Abstract

The background of this research is that students are not enthusiastic in participating in the learning process because the learning process is very monotonous and more teacher-centered, thus giving students a feeling of boredom and boredom. Therefore, teachers need to use image media to bridge the material gap in learning. So, researchers are encouraged to conduct research to find out what roles are played by fifth grade teachers in SD 200107 in the use of image media. The formulation of this problem is What is the teacher's role in the use of picture media in Indonesian subjects at SD Negeri 200107 Padangsidimpuan? How to use picture media in Indonesian subjects at SD Negeri 200107 Padangsidimpuan? This study aims to determine the role of teachers in the use of image media in SD 200107 Padangsidimpuan. The method used in this research is qualitative by using data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews. Checking the data using traguulation. The data were analyzed through the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Respondents in this study were fifth grade teachers, fifth grade students and the principal of SD Negeri 200107. The results of this study indicate that the fifth grade teacher has carried out his role as a motivator, educator, and facilitator but has not been optimal in his role as a facilitator because the teacher facilitates very simple media in utilizing image media in the learning process on printed media advertising materials. The way students use image media are: Making image media as a tool in understanding the subject matter, Observing image media, Explaining image media. The way the teacher uses the image media is: Preparing to use the image media, selecting the image media according to the material, the teacher being careful in explaining the material with the image media, and involving students in using the image media.Keywords: teacher's role, use of picture media.

Abstract

 The background of this research stems from the results of interviews with teachers and students in class V SDN 200507 Padangsidimpuan about learning motivation. Some indicators of learning motivation have not been met in Indonesian lessons. One of the causes is the methods used by teachers have shortcomings in increasing learning motivation. The purpose of this study was to increase students' motivation with the quantum teaching model in learning Indonesian in class V at SDN 200507 Padangsidimpuan. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles. The data collection instruments in this study were questionnaires. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SDN 200507 Padangsidimpuan, totaling 23 people. The results of the learning motivation questionnaire showed that the learning motivation in the fifth grade of SDN 200507 Padangsdimpuan in Indonesian subjects had increased. The average student learning motivation before learning using the quantum teaching model or pre-cycle is in the medium category, with an average score of 52.13. In the first cycle, the higher learning motivation is in the high category, with a score of 63.95. In the second cycle, learning motivation increased to a very high category with an average score of 68.86. Based on the research results, the quantum teaching learning model can increase learning motivation in learning Indonesian in class V SDN 200507 Padangsidimpuan. Keywords: Quantum Teaching, Learning Motivation, Indonesian.

Abstract

A very important learning resource in supporting learning in the classroom is textbooks. SMP Negeri 1 Puncak Sorik Marapi makes textbooks the main learning resource. Textbooks must be understandable and comprehensible to students to support a teaching programme. The textbook that is the object of this research is the Indonesian language textbook for class VII of the independent curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Puncak Sorik Marapi, Mandailing Natal Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out how the readability of discourse in Indonesian textbooks grade VII of the independent curriculum through the fry chart formula at SMP Negeri 1 Puncak Sorik Marapi. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection techniques used are observation and text study. The data analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive qualitative techniques and the fry chart formula. The discourse that becomes the sample in this research is 15 discourses. The results of this study show that there are 9 discourses that do not match the readability with grade VII and 6 discourses are appropriate. From the results obtained, it is concluded that the Indonesian language textbook for grade VII of the independent curriculum is not suitable for grade VII. . Keywords: Readability, Wacana, Fry Graph

