diagnosis. The CNN model was trained on a diverse dataset comprising images labeled as "NORMAL" and "PNEUMONIA," achieving an overall accuracy of 96%. Compared to traditional machine learning methods such as Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Random Forest, which typically achieve accuracies ranging from 85% to 92%, the proposed CNN model demonstrates superior performance in classifying lung conditions. The model achieved high precision (0.98) and recall (0.96) for pneumonia detection, as well as precision (0.89) and recall (0.95) for normal cases, ensuring both sensitivity and specificity in diagnostic performance. These results indicate that the model minimizes false positives and false negatives, which is crucial for reducing misdiagnoses and improving patient outcomes in clinical settings. To enhance accessibility, an Android-based application was developed, allowing users to upload chest X-ray images and receive instant diagnostic results. The application successfully integrated the trained CNN model, offering a user-friendly interface suitable for healthcare professionals and patients alike. User testing demonstrated reliable performance, facilitating timely and accurate lung disease detection, particularly in areas with limited access to radiologists. These findings highlight the potential of CNNs in medical imaging and the critical role of mobile technology in expanding healthcare accessibility. This innovative approach not only improves diagnostic accuracy but also enables real-time disease detection, ultimately supporting clinical decision-making. Future research will focus on expanding the dataset, incorporating additional lung conditions, and optimizing the model for enhanced robustness in diverse clinical scenarios.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of employee engagement in increasing employee retention of Millennials and Gen Z in modern organizations. The research background is based on the high challenges in retaining a young workforce that is dynamic and easily switchable. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a survey of 30 respondents of Millennial and Gen Z employees from various industry sectors. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the influence of the employee engagement dimension—including emotional engagement, cognitive commitment, and social attachment—on employee retention intention. The results showed that all dimensions of employee engagement had a positive and significant influence on employee retention, with emotional engagement as the most dominant factor (β = 0.68; p < 0.01). The practical implications of this study emphasize the importance of developing holistic engagement programs, such as personalization training and interactive internal communication platforms, to increase employee loyalty of Millennials and Gen Z. The theoretical contributions of the research include an in-depth understanding of engagement mechanisms in the demographic context of the younger generation and Human Resources policy recommendations to strengthen retention strategies in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between corporate governance and business performance in multinational companies through a literature review approach. Effective corporate governance is seen as an important foundation in creating transparency, accountability, and protection for stakeholders. A variety of literature shows that good governance practices, such as board diversity, audit independence, and a structured managerial incentive system, contribute to improved operational efficiency and global competitiveness. Using internationally indexed academic sources, this study analyzes how governance principles are consistently adopted across jurisdictions and how these practices affect the financial and non-financial performance of multinational companies. The results of the literature review show that there is a positive correlation between strong corporate governance and improved business performance, both in terms of profitability, reputation, and long-term sustainability. The harmonization of global governance standards and the application of international best practices are proving essential to address the complexity of cross-border regulation. In addition, sustainability-based governance that focuses on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) aspects is increasingly relevant in increasing competitiveness and meeting the expectations of global investors. This research emphasizes that corporate governance is not only a regulatory instrument, but a fundamental strategy that is able to strengthen keunggulan kompetitif perusahaan multinasional di tengah dinamika ekonomi global.

Abstract

Penguatan kompetensi abad ke-21, terutama keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreatif, kolaboratif, dan komunikatif (4C), menjadi kebutuhan utama dalam mempersiapkan generasi muda menghadapi era disrupsi dan bonus demografi. Namun, hasil studi internasional seperti PISA (2018) menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa Indonesia masih tergolong rendah, khususnya dalam aspek pemecahan masalah dan kolaborasi. Kondisi ini menuntut adanya inovasi pembelajaran yang partisipatif dan kontekstual guna menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa. Menjawab tantangan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian ini menerapkan pendekatan Design Thinking sebagai model pembelajaran inovatif di SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Metode ini menekankan pembelajaran berbasis empati, eksplorasi masalah nyata, ideasi, pembuatan prototipe, serta pengujian solusi. Program dilaksanakan melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan teori dan praktik, pendampingan ide, hingga presentasi solusi dalam Pitching Day. Seluruh proses dirancang untuk mengasah kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan inovatif siswa dalam memecahkan persoalan sosial di lingkungan sekolah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta, dengan rata-rata nilai meningkat dari 84,5 menjadi 97,6 atau naik 13,1 poin. Peserta memahami konsep Design Thinking dan mampu menerapkannya dalam menghasilkan prototipe solusi yang relevan, seperti pengelolaan sampah, kebersihan lingkungan, dan komunikasi antar siswa. Selain meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS), kegiatan ini juga memperkuat kolaborasi, empati, dan rasa percaya diri siswa. Luaran kegiatan meliputi video dokumentasi, publikasi daring, serta artikel ilmiah yang memperkuat peran perguruan tinggi sebagai mitra strategis dalam membangun budaya berpikir kreatif di sekolah menengah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi dampak pelatihan dan motivasi ekstrinsik terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Persada Lampung Raya di Lampung Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data lapangan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan PT. Persada Lampung Raya di Lampung Selatan yang berjumlah 76 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 karyawan yang bekerja sebagai operator alat berat. Uji persyaratan instrumen yang dilakukan adalah uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Uji persyaratan analisis data mencakup uji normalitas, linieritas, dan multikolinieritas. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda, dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dan motivasi ekstrinsik berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Persada Lampung Raya di Lampung Selatan

Abstract

Over the past few decades, the improving in the market world in Indonesia are changes. Especially in this digitalera, markets tend to be changed from conventional market to modern market. Everything became so simple, for example from using money to e-money and from needing place to needing smart phone only. Nowadays, people are using their smartphone to buy something via online because it is the simplest way. In order to compete with competitors, the company must increase its competitiveness, especially in maximizing customers trust to maximizing the purchase intention. This study aims to explore the trust perception of Shopee and their relationships with Purchase Intention. It provides insight as to what dimension of trust would deliver the best result of Purchase Intention. This research used purposive sampling method in accordance with certain criteria. The questionnaire distributed to 220 respondents via online. Multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing in partial (t-test) were conducted. The result obtained from this research analysis indicated that dimensions among trust have the positive and significant contributing factors to the enlargement of Shopee purchase intention.Keywords— Trust, Purchase Intention, Perceived Risks