Abstract

Elementary school education is an effort to educate and mold the life of a nation that is pious, loves and is proud of the nation and country, is skilled, creative, has good character, and is polite and is able to solve problems in its environment. Storytelling skills are the ability to retell actions or events verbally with the aim of sharing experiences or knowledge with others. Storytelling activities shape someone to be able to convey various stories and express feelings experienced. Based on a pre-survey conducted by researchers in class III Ar raji SD IT Nurul Ilmi Padangsidimpuan. On January 14 to February 14, 2025. There are still many students who are not confident when asked to come to the front of the class and the lack of student knowledge of vocabulary.The purpose of this study is to determine. Implementation of Picture Media to Improve Storytelling Skills in Indonesian Language Lessons for Grade III Students of SD IT Nurul Ilmi, Padangsidimpuan City. This study uses qualitative descriptive with the subjects of the study being students and 1 teacher of GradeIII Ar Raji. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed qualitatively using reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing methods. Based on the research results, there are 4 indicators of children’s social skills that researchers observed, namely (I) Being able to understand the contents of the story well, (II) Being confident when asked to come forward to tell a story, (III) Understanding and mastering the pronunciation of the structure and vocabulary used, (IV) Applying Prelinguistic elements such as facial expressions, certain movements and tone of voice. Of the 4 indicators, the most visible in children is the indicator of Understanding and mastering the pronunciation of the structure and vocabulary used, namely 24 students out of 30 were able to understand the vocabulary and pronounce the word structure used when telling stories in class.

Abstract

Implementation of the Independent Curriculum set by the government raises a number of challenges in the field, especially those related to teacher and school readiness. This curriculum demands a comprehensive understanding from educators and school officials, especially at the elementary school level. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection through observation, interviews and document analysis. The data analysis process includes stages of reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the readiness of teachers in Padangsidimpuan City public elementary schools in implementing the Independent Curriculum is at a fairly good level. This is reflected in the teacher's ability to understand the main components of the curriculum, including lesson planning, implementation of the teaching and learning process, and learning assessment. Teachers also demonstrate adequate understanding of learning tools, such as legal foundations, learning objectives, media, learning models, and supporting facilities and infrastructure. This readiness is supported by teachers' active participation in various professional development programs, such as training through the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM), seminars, webinars, workshops and In House Training (IHT). Apart from that, teachers are able to develop open learning modules, implement differentiated learning in class, and carry out evaluations according to the Independent Curriculum guidelines.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perolehan hasil belajar assesment formatif siswa di kelas IV SD Negeri 200223 Padangsidimpuan yang masih rendah, terutama mengenai materi bilangan cacah besar. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan, yakni untuk memberikan peningkatan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa di kelas IV SD Negeri 200223 Padangsidimpuan pada materi bilangan cacah besar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang mengikuti empat tahapan ilmiah, yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui pemberian tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini memaparkan bahwa data hasil tes prasiklus memperoleh rata-rata kelas 39,34 dan tingkat ketuntasan 30,43%. Pada siklus I pertemuan 1, nilai rata-rata kelas 41,73 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 34,78%. Pada siklus I pertemuan 2, nilai rata-rata kelas 61,30 dan tingkat ketuntasan 47,82%. Tingkat ketuntasan siswa pada siklus II pertemuan 1 adalah 60,86% dengan nilai rata-rata 68,26. Kemudian tingkat ketuntasan siswa pada siklus II pertemuan 2 meningkat menjadi 78,26% dengan nilai rata-rata 81,95. Setelah memenuhi indikator tindakan yang dimaksudkan peneliti, penelitian dihentikan pada siklus II pertemuan 2. Hasil akhir penelitian ini juga memberikan implikasi bahwa model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan, kerjasama, pemecahan masalah, dan komunikasi serta menciptakan struktur pembelajaran yang lebih sistematis dan terorganisir. Therefore, it can be concluded that through the application of the problem-based learning model, students' mathematics learning outcomes can improve on the material of large integers in class IV of SD Negeri 200223 Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

Developments in the field of education are a means or forum for developing Human Resources (HR).  Education is not only defined as the transformation of knowledge but also includes the transformation of culture and values that develop in society, in order to produce quality students who can develop every potential that students have which is obtained through the learning process and implementing habits that can  increasing students’ interest in learning, especially students’ interest in reading in literacy learning, thus implementing literacy learning to increase students’ interest in reading. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods.  The research subjects were 28 people consisting of 15 male students and 13 female students.  Based on researchers’ observations of real conditions in the field, students’ interest in learning can have a positive impact on students’ learning outcomes and students’ responsiveness.  Students’ lack of reading interest in reading and understanding the content of students’ reading texts in concluding paragraphs is a problem for students in determining the main idea of reading text paragraphs.  To overcome this problem, there are several efforts that teachers can make to increase students’ interest in learning.  The efforts that teachers can provide are implementing literacy learning in class IV of SD Negeri 136916 Tanjungbalai, with the implementation it will help students increase their interest in learning, so that they can make students more enthusiastic about learning, processing with maximum marks and preparing plans.  Based on the results of the diagnosis, namely by providing group study guidance.  Next, the final effort is to provide assistance by asking parents for guidance in supervising students while studying at home and providing motivation so as to foster students’ interest in learning. Keywords: Implementation; Literacy; Interest in Reading.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan pertama terdapat 25 dari 36 anak perkembangan motorik halus anak masih rendah. Hal ini ditandai dengan anak belum bisa mengkoordinasikan kerja mata dan tangan secara bersamaan. Anak belum mampu melenturkan jari-jemarinya saat memegang alat tulis. Sehingga anak belum mampu memegang alat tulis dengan baik. Anak belum bisa menjiplak bentuk gambar sederhana dari buah apel. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah ada Pengaruh Finger Painting Terhadap Kemampuan Motorik Halus Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun di RA Jannah Al Rayyan Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode ekperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia 4-5 tahun kelompok B di RA Jannah Al Rayyan Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Selatan yang berjumlah 36 orang, 23 laki-laki dan 13 perempuan. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada data awal pretest di kelas ekperimen menunjukkan setelah dilakukan uji normalitas dan homogenitas kelas tersebut berdistribusi normal dan homogen, yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang singnifikan dengan menggunakan kegiatan finger painting dapat meningkatkan Perkembangan Motorik Halus Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun di RA Jannah Al Rayyan Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Selatan. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil perhitungan rumus uji t yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa Thitung = 5,286 Ttabel = 2,120 dengan taraf signifikan 5% dapat disimpulkan Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan dengan menerapkan kegiatan Finger Painting Terhadap Perkembangan Motorik Halus Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun di RA Jannah Al Rayyan Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Selatan.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu apakah ada Pengaruh Finger Painting Terhadap Kemampuan Motorik Halus Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun di RA Jannah Al Rayyan Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode ekperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia 4-5 tahun kelompok B di RA Jannah Al Rayyan Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Selatan yang berjumlah 36 orang, 23 laki-laki dan 13 perempuan. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada data awal pretest di kelas ekperimen menunjukkan setelah dilakukan uji normalitas dan homogenitas kelas tersebut berdistribusi normal dan homogen, yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang singnifikan dengan menggunakan kegiatan finger painting dapat meningkatkan Perkembangan Motorik Halus Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun di RA Jannah Al Rayyan Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Selatan. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil perhitungan rumus uji t yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa Thitung = 5,286 Ttabel = 2,120 dengan taraf signifikan 5% dapat disimpulkan Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan dengan menerapkan kegiatan Finger Painting Terhadap Perkembangan Motorik Halus Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun di RA Jannah Al Rayyan Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Selatan.

Abstract

The transformation of education through the use of digital technology has become a crucial aspect in the development of education over the past decade. Technological developments such as e-learning, blended learning, mobile learning, and learning analytics play a strategic role in improving the quality of the learning process. Through a systematic review of Scopus-based literature from 2020 to 2025 using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method and bibliometric analysis, this study maps the trends in the use of digital technology, the dominant types of technology, and the integration challenges faced. The findings show an increase in the number of publications each year with a primary focus on digital learning technology, particularly in countries such as the United States, China, and Indonesia. Although digital technology has proven effective in increasing motivation and learning outcomes, its successful implementation still depends on the readiness of teacher competencies, infrastructure, and the reduction of the digital divide. This study provides a comprehensive overview of global developments and offers important directions for further research and the development of digital technology-based education policies so that educational transformation can be optimal and inclusive.
